Ironically, since S/LSH #202 was my first Legion purchase, Wildfire.
PBM, is there any future for me at LegionWorld after having given this answer?

Eh, doesn't matter much to me. I didn't particularly dislike Wildfire, but he was never one of my favorites, either.
PBM, if there's one Legionnaire you think should always be in any reboot, who would it be?

Brainiac 5, or at least some member of the Dox family. (Well, that's predictable.)
PBM, which Legion character would you most like to give a good slap to the face?

none hopefully....of course from what i can see what waid says and what waid does are too completely different things, so with that in mind we would get - gorilla, wolf, donkey, lion, giant ameba (sp?)
PBM - favorite brand of beer (if any)

That's hard to say, because any thread has the potential of becoming a flirting thread.

PBM, can you recite the preamble to the constitution of the United States without singing it to the tune of the Schoolhouse Rock cartoon from the 70's?

I used to be able to, but that was a long time and a lot of brain cells ago. Now, I get as far as "domestic tranquility" and I'm pretty much spent.
PBM, what was/is your favorite subject in school?

Tenth grade. Encyclopedic knowledge of high school science was actually a marketable asset.
PBM, is your best friend from high school still a part of your day to day life?

Day to day no, more like week to week, sometimes month to month. He's still my best friend, I just don't hang out with him as often as I used to a few years ago.
PBM, how long have you known your oldest friend (that you are actually still friends with)?

22 years of which we've been married for the last 14.
Your high school graduating class has gathered in the Hyatt on the west side of town.
All of us LegionWorlders are in the Marriott on the east side of town -- hey, Ferro, watch your hands, buddy.
Which way are you driving, PBM?

It's under the hat in the picture in my profile here. Marines were saluting me on the subway.
PBM, you have to invite two LegionWorlders to live with you for one year -- it's not a new Fox series -- who are the lucky ones?

Any chance I could get Vee to shrink about three dozen others and sneak them in as well, is there? I couldn't really say, could I cheat and say Sonnie as he lives here anyway and Numf as we've known each other for decades now? And the doors would always be open for anyone else of course.
pbm, should corporal punishment be allowed or banned?

Jeesh, that's a question for a school teacher to answer. Do you think it would help discipline? If so, then I would allow it, provided that there were very strict guidelines to be followed in (1) determining whether the offense warranted corporal punishment, and (2) administering the punishment in a consistent and appropriate manner.
We're talking about "the strap" right? That was administered across the hands. I got it once or twice in school (totally underserved each time - but that's another story).
PBM, who was your worst teacher and why?

A coach who "taught" civics my junior year. He wasn't particularly bright, was jealous of students who outperformed his own kids (that'd be about 75% of us), decried anything outside his own narrow little views as communist. We didn't win many football games either. His only method of classroom discipline involved a 30" long paddle with notches carved into the handle for each especially memorable beating. Bringing a halfback to tears - notch, bruising the national merit scholar's butt - notch.
Were you a good student in high school?

I had a maths teacher called Miss Edwards, and she wasn't scary or bad particularly, just useless at teaching. Oh God, she used to wear hand made two peices that were so unflattering we couldn't take her seriously before she even opened her mouth. Bless her really, some people are just put on the Earth to show you how not to do something. Maybe I'm being cruel but she wouldn't last a week in one of my schools.
pbm, favourite quote from a book
