The line is "For instance, you keep insisting I was sent here by--", and presumably the sentence is to be filled out by "the Naltorian government" or "the United Planets" or something. It's possible that he was sent by someone else, or it could be that he was going to state that no one sent him, but that he himself wanted to join (possibly inspired by the Legionnaires trip to Naltor in #2?).

That'll teach the Legion (especially Cos) from interupting every line he's had since he appeared.

I refuse to hate Dream Boy before we actually see him do something. He did seem reasonably clued when he was talking to Lightning Lad.

Quick read through last night: I was really struck by the Tinya-Imra fusion. It was a fascinating idea for the use of their powers and a beautiful image.
Dream Boy really took a great leap up in the character department. Using his power and common sense - and possibly giving back some of the snark he's had to put up with so far.
Rokyn - beautiful and alien. Of course a planet under a red sun should be bathed in red and orange . A good explanation for why they are so insular. I love text-dense history pages.
Why shouldn't Brainy have "foreseen" that a transmatter jammer would be useful? This isn't the first time that the opposition has escaped. That just struck me as a red herring or teasing the readers.
Great to see Mon-el again! And there sure are a lot of costumed villains on that last page. We should have fun coming up with names for them all.
If the Legion still intends to send Supergirl back to her own time, B5 will have to start inventing time travel - and then use it to go back and avert Nura's death.... with consequences, of course.

I really liked the Issue, I can't wait to see Mon-El back because I liked him in COIE and I haven't seen him till this issue.

[/QB] in the previous issue, Brainy to appeared to anticipate things that mere logic wouldn't have allowed him to.(alarm sounding, and something else) I think it's another clue to what appears to be dream girl's precog powers now being part of brainy. it's been subtle, but I would bet a lifetime supply of Kono juice that it's true. another note, I have over 130 posts so far. when do I stop being an applicant?

Anybody else thinking that Trip's fling with Element Lad could turn her into Duo Damsel + 1?

seeing how waid likes turning past legion events on end, what if she becomes Uno Damsel? Back when I was in jr high, in centuries past, and Duo Damsel lost her penultimate self, my comics-reading friends and I determined that her new superhero name would be Lone Lass. And with her new LL designation, she would be able to join Superboy's stable of girlfriends whose initials are LL.

I thought I heard somewhere, way back when, that her name with only a single body would be Unity.

Glad to see this storyline coming to a head. I hope the payoff is worth the buildup - I was a bit disappointed with the Lemnos finale, but this looks to be a more interesting throwdown (let's just hope the new Legion HQ survives it!).
I didn't really buy Ayla's strong feelings for Kara - it seemed to come out of nowhere to me. I'm still not sure why Supergirl is here out of the obvious promotional benefits. She still comes across as empty-headed to me like maybe she really is sleepwalking or something.
Can't wait to see how many other rebooted Legionnaires are amongst that end groupshot and it's great to see "Mon-el" again. Let's hope his origin isn't too convoluted!

Uno Damsel, Lone Lass, or Unity. if we're lucky, DC will have a 900 number and let us call in our votes.

Mono Maid was always the name I heard/read associated with post-Conspiracy Lu.
A very decent issue... this could be a trend at last! Barry's art has been the only thing drawing any interest until lately. While originally lukewarm on the LSV story, I'm liking it (please! no Lemnos-ish letdown!)... especially getting Mon back (lose the blue panties though!)
Since the Cham detective issue, it's actually been building, becoming a book to look forward to again.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

This is certainly influenced by the Fear Factory episode, but I am wondering if Brainiac 5 is a machine, or part machine. There are those wires from his skull, of course, and the circuitry on his face. Some other Coluans had this same sort of circuitry. This would fit even better with the possibility that Nura-as-data is now enmeshed with him - and his analytical forecasting has taken a great leap forward as a result, so that it seems like premonition.
What could the Coluans have done to him that was horrible, as Lemnos suggested? Made an organic Querl into a machine? Or taken the machine Querl and given him emotions, by intent or mistake; emotions which were too strong and made him unsuitable for their society? If intellect is everything there, perhaps machine thinking isn't considered intellect - so he was rejected. The woman we've been calling his mother could be his mother in the sense that she, the chief researcher, created him. The lullaby stuff was just imprinting or part of the experiment.
Just an idea, I haven't convinced myself yet.

He is Mon-El. MON-EL! He's dressed in his pre-crisis outfit. PRE-CRISIS! I'm beside myself with glee. GLEE do you hear! Truth is I'm not a big fan of the current incarnation of the Legion. This was the first issue I've purchased since maybe issue 5 or 6. I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come. AL

Good to see another Mon-El fan on board! Welcome Andorian Lantern. I suspect Lar has a big role to play in the coming months so strap in and hang in there for the ride.

Agreed, Vee. Why bring back such a fave only to relegate him to cameos and sporadic appearances? But as to which side with whom he allies, I suspect the clues point to him being intially a foe of the team. If Kara stays on the team there has to be an antagonist who can equal her powers and Mon fits the bill. Perhaps it was SHE who exiled him and he goes ballistic on her when they meet (see cover of next issue)?

Hmm...I like that idea. I am so crossing my fingers that Supergirl is the cause of an alternate timeline that created the current Legion and that it can somehow be repaired.
Hey...a guy can dream right?
