Barkeep! This fella I've just brought in with me is Sketch Lad, the fastest pen in the West , and the lady there is his wife, and they're gonna have everything they want to get pifflicated, and the tab (if you ever had one here) is on me! Oh, and a double deluxe meal of Venturan Elvabird for 'em, after that. And bring me an unsweetened iced tea. I don't dare have anything more myself, or else I'll go punch out that Durlan *ahem* lying sauced out in the alley, after I took a swipe at him. And he's not worth it ... {rueful smile}

It will be my pleasure Grey! Just took a look at what was at the other end of that link and I was enthralled. Great stuff! Don't you worry, I'll take good care of them and, as always, it's on the house (so no need to mortgage the townhouse!)

I knew you could save me, not only the mortgage, but an actual hyperspace trip to Ventura! With all those blue-haired old lady Gil'Dishes nattering away in the next seats over about their operations and transmutations. Drives you mad to travel the Milky Way these days. Except under your own wingpower, o'course.

Well, PB, we dote on anyone who comes in the door, try our best to make them feel welcome, get them drunk, and fix them up with their hearts desire. We're not always successful, but we try.

Thanks Danny and Arachne. I'm thinking of naming drinks after valued patrons:
First, the "Blaine Blaster", which is 180 proof alcohol, a shot of gin, a swirl of mint schnaps topped with just a sprig of mint (and a cherry, if you're extra good). This one is guaranteed to recharge your fuel cells.
Next, the "Arachnetini", a simple concoction of Grey Goose Vodka, opal nera and a spritz of seltzer. Guaranteed to entice anyone to your lair. Use with caution.
Enjoy.

Hi Quis good to see you. In your honor I've made a special drink. Since you don't consume alcohol, this is a drink to help negate the effects of too much drinking. It's a secret recipe handed down for many generations. We call it:
The Pepto-Quismol.
I'm sure it will be a huge hit.

I'm sure it will be a huge hit. I try to be soothing. By the way, Thriftstore Debutante requested that I open up a thread for legal issues. There were a couple of questions on palimony, which is more in your area of the law. I answered as best I could.
