Harbinger will laugh her little cotton socks off at the idea! She'll look like this ---> lol

She is most definitely not married to Numf, though they have known each other for years..... She's my housemate and he's my big brother.....

Icey is my bent but not Numfs...

Hoorah for me I say as it means one less competitor in the ongoing battle to be Iceys primary beau!

Thanks for setting me straight (so to speak), Sonnie ... er S. I hadn't realized that you were also interested in Icey's pageant. We're going to quite a competition. What's your talent going to be?

given the ***ahem*** length and breadth of the talent here on LW there should be a good competition!

Does saying "I saw him first!!" win me any extra points with the judges?

Well, you'll have to ask the judges -- on pageant night. Since I seem to have talked to most of the contestants, I'm going to have to recuse myself as a judge. Maybe I can be MC, since that post is not yet filled. I will do the impromptu interviews.

BTW, if your talent is truly pendulous, Icey will be pleased. laugh

BTW, S, isn't it about 2 a.m. over there? I admire your stamina.

Oh, and I don't believe the <blush> for a moment.

Arachne, welcome. It's a slow night. Hoping that you would brave the blustery weather, I brewed a pot of green tea. Care for a cup?

I'd love one. I'm afraid the weather got me though. My throat's starting to get sore. frown Maybe it's just from dry air; the furnace has been coming on more.

Why am I seeing spots all over my monitor? Somebody tell me this is a message board problem and not a computer bug.

Here's your tea. Tonight we're serving in Christian Dior Casablanca tea cups, with saucers.

Although I'm on the other side of the continent, I know what you're going through. I think there's a very nasty flu bug working it's way through North America. For me it started out with a chest cough, worked its way into a sore throat, then a head cold, and now that I'm getting over it, traces of all phases. It seems to last about two weeks. Not much you can do, except that when you get really miserable, have an extra shot of Opal Nera, or whatever your poison is. smile

I see the same thing. I posted a thread down in ?? Science Police?? or whatever it's called. A lot of other people are experiencing the same thing. It's not your computer.

Rest assured. Legion World is in control of your screen. It controls, the horizontal and the vertical, and .... well you know the rest.

<Enters and surveys the place>

Nobody here again. Business has been slow lately. Well maybe Icey's pageant will help. And I'm sure that when we open SWEATS, our new gym, next door, that'll bring in business as well. Strange, though, Vee doesn't seem too keen on the idea of a gym. I wonder if there was some gym incident in his past that he's keeping from me?

<Busies himself stocking the bar>

Damn this place is dead. I think I saw Outdoor Miner skulking around the alleyways of LW. Maybe if I spray a mist of Red Dog into the air, it'll lure him in. And then his fans will follow. <devious grin>

You have tons of fans. You're such a self-deprecating fellow that you don't notice.

Something else else on tap?
