Wow Semi, that's great, my Dad's name is Des too! My family is very Irish (about 90%), and my Dad and grandfather were both named Desmond. Do you have a strong Irish backround too? It's always good to meet other people who have a lot of Desmond's in they're families!

My Dad was the only Desmond. His mother was Irish - Northern Irish. (The only Catholic in the family was my mom's dad, who was Ukranian.) For the record, the others were Scottish and English.
