Hopefully you'll have had enough rest so that you can fulfill your duties as Chief of Security without going on medical leave

Medical leave would be terrible for me. I'd spend all day chasing even more women that I do now! And since the majority of my children end up as demons, evil robots or future world conquerors, it's not good for me to be chasing more women than usual ! I need a steady flow of work!

Well, we may need your services in that regard. We will see if Cobalt Kid gets a clean bill of health after resting over the weekend

So does that mean that Cobie's bodyguard gets to have all the ladies who are clamoring for a piece of Cobie? If that's the case, I volunteer to fill in for Dev whenever he's on leave.
Of course, my permanent job monitoring the girls' locker room takes up a lot of time, but I'm sure I can spare a day here and there.

Cobie dear, if you expect me to reconstruct the offices everytime they get demolished by Sharky and Furball "roughhousing", I'm going to need some additional compensation. A girl's got to take care of her future needs after all! BTW, isn't it time for another paycheck? I imagine there must be a big bonus in them for Blockade Boy, Super Lad Kid, Arachne, IB, Sharky, Space Ranger and me. After all, we slaved and worked overtime to keep Legion World safe for everyone while you were having fun running for Leader! Welcome to the Security office Dev dear, and you too Furball, you cutie! I'm looking forward to having each of you assigned to joining me on one of my upcoming undercovers assignments. I specialize in those you know and always enjoy having company!

I absolutely and completely agree with the Empress! I could sure use the money for when I next go to Shameless Hussies... er, I mean Cafe Cramer! Yeah, I need the money for Fat Cramer's delicious pies!

The new paychecks are in, and I'd like to point out the large amount of overtime pay that I put you all down for ! The budget for the Security Office knows no bounds these days... Besides, after you've all proven yourselves time and time again, you're invaluable! Dev and Furball, you're first paychecks are in the mail too. And don't worry about me, I make sure I get payed !

Sharky, an incidental bonus for your paycheck is that a few escaping inmates somehow fell into you tank. Looks like you'll be getting a nice full lunch today! vvvvvvvvvvvvv vvvvvvvvvvvvvv

Cobie,
I see you've rested over the weekend and are fit for duty. As co-leader I don't want to see you get overworked.
I hope that was inmate-shaped shark food that was put into Sharky's tank and that no prisoner's civil rights were violated.

Attention Cobalt Kid! Monius Elysius needs your assistance. He's awakened but hasn't DONE anything. After 2000 years, I think he'd like to move around a bit!
"Hey Jim! Get Mon out of the Zone!! And...when do we get Condo back?"

Thanks Vee! I'm really enjoying that story so far! And thank you Quis, for the vote of confidence! I'm ready for the Security Office to have a great relationship with both of the leaders during your term, and it looks like things are going to start off well, then! I'll drop off a full-report sometime soon! And don't worry, the shark-food was grade A approved and no civil rights were violated !
