As the items he requested arrived Faraway Lad prepared to open the portal.
Rockhopper Lad , leaned across and asked, “why these ingredients, are you going to use them for an incantation”
“What?” said a slightly distracted Faraway, “oh, these. Oh no. no. I just thought it would be nice to be comfortable and have a drink after we are finished”
“Now” he continued “if you would all be so kind as to stand where I can see you. That’s good now When you get to Earth 4 you should meet that Earths Faraway I cannot come with you as due to the laws of comic book science should two Faraways from different universes meet then the fabric of reality will split and allow those that live ‘outside’ to get in and that is one thing we don’t want to happen” He shuddered at his memories of the ticks, “so if we are all ready….”
“Ah” said Faraway, “you have arrived here, that was unexpected”.
Looking around the heroes saw they were in a darkened room, Faraway was sat in his leather Queen Anne Chair, a leather bound book open in one hand, a glass of port on the table next to him.
Nova whispered to Tamper, “has the crazy old coot actually done anything?”
From out of the shadows a voice as deep as time and as old as the ocean came clear and sharp.
“Faraway, they were supposed to go direct to…”
“I know Stranger” said Faraway standing, “but the dimensional weakening that has allowed this crisis to build is even affecting the Faraway force, this was the best that that worlds Faraway could do”
A deep musical note sounded, rising to a question at the end, Faraway turned and said “ah yes, Horace please set a course for Earth”
“Now my friends we must get you to where you are needed, but before we do”,
And he reached behind the chair
“Tamper lad, I believe you have 7 sets of single socks in your drawers at home, well here are the matching pairs. I’m afraid some of the Faraway’s like to play tricks on people” Turning to Nova he said “I also think these keys are yours”, handing a set of handcuff keys over. “Things always seem to be Faraway when you need them don’t they” he smiled
“Right lets get you to Earth, once there you will know what to do, I’ll follow on in Horace. So once the Super Moby Dick gets into orbit I’ll be in a position to get you and Lucian Lad back home. Now be careful…”
The heroes blinked as the room was suddenly full of bright light and laboratory equipment. They were on Earth 4…..

Thank you Jailbait Lass. Rest up and get well. I'm sure Cobie will come up with a suitable bonus for you when this Crisis is over. You've certainly perfomed admirably under very difficult circumstances, keeping us all in touch and up to date.
Now, to the business at hand. It seems that all of these various crises we've been dealing with have been leading us around in circles, depleting our resources and wearing us down.
Someone is behind all of this and it's time we started acting instead of reacting to events. I think most of us are finally back here on Legion World and the rest are on their way back so it's time to get this figured out and plan our next move.
Someone get Cobie, the Princess, Crusdader and the rest with them on an open comm link so we can share information.
Ready? Okay. Cobie? Princess? Are you there? Good.
Does anyone have any information regarding who may be behind all these catastrophies?
"Hey Jim! Get Mon out of the Zone!! And...when do we get Condo back?"

We do. And I'm afraid I think Eryk is right there with this bastard. If what the Red Bee said is any indication, Lucifer Lass may be in on it too. Originally posted by Cobalt Kid: Where should we begin?
You all know about multiverses, and parallel Earths, and alternate timelines and all of that nonsense--let's face it: as a LMBer, that's pretty much our lives. And it gets confusing, and a little hard to keep track of. But it's our history, and it makes sense in its own unique way.
But there are forces that can destroy all of that. The cosmic stage is so grand, that's its hard to express what this means...but whole histories, and continuities can be torn from existence. And in its place stands convoluted discrepancies and twists and misplaced timelines where things don't add up quite the way they should. You'd think the universe could correct itself, but it can't. And the legacy of these forces means years and years of more torn timelines and screwed up histories, and well...who knows where it could lead.
This has happened before, in other Earths, and in other continuities. A force exists, a harbinger of doom that does exactly this. One such crisis created one single history out of many, and left a plethora of death, convolution and almost unmanageable after-effects. This being was called the Anti-Monitor. Originally posted by Cobalt Kid: The Anti-Monitor, against every being that could stand against him, almost destroyed all that there was. He was beaten, but his legacy succeeded in a way, for all that was left was but a shadow of its former self. And years and decades of restoration and fixing things, guided by the fates that controlled the universe, only brought to light further problems. These problems are no mere side effect--they could potentially unravel all there was.
<looks at Princess Crujectra>
It is her thoughts on this enemy that I give you what we know:
A being such as the Monitor is a universal being, like the phoenix force. When a Monitor dies, his memories are transferred to a new being, somewhere across timelines and histories and continuities. So, when this Crisis' Anti-Monitor died, his memories were transferred to another. Sometimes it can take moments for the transfer of memories to happen, like Monitor to the Jectra twins... sometimes it can take years, even 1,000 years.
This 'other' inherited these powers and this legacy. This legacy of utter destruction and dismemberment of our very sense of selves and sense of a greater, more complex universal storyline.
And he is an enemy that the LMB have known before, and have fought before. He is one of our greatest and most feared foes. And he has been reborn, from the energies of the Emerald Empress, with the full knowledge of exactly what power it is that he wields. You may have heard of him before. We call him… ----------- . And he lives again. He won’t stop until we’re all nothing but ash…until we won’t have even our memories.

Hang on a second, the Anti-Monitor? Didn't we fight him before in the early days of the LMBP? Wasn't there something abut a.... a Crisis. Foxy Roxy. The Anti-Moderator! That's the one. We.... suffered. Is this the same guy? Someone new? Or could we be dealing with a copycat? Someone using the methodology and the patterens of the original as a kind of tribute or as a way to cover their own crimes. Grissom, what we need... oh, sorry. Too much CSI. So, same guy or not?
