I voted for Ayla. I'm all about the girl power.

i think I will too, she's a nice gril and this Legion could use some nicening up ... comics in general for that matter.

except for that time she strung along Violet by pressuring Paul to go out with her. Or there was that one time she quit the Legion and gave Brin and ultimatum and then ditched him.

Poor Paul. It must suck to be sexually harrassed by the characters you're writing.

I voted Tyroc! This is such a great opportunity to give him the spotlight, and cause Paul to think outside the box!

I would vote for Duplicate Damsel if I could. I think the current membership is a cop out. I would add Duplicate Damsel, ME Lad, Bouncing Boy, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad back in. And shouldn't Night Girl and XS be included?

I voted for Sensor Girl.
She was leader for only 4 moths in the Magic Wars.
She's deserved a more time like Legion leader.
Projectra rules again!

I voted for Sun Boy. He's one of my historical favorites and he hasn't held a leadership position since the evacuation of Xenn (not counting the five-year gap), so I think he deserves the shot.

(Also, metatextually, I think it would be really interesting to see how his interaction with Earth Man is affected by his role as leader.)

I think he was temporary leader in that LSV story that Grell drew forever ago.

Agree with comments about Sensor Girl's costume. Bring back Projectra! (and fix Dream Girl's hair while you are at it!)

This was SO exciting! Despite my years of Legion fandom, this is the first time I've ever exercised my franchise to vote for Legion leader! (I was bad at snail mail even back when it was the only kind of mail).

There are so many characters that I would love to see as leader -- Tellus, Tyroc, Shrinking Violet -- but in the final analysis I had to vote for someone whom I thought would do a good job, had not been leader before (at least in the main continuity), and would make for interesting stories. And that candidate is...Chameleon Boy! Go Reep!

...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

I was torn between Ayla and Vi, but decided on Ayla because Vi should be more freed up to be able to conduct Espionage Squad missions, and Ayla should have a chance to shine again like she did in the past.

Lately, I've taken the TWO-FACE approach to deciding Legion covers I love over on Face Off. Well dang it had to do it for the election with PG or Tyroc getting the vote.

Hope Troy gets deputy.

Go Tinya

I'm with EDE its fascinating to see how folks are voting. I'm looking forward to seeing the results, and where Paul takes us as a result.

I thought Chameleon Boy was leader when he tried to invade Khundia and got the team marooned on that asteroid?

<------- Bad Memory Lad.

Looking at other websites it seems like nearly every member has got people voting for them. There doesn't seem to be the landslide I might have expected - not that I know who that landslide might have favoured. That said the leaders, based on what I've heard other people have voted for, seem to be Tyroc, Tinya and Gates.

Tinya I expected after someone on here put that case for her on their website {which got linked to by comicbookresources - so much for the media not favouring any one candidate!} wink but Tyroc and Gates are surprises. Makes me want to change my vote to Tyroc now. I'd love to see what Paul would do if he got the win!

Cham may have been leader of the Espionage Squad at the time? I know he pulled the mission as an Espionage Squad thing....I am pretty sure Lightning Lad was leader of the actual Legion at the time though..
