I voted for Tinya, but Quislet and Gates would have been my second and third choices.

^ Weird. But at least that spares us a win by 2 of the 4 biggest panel-hogs in this book.
I'm really not sure who I want to vote for. I wish we could see a voting progress tally or something so I know which characters are in the lead and then decide which one to support.
I really wouldn't mind an Ayla win since it would be a good chance for her to get some much-needed personality and development after all these years, but I'm really hoping for someone totally out-of-left-field like Tellus or Jacques or someone.

I bet Levitz is culling duplicate members. Look for one of the Chameleons to be gone after the Durlan plot.

P.S. Can we vote "often"? Or does it lock you out after your first vote? Anyone tried?

Well, Duplicate Damsel is winning our version of the election, but she isn't eligible in this one unfortunately. Tyroc is a close second.
I have to say I'm disappointed by Night Girl's absence. She's who I would have voted for.

There's a note on the site that duplicates will be discarded, presumably via IP tracking, but that doesn't stop anyone from going to another computer (at work, or the library, say) and 'stuffing the ballot box.'
Since I'm torn between voting for Cham, Jan, Tinya, Ayla and Mon, I'd be likely to stuff the ballot box with different votes!

Oops! Someone has already voted from your location It's IP based. So you can vote again from another computer. Not that I'm advocating ballot stuffing.

So, does Lu get one vote, three votes or a whole heap of votes?
'Cause that would be funny, a clause in the voting guidelines that Carggites only get a single vote...

Updated the link on the main page to point to the real election.

I'm exercising my privilege to be discreet. Let's just say that he's kind of tall.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

I voted for either Cham, Tinya, Ayla, Mon or Jan. Any of them could be a great leader.
I did not vote for Command Kid, no matter how much he tried to make me.

Rockhopper Lad - I voted for him too. I thought I could resist but... I couldn't. Originally posted by Eryk Davis Ester: I followed the advice in my signature!
Er... getting elected leader comes with a new costume, right? I came so close to voting for him. He would definitely be my top choice to win this thing but I just can't bear to see his boring 'look' getting more page-space. If Cinar or Portela would only do something about his appearance I'd be more than happy to ensure a victory for him. And I have LOTS of computers at my disposal at my University Library. (Not that I'm advocating ballot-stuffing. Would that even work if all the computers are at the same location?)

Element Lad gets no respect anymore!
Notice that he's not been on *any* of the group covers?
Yet, formerly a perennial deputy, with eventual leader experience.
Anyway, he got my vote!

I just realised - only 7 out of the 25 members on this list are female! Is that the lowest female to male ratio on this team ever? Seems kinda ridiculous. It only occurred to me when I realised my top 5 winners of this poll were all male and wondered why there weren't any females on my list. Turns out my top female choices to win (Night Girl and Duplicate Damsel) have been taken off the team. Paul needs to start balancing that dynamic out a bit more I think.

Anyway, he got my vote! It is weird how such a formerly popular character like Element Lad has been dropped from the Legion's pages so much over the last few years. I used to kinda dislike him because I found him to be a bit of a panel-hog during the previous Levitz era, but he's been MIA for so long now that I kinda like him again. My desire to see a Legion leader who's never held the position before means I won't be happy to see him win this contest though.

I really have no idea, though!

I count 8: Chameleon Girl Dawnstar Dream Girl Lightning Lass Phantom Girl Sensor Girl Shadow Lass Shrinking Violet That's a little less than one-third of the team, and pretty consistent with numbers for most of the preboot.
