Also you can choose the villain who kill the candidate.

Kinetix - erased from continuity by Jonni DC for just being too messed up.
Gear - missed his regular maintenance, broke down, replacement parts on back order and unavailable prior to reimagining deadline.
Magno - died of ennui.

 Kinetix had promise but has gone horribly wrong. Wildfire is terribly convoluted post-boot. Shikari needs a new name.

I don't know. I LIKE the new Wildfire, kind of, more than the old one anyway, Sensor, too.  And I LOVE Gates. And XS. And Shikari. Cub, too. Ummmmm, I guess that leaves Kon. I don't like him, at all, so I guess I'll have ummmm, that awful Proty creator bug from Gates home planet turn the little clone into a Proty, which is sort of Kon's nature, anyway. Then, Kon can die saving Jan from that awful reincarnation where his body is alive, sort of, and his soul is replaced by Garth. ugh Candle

Thunder -- have her pop back in time just to get the axe
Kid Q -- nothing against her, but with the "reimagining" coming anyway, it'd be a dramatic way to end things.
Sensor -- clear the way for Projectra in the new series.

Not easy to choose. I LOVE KINETIX!!!!  And I like Gates, Shikari, Kid Quantum II and Sensor. The new Wildfire is okay and so are Gear and Thunder. And poor Magno's suffered enough! So that leaves: Kon-el and Cub!!

We've got to keep Gates, XS, Wildfire and I even like Sensor (all versions of her). So I'd say...
Thunder...NEVER liked her. Not one original thing about her.
Kinetix...so sorry. Loved Zoe but don't see how they can bring her back with all the crud that's been done to her.
Shikari...I do like her but she doesn't seem to do much other than open thresholds and any Kwai can do that. Besides, it opens the way for the return of Dawnstar.
Also, I also vote that Imra is out of there. Seeing how Steve Lightle drew a Tellus-like creature recently makes me miss the guy.

Now you all leave Imra alone. Some of us like it when she goes berserk and forces the team to wear medallions with her face on them and forces them to fall in love with her and marry her and stuff.

Well...
I was practically begging for a Superboy (any Superboy)in the Legion and I got my wish...sadly. I swear that Timber Wolf seems absolutely level headed and rational next to this goon.
My first pick is to send Kon back into one of the "space gates" and see him fry/disintegrate/disappear/go *poof* or whatever would look graphically spectacular.
Kinetix never worked for me, I don't care much for magic in my Sci-Fi, the mix so rarely works very well that I just find her annoying and what the heck, with all the revamping she's recieved she's practically a poster child for Jennette Khan's belief that the Legion is too complictaed to follow. ...so...Zoe meets face to face with Ra's al Ghul and he whoops her butt and absorbs her metaxis(?) energy and gives the LSH one last glorious battle before the reboot.
And for a third one let's have Thunder accidentally say "Shazam" backwards (or something equally silly) and turn into a Black Marvel. Maybe THEN she'd be interesting.
(heh) a Marvel in the LSV that's almost a cool idea.

I don't know, why others fans hate Imra.
She's The very soul of Legion.
If one classic character must die, I prefer Ayla, always be a bored girl, and now in the Spark role, worse.

do Magno and Thunder even count as legionaires anymore? i can't remember in which post-retcon they appeared in
(which probably says enough right there)
i don't like Imra in this retcon ... do like shikari (but i miss dawnstar) -- ditto for Sensor (miss Projectra, like the 1/2 snake look) ... no opinion on wildfire, can't stand gates, kinetix or superboy
do you think they'd be nice enough to kill three? DNA did it in their Legion Lost series ... i'll keep hope alive
