After the LOTW 5, I have many questions in the old "new" legion history...
1. If the second body of Luornu died in the 21 century....The Time Traper never doomed the same body.
2. What about the original Kara Zor-El?
3. The Magic Wars never happended, and Pol is alive in some place or he died in another saga maybe?
4. No death of Emerald Empress. The real Sarya of Venegar is alive! For good ...
5 . Mon-El and Tasmia never married...
6. Yera and Lydda are legionnaires....But Lydda is still the Rokk's girlfriend?
7. Tenzil, Tyroc and Quislet are legionnaires in active too.
8. Ferro from the reboot. He's from the Earth 0 too. His origin is in the pages of Superman in the 21 century. He must stay in this Legion.
9. And Spider Girl has gray hair...not red. Horrible!
10 . Inferno (Sandy) is stil in the 21 century or she died in another title?
From UK with glamour.

Please forgive me for bringing one question that has been bothering me a long time and I believe that it is one of the longest dangler than all in history - I think you will all hate me for that or you will think that I am a joke or something like that. heh. Okay it comes: Why the heck did Rokk wear the helmet in his first appearance and then later on, no more helmet? Whatever happened to his magnetic vision? I love the idea of having the magnetic vision. It's unique. Was Cos the only one superhero with magnetic vision? So you tell me this is a dumb question or a joke or whatever it is.

This is what the Legion needs to get back to the top. CONTROVERSY! INTRIGUE! Things that spark the historically anal legion readers' minds! Now I too want to know what happened to that darndable helmut.

Who is the one flying around now? 3. Never happened YET, I hope meaning Pol is somewhere. 4. YES!!! Never did like that replacement. 5. Yet. 6. I think so. 7. Not definitely but they are one an errand. 8. Agreed. 9. I always suspected her of a die-job. 10. Hmmm?

The Legion from Adventure Comics #247 is from an alternate reality, one I refer to as Earth 1.5, only because every time I try and call them the Earth-2 Legion, I get shouted down and told there was never any such team. Of course, now that Earth-2 is reborn with its own Power Girl, perhaps pre-Crisis history can be overlooked? Anyway, Cos's helmet and vision (given by a super-serum, ala Invisible Kid) is not the only difference. Note also, in Adventure Comics #247, Lightning BOY must clap his hands together to create sparks, while Saturn Girl (actually from Saturn, not Titan) was *taught* telepathy by the "super-scientists" of her world. Anyway, to answer your question, "Why the helmet?" The most likely answer is, "Because it looked cool." Beyond that, we could theorize that that world's Rokk comes from a Braal with a atmosphere not entirely like Earth's Perhaps, like Aquaman, he can breath out atmo for a time, but periodically needs whatever component we lack.

Since it is the Binder Legion, let's pretend that Bubble Rokk, Lightning Boy and Yellow Shirt Lass didn't go to Smallville, they went to Fawcett City to pick up Captain Marvel. Taking Billy to an ice cream shoppe of space seems appropriate.

Bubble helmets were a fashion trend at the time. Note that Cosmic King doesn't wear his fishbowl helmet anymore, either.
Poor Mano never caught the memo, and has spent the last 10 years topping the 'Future Fashion Don'ts' lists. Since he can't read Athramite, he remains clueless as to why fashionable people point and laugh when he enters the room.
I'd be fine with Spider-Girl having hair the color of spider webbing if it looked *more* like spider-webbing and not like boring old gray hair. I liked her as a redhead, but could see what they were attempting there. Pity the artist blew it, and the spiderweb-colored-Spider-Girl-hair wasn't really obvious enough and just looked 'off.'

I know Set is just kidding about Mano, but he DOES wear one for a reason - he, like Tellus, has to have a special atmosphere.
I'm pretty sure the Great Darkness hasn't happened, either.
Darkseid was just killed differently in Final Crisis. And Shady is still in her Cockrum outfit which was destroyed during the fight at Sorcerers Planet during the GD. She changed into a Science Police outfit for the big fight, then totally changed her look with the jumpsuit/high collar/cape and very short hair.
We don't know that the Magic Wars didn't happen, yet. Originally, I think that Mysa quit the Legion shortly after the MWs and went to Zerox, which had been opened with Pol's death. That's were she hooked up with Mordru and where we found her this time.
Something else elses not right with Rokk and Lydda. We'll just have to wait and see.

Didn't the Darkseid in Great Darkness mention at one point that he was "recovering" to what had happened to him in the present.

And yet a thousand years passed inbetween Final Crisis and the Great Darkness Saga. Who knows WHAT happened to Darkseid's body inbetween that time.
And actually, what did they do with Darkseid's OLD body.

I don't know what Final Crisis did with the body. That series drove me a little crazy trying to figure out which book to read in which order. It's not just Shady's outfit either, that lead me to think the GD didn't happen. Kara and Kal were important in that Saga and they haven't been shown working with the Legion of Earth 0 yet. Maybe we'll see what happened, or if it happened, in Secret Origins

Oh (I seem to be saying that a lot lately.)
Well, I guess loosing bodies is what happens when you keeps dying in different ones.

Can they make up their minds on this body thing?
Sometimes they have bodies. Sometimes they are avatars because normal people wouldn't understand to look at their (the God's) reality.
So was it the body that was lost, the essence, the avatar,... what! How do you file an insurance claim if you can't even be sure what was lost?

They had to use the same bullet to kill Darkseid that killed Orion, right?
It was a special bullet that could kill 'godlings', because nothing normal could do the dirty job.
They had to use that bullet, even though Darkseid was in a human host.
So, I guess the idea was to kill his soul(individual consciousness) even more than his physical body.
But that would mean, I guess, that they wanted Darkseid gone for good.

OK, according to FC: All of the News Gods "died" in an unseen war in heaven, and then were reborn in human avatars/hosts, with the winners (Apokolips) being better off than their foes. No one knows what happened to their original bodies (and Apokolips for that matter). Didio did try to show this in Countdown and Death of the New Gods, but Morrison and others have decried those as bunk, so I tend to let them slide. In Great Darkness Saga, much is made of the notion that Darkseid may just be a ghost or echo of his former self, and he may, indeed have died long ago. So I don't see a problem with his involvement in GDS, especially since I highly doubt that Darkseid won't be brought back sometime in the next 20 years (read: 5 ).

From the author himself: FINAL CRISIS # 1- 3 SUPERMAN BEYOND # 1- 2 SUBMIT FINAL CRISIS # 4 – 5 BATMAN #682 – 683 FINAL CRISIS # 6 – 7 (If you want, insert Lo3w after Superman:Beyond #2, but the above are the essential parts of the story)

So are Cham and Brande still related this time around? (I know that was a retcon in the first place, and never repeated, so I gotta' wonder...)
Hey, Kids! My "Cranky and Kitschy" collage art is now viewable on DeviantArt! Drop by and tell me that I sent you. *updated often!*

I believe they are still related post-Inf Crisis.
Remember this legion is supposed to be as close as possible to the Original Pre-Crisis team and their history. That would include Cham being related to R.J. poor Cham..what's he gonna do when he finds out his dad's dead.
hmmm just thinking for a sec..
Earth 0 - R.J. (is he from the 20th century as he was Post Crisis?)
Earth 247 - Martian Manhunter maybe
Earth Prime...we dont know the Legion's Origin.
Bring back the super-cousins
