Jeepers, Jan! I know it's annoying being called onto a Legion mission immediately after the drag show, but you could at least make a better attempt to remove your eye shadow than that!

Thank you DC for helping me make a decision. I am dropping Legion Lost for sure.

they've tarnished the name of a once great series!

Why are they doing another crossover just when Legion Lost was finally getting it's own storyline back? Either make it an independent Legion title or send our beloved heroes home! I don't want the Legion so intertwined with other 21st century heroes/series that I have no intention of ever reading. Legion Lost could stand on it's own merit if DeFalco and DC tried writing decent material.

Too soon to start shipping Element Lad and Chemical Kid? There seems to be a whole lot of mentoring going on, and curious minds want to know why Jan is so interested in 'educating young men.'

I couldn't agree MORE. I thought we would start to get some spotlight issues focusing on all the secrets the Lost members seem to be keeping from each other.

I think they will soon. DC's blog announced both DeFalco and Woods are heading elsewhere, and given the gossip I read online (mostly on bleeding cool) I guess january 2013 will see another round of pruning among the lower selling books.

BTW, I also wish DC put a new writer on LoSH. Not only I think the book is bad, but it looks like it's also selling worse than ever.

and i agree about the Losh book. i honestly haven't liked any of it since levits came back. i'm not in love with the stories or the characterizations.

and there's just too many questions and mess ups. like the fate five being rectcond.

I don 't really want to see Legion Lost cancelled. They could stay lost longer and take a long time getting home. I just want them off 21st century earth and rid of their crossovers with other DC titles. Give them good writing and great adventures and this diverse cast could make a great sci-Fi ensemble book traveling a few years through space and time before finally getting safely home. Just keep them true to their Legion roots and the series could really take off, but have them stuck on 21st earth with a thousand other super heroes living near by is just bad writing.

Yes. They've been transformed into the mundane and ordinary. Also, don't get me started on the lackluster adversaries.

This would be a great opportunity to have the Lost team visit various times between the 21st and 31st century as they try to stumble home in a broken time machine. Pretty much wide open territory for writers.

Heck yeah! There's tons of potential for adventures between the 'current day' and the 'Legion future!'

One crossover such a storyline would enable would be them running into the old Atari Force team in the 23rd century. Having the Legion Lost crew mingle with Martin Champion, Tempest, Dart, Blackjack, Taz, Babe and Morphea would be an interesting storyline and allow for the comeback of a great Sci-Fi series.

Put me on board for a story about the LL crew bouncing through the next 1000 years on their way home....so much more potential than this Generic Superhero Team #35 thing they've got goin' on at the moment...

Atari Force is, of course, a licensed property.

Atari Force was also a DC series that could be revived or visited if DC really wanted to go there. It might make an interesting marketing move if the idea were ever tried. If the Legion can team up with Star Trek, it can team up with Atari Force.

The main appeal of the Legion for me (at least in part) over the past 30 plus years has been their "stand alone" quality! I don't mind the "lost" aspect and not actually being in the 31st century, but enough with the cross overs with 21st century books I too have no intention of collecting!!! The Legion Lost characters could very well have been "lost" in a 31st century alternate universe and still have the "lost" quality story line(s)...probably even better! Time to bring them "home" before Lost gets cancelled. They don't belong in the 21st century!

Leave Yera and Timber Wolf in the 21st Century....send the rest of the team back to rejoin the Legion. Cancel this title and replace it with a Legion Acedemy series!

And we all know people are gonna start speculating on just why Chemica Kid was rejecting Dragonwing's advances way way waaaaaay back at the start of the series!

I don't mind if Chemical Kid is revealed to be gay, I just don't want Jan, in a mentor/teacher capacity to be using that position to have a sexual relationship with him.

Anything else is a betrayal of trust that can be incredibly damaging, gay or straight, imo.


I'd love to see the LOST run into the Wanderers/Legionnaires. Gates should decide to stay with them.
I don't want to leave Brin in the past, and I'd certainly like the group to pick up Drura and bring her with them on their journey to the future.

perhaps it has something to do with both of them having similar powers..hmmmm? I'd actually like to see more of the seniors working with the freshman class. And it seem if Brainy is so intelligent he would design a system to create best case battle scenarios and be able to pick the best team for the needed job.

Chem Kid is a mess and most needful of what Jan can teach at a human level. Powers are secondary but also a convenient reason to write them together.

It would be nice if Jan also tried to impart some of the Legion's code and values to Chem. Maybe try to give him an appreciation of the Legion's greatest accomplishments, and the legacies of the fallen (especially Chemical King)!
