Here\'s the article. The 2nd printing cover will be a B&W sketch of Jim Lee's variant cover of Saturn Girl. On sale June 23.

That is good news. I'm reasonably confident that sales won't drop off like a lead balloon like they did after issue #1 of the Threeboot. Because just face it if the LSH doesn't succeed with Paul Levitz at the helm it won't succeed with anyone.

I plan to hold this over Paul Levitz' head later on when I need my copy signed. (It's already covered in coffee rings, but I'm going to have an autograph pen filled with Sepia ink, so that shouldn't matter.) Also the fact that I had to dodge hailstones the size of driveway gravel to buy the damn thing.
Hey, Kids! My "Cranky and Kitschy" collage art is now viewable on ipernity! Drop by and tell me that I sent you. *updated often!*

Yet ANOTHER chance to get an actual group pic of the Legion on their first #1 in ages sabotaged by that panel-hog Imra.
Is there ANYONE on Earth who liked the coloured version of the Jim Lee cover so much that they would want to buy another one in B&W?
I NEVER buy second-copies of issues I already own but I would have made an exception in this case if it meant getting a better Legion cover than just a villain's hand (or the ubiquitous Imra). I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Good to see the LoSH#1 getting a second printing but still... missed opportunity!

I really liked Jim Lee's cover, but wasn't able to score a copy. I'm glad that I'll have a chance to get some version of it. And I enjoyed the first issue enough that I'm willing to spend a bit of extra cash to support the series.

This news is encouraging for sure! To have to go to a second printing means the demand for this issue is great, and that is such a positive thing for us Legion lovers. The variant covers are great and all but the lasting effects of a well done comic book are what matters, and a second printing of #1, well that makes me so happy. Is this a first for any previous Legion run? I think it is.
