2. Violet is a treat these days, isn't she? However, spitting on Micro Lad's corpse is totally in character for how she's acted since getting out of that stasis tank. Still, I wish she would soften up a little, but I doubt that's going to happen.
Especially now that she's been tainted by the Emerald Eye!

Got it this weekend - I'm glad that we've got the Durlan assassin thing out of the way, I'm getting a lot more enjoyment out of this LSV storyline, and there is more for the team to do.
Re: complaints about the treatment of the women in this issue...I am inclined to agree. Vi's response to Micro Lad makes perfect sense and I don't have an issue with it, but when taken with Brainy's treatment of Dawnstar, Jo and Wildfire's treatment of Ayla, Tinya defending them and Dream Girl being a blubbering mess...doesn't really paint a pretty picture. :\
Something else else else that is really beginning to bug me is the lack of thought Levitz is putting into how powers work. Timber Wolf coming out of a fight with Sun Emperor with only minimal burning, the thing from Tyroc's first appearance where he used sonics in a vaccuum, Tinya not using her intangibility when she should be, Saturn Queen scratching Sun Killer, Saturn Queen holding on to that warden while Mekt electrocuted him without the electricity conducting...in the overall scheme of things this stuff doesn't completely destroy my enjoyment of a story, but it is kind of annoying, especially when it's so easily circumvented.
Thoughts?

Actually that a good point. I was irritated by Timber Wolf not getting burned by Sun Emperor but missed the fact that Saturn Queen took hold of a burning sun killer without even reacting. Also, how do you make flames bleed?

Who is the person memorialized in the pedestal when we first see Timber Wolf in Japan? The interlac doesn't seem to make sense, assuming I remember my letters. Second line looked like YAPV?

[/b]Well, their song seems to loose something in the translation!
A singin' and a dancin' along the way.

That's what they're singing in the MST3K version of the movie.

Ahhh. Good ole favorite comedy of all time! That's where I saw it in the first place. Mothra, that is.
Edit: Or DID I? Because I don't remember that translation even as a jog my memory thingy. sigh

Read it, liked it well enough. LOVE Hdr's artwork.
