I'll go so far as to declare the new LSH officially SHARKJUMPED if they kill off Mon in favor of Yat.

Guys I don't mean to throw rain on anyone's parade. It was just speculation on my part. Please don't let me put a damper on your excitment for the relaunch, I share the excitement.
FWIW, this relaunch of the Legion is set up beautifully(aside from those crappy costume redesigns). I guess that's what is making me nervous about it :lol

Oh no you're not raining on my parade or anything, I think the Mon-El concerns are valid though (esp. in light of an upcoming Mon-El memorial statue cover I saw somewhere...)

I actually don't mind Mon-El dying (though the traditionalist in me would prefer he fly off to explore uncharted regions of space), but killing him to replace him with Yat is unacceptable.

Okay. From what I've gathered, James Robinson has said that Mon had to be returned to the PZ in the Superman books, to set up his Legion future.
Levitz has said that someone had 10 fingers instead of 9...Shady. Why? The conspiracy never happened in this timeline, or at least not how it happened before. Thus Mon was never gravely wounded, Shady never cut her finger off in a show of support for him. Mon did not die at the end of the Magic Wars as showed in the initial run.
He was shown good as ever in LoTW right alongside Shady.
\No worries unless Levitz really does have it in for him...
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Are you sure about this part? I mean yes it does makes sense of course, but Johns pretty clearly meant for this Legion to pick up from the Crisis more or less whereas Levitz seems intent on picking up from the very end of his run including the Magic Wars... I don't see any way this Legion can be picked up from the end of the Levitz run, the main reason being of course is that Mon-El is alive. However if he becomes dead...

I don't see Mon-El's being alive as that big a deal, continuity-wise. His fate's left fairly ambiguous during the Magic Wars. Sure, he is pronounced dead, but it's at least conceivable he could easily be resuccitated once science starts working again, or his death can be explained as a result of Magic Wars-induced equipment failure.

[/b] I'm curious as to why this isn't an Archive Edition, not that I'm complaining since it's about 10 bucks cheaper than an Archive Edition would be. I also think that should read "post-World War I Midwest"

I don't see any way this Legion can be picked up from the end of the Levitz run, the main reason being of course is that Mon-El is alive. However if he becomes dead...All it takes is somthing along the lines of what they did with the 5YL stories with Glorith destroying Daxam, and setting up the conspiracy there. This is just my best guess as to why Shady has 10 digits and Mon El is still alive and kicking.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.
