Not to cut the Imra 'do discussion short (I cannot seem to avoid these puns!), but let's add another hairdo to the mix: Timber Wolf! As far as I'm concerned, Brin Londo's hair has been as interesting and varied as Imra's. Even more than Imra, Timber Wolf is a character literally defined by his hairdo: Adventure 1970s (Cockrum Design) 1980s

Here is what a real timber wolf looks like:

Thoughts on Timber Wolf's coiffures:
--goes without saying that Brin's 'dos directly signify how human/feral he's feeling --it's kinda hard to make a human look much like a wolf. There's that whole canine snout, naked rhinarium and ears on the top of the head thing. This is perhaps why I've never been to crazy about the really feral Brins, like Reboot and Animated -- no one has really been able to do Cockrum's Brin Londo correctly, and now I'm not sure the look will work anymore because of Cockrum's subsequent work on the more popular Wolverine (in picking a 'do, you don't want to be accused of copying, especially if you're Brin Londo) --Reboot Timber Wolf's hair style looks ripped off from the Bride of Frankenstein, a real 'do trendsetter, but probably NOT the look Brin Londo would go for.

I was actually surprised by how excited I was to see a human Brin in the 3boot. No pointy hair, just a dude and a regular 'do.

Love it, Rhino! I've always wondered why noone really did a more explicit werewolf take on Timber Wolf.
Lash, I liked 3Boot Brin more than I expected, too. I think his look worked for that story, because the society of the 3Boot was a caricature of the 1950s, very proper and repressed. So, you could be non-comformist with a leather trench and a 'tude--you didn't need Wolverine hair. Brin was the Beat of the 3Boot Legion, and therefore probably the handsomest, and Barry's design for him was awesome.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned Tyroc yet. Although he no longer has hair any more.
