I think I chose Computo as a Brainy substitue. I wouldn't have picked ANY of the Khunds, . Veilmist was/is too disruptive and I don't like what she brings out in others, either. I much prefer Sensor to Jeckie, I'm afraid. The Naga is so much more interesting, imo. Umbra wasn't a choice, so I went with Shady, but her Prme and retro boot characterizations have really soured me on the character. I also wanted Quislet, Gear, Lu, Zoe and Dreamy, but couldn't fit them in.
A singin' and a dancin' along the way.

I found some categories easy, and some painfully difficult. Having to choose between Gates, XS, Gear and Shikari for my wild cards was awfully hard. I ended up with both Veilmist and Gates because Veilmist was the only Khund Legionnaire I found tolerable. I did forget about Flederweb, though.
I wonder what versions posters would choose?
Click Here For A Spoiler 1. Saturn Girl 2. Phantom Girl 3. Brainiac 5 4. Chameleon Boy 5. Andromeda 6. Shrinking Violet 7. Element Lad 8. Karate Kid 9. Shadow Lass 10. Wildfire 11. White Witch 12. Polar Boy 13. Nightwind 14. Infectious Lass 15. Impulse (Kent) 16. Kono 17. Veilmist 18. Computo 19. Kinetix 20. Kid Quantum II 21. Theena 22. Chameleon Girl 23. Chemical Kid 24. Gates 25. XS
I ended up with 16 gals and 9 guys. I would have happily tossed out Kent, Veilmist, Theena and Chemical Kid for Jeckie, Dream Girl, Shikari and Garth, though. I love Theena, but would be happy with her on support staff.
My choice between Jazmin and Shikari eventually went to Jaz because I liked her characterization and felt she had more unusual powers, whereas the Legion could grab any Kwai as their guide. In hindsight though, pathfinding is awfully useful.
I also picked Jeckie before Val, then thought that I lacked close-range fighters, and felt that Imra could replicate Jeckie's powers to a degree.

Superman X, Variable Lad and Porcupine Pete, with their zero votes, are going to go off and form their own team, The Legion of Super-Zeroes!

Voting closed yesterday! The results were a lot of fun to watch and I want to thank everybody for participating!
What I really enjoyed more than the final results was who was actually ahead for different parts of the week. For the first few days, I recall Tyroc had twice as many votes as either Dawnstar or Wildfire. Andromeda led the Super cousin pack at first. All the threeboot kids and SW6 kids (save for Kid Quantum I) were tied for the first few hours which I thought was kind of neat to see. From the 90s and early 2000s, it looks like the females tend to be more memorable/useful than their male counterparts. No matter how hard they tried, Superman X, Variable Lad, and Porcupine Pete still didn't get any love. Maybe another reality, guys!
So, it looks like Legion World's DCNu Legionnaires would be:
01. Saturn Girl 02. Phantom Girl 03. Chameleon Boy 04. Brainiac 5 05. Mon-El 06. Sun Boy 07. Element Lad 08. Princess Projectra 09. Shadow Lass 10. Wildfire 11. White Witch 12. Polar Boy 13. (TIE!) Nightwind and Power Boy 14. Infectious Lass 15. Impulse (Kent) 16. Spider-Girl 17. Veilmist 18. Computo 19. XS 20. Kid Quantum II 21. Gazelle 22. Night Girl 23. Chemical Kid 24. Dream Girl (Wild Card) 25. Ultra Boy (Next highest Wild Card, as Brainy and Jan made the roster proper)

Hmmm, I wonder how many people were voting for Jeckie as Sensor Girl, and not as old Princess Projectra?
Some of the margins are also interesting. Kono only lost to Spider-Girl by one vote; while poor Lightning Lad only had 5 votes total!
And plenty of ties for 4 wild card votes (just 1 vote behind Ultra Boy)
Chameleon Boy (got in) Lightning Lad Dawnstar Mon-el (got in) Shrinking Violet Wildfire (got in)

Dawnstar
Interestingly, Dawnstar had more total votes than Ultra Boy, even though she didn't get in. If a couple of those who voted for her in her own category had voted for her instead as a wild card, she would've been in! One of my voting criteria was a preference not to split up couples, if possible. So once I knew that, I knew that if I voted for Tinya, then I was also voting for Jo, and that the only founder I was gonna get was Rokk (since I wasn't gonna have both Garth and Imra). No Thom meant no Dreamy. Such pain!
And I still had to break my rule, by picking Mysa without Blok and Gravity Kid without Power Boy.
So hard to pick and choose!

One thing I've enjoyed about running this poll has been the discussion that's followed. I've liked learning what various people's criteria has been for assembling their teams.
