I can only hope that it is an early production copy and not the actual one. Guess we'll find out next weekend (assuming any of us gets to a tournament).

Anyone going to the 12/03 Los Angeles Pre-Release? (it's actually in the OC but counts as LA) I'm pretty sure that is the one I am going to

Collector I am, if I had the time off of work I'd consider driving to LA just to play (even though I don't know how).

It's a fun game and a lot easier to take with you than a suitcase of heroclix.... though that game was a gamer fangirls dream

I wanted to go to the Berkeley one but I had class plus I didn't know how to play and that company running the previews posted somewhere that knowledge of the Vs. was kinda mandatory.

Wow. The continuity of those cards makes my head spin. No Shikari or Invisible Kid that I remember, but I could have just forgotten them.

Funny, I thought this must have been so long in development that they were stuck with the previous version, but it's clear they've incorporated some of the current take.

Thanks for the updated link to the database Ken. Last I checked he only had the card text and no images.

Look at Star Boy for an example. Sure looks like current continuity to me.

Plus Bouncing Boy, Ol-vir, and the Legion of Super Pets. It's crazy!

They tend to take from all over not just current continuity. I missed the preview because of aseries of unfortunate events, but I have asked Santa for a box under the tree.

well a full box has just turned up in my store.

when i asked the price I fell an overwhelming need to sit down.

They want some £54 (sterling) for the box and give LL's comments on not getting all the cards etc I am in two minds wheather to buy one.

Once the cartoon figures start turning up I am going to go broke very quickly.

Wow it's 54 pounds like $100 US? You might want to try eBay and get it sent to you in the UK? Does this mean it's out in stores here too? Anybody?

I paid $54 US on eBay. That store price is insane. But brick and mortar stores aren't the best place for CCG and collectible figure games. That's why WizKids started doing rare figures for those who bought special brick packs only from a regular store.

I have not seen the box sets on e bay what search are you using (just in case i am looking in the wrong place as usual )

I think given the price difference I will have to try the e bay route.

Darden, I'm just using Vs Legion in my searches. Always comes up with five or six auctions for the cards. If you see some you want, let me know. I'm sure I can ship them cheaper than they'd charge you.
