I like how the comic has been answering the "whatever happened to" questions the main book didn't address or didn't address much, such as the Green Lantern Corps, Paradise Island and the immortal amazons, and now the Thanagarians. I thought it was really cool when DnA brought in R'as Al Ghul -- I was surprised no one else had thought of it.

I look forward to seeing the real cover.

Do you know what stores will be selling the comic books?

Well, you can find comic book stores near you with a store locator , but you'll have to ask the store itself if they carry them (or will order them in for you). Especially if you're in a smaller city - the larger places tend to get just about everything, but the smaller ones can't really support that. (Which makes splitting your comics shopping days between one and the other really annoying, but I digress.)

This was an extremely good comic book that deserves to receive much attention from Superman fans in particular. More people should be buying this title!

This was a very good issue. Wish there was a 'tad' more Legion, but there were just some great Supes moments and some great Legion bits. I especially like when they are training and Element Lad tackles Lightning Lad, to me that just symobized how much fun the Legionnaires were having and that really none of them but Lightning Lad were taking it seriously.

I likewise wish there was more Legion involvement. I always let myself forget that a roll call shot at the start could mean just a two panel cameo. Still great how this title gives us a look at everyone though, even those usually in the background.

If I had to get a Legion issue that was Superman-centric, I'm glad for once in my life it was a peek at his life in the 21st century. When it comes to the 'toon, it's an aspect of this version of Clark we likely never would have been given a look at. It was a nice bridge to the 'novice' he was in the first season and showed he had really shaped into the confident hero we'd see more of in season two.

Lois was very cute in this, and it was refreshing for whatever reason to get a new look at Superman's early days at the Planet. I'm interested to see where the Brainiac angle plays out, especially if it parallels at all with what happened in the cartoon.

Interesting to see Jan's costume in a white/black scheme again. I like it, though I do miss the pink. What can I say? Jan rocks it.

I loved this issue! Did anyone catch the bit where Perry said that "Chloe" was out of town on assignment? wink
And I, too, felt there wasn't enough Legion, but I'm sure they'll make up for it in the next issue.

Then again, didn’t the comic-book store open early on weekends?
Bart dashed off in a hurry.
Within seconds he was back. Not that early, I guess.

I'm hoping to see more of Element Lad and Sun Boy in the upcoming issues. I've really liked the look of long-hair and black-sclera for this version of Sun Boy, as well as the dare-devil attitude. I'm curious to see what they make of Element Lad, who's traditional origin should make him a challenge for a kids' book. Krypton is rough, but the Trom story is grim, even for adult.

I'm also hoping to see more of the other characters that we've glimpsed in the show. I'm pretty sure that I saw Chemical King in one of the group shots. Maybe he and many others can find guest space in the book?
