I can kind of see it as a amalgamation of Justice Society and Infinity Inc. So logically it makes sense. And I can see the Upper-ups at Dc wanting a different name so there would be no confusion between the two Justice Societies. But aesthetically it just doesn't work. It seems awkward and forced. And I suspect that fans will just call the team Earth-2 Justice Society (which is what I'll be calling them) or JSI.

At first I thought you meant the JSI Dr. Midnight but then I flipped the book open to look at the group pic and I saw who it was you were asking about. I have no idea, she's totally new to me.

I've missed a piece or two of the total story so I could have missed it but since Gary's followed the whole thing and doesn't know either I don't feel quite so slow.

Maybe it's Anti-<strike>Lad</strike>Lass?

I think it is a first appearance for Hourgirl or Hourlass or Hourwoman or whatever name Geoff thinks up for her. She's not in any prior issue I've seen! Wierd to have her, since Rick existed on Earth-2 before Crisis. Doesn't Rick have a cousin who runs Tylerco right now, Becky or something like that? Maybe that's her.

Geoff said on his Board that it is indeed Rebecca Tyler as Hourgirl - but I have no idea why she's been included in that pic instead of Rick.

I know that Sandy is there in his 70s Kirby Sandman-inspired costume because he was apparently supposed to be an original member of Infinity Inc. and Ordway had even designed this costume for him before he got dropped.

Maybe the same was true for Hourgirl?

That's Sandy Hawkins? I thought it was the Kirby Sandman from the 70s. What was his name? Dan Garrett? Looked it up Garrett Sanford.

Maybe this has been discussed and I missed it, but it struck me as odd that Star Boy returned to the Legion just in time to be sent back in time by the Brainiac 5s. The way that partricular passage is worded, it seems to strike Star Boy's entire Legion career after his Sir Prize return.

Not a fan of JSI either. Did they really [b]need

Johns could have called them Justice Legion of the World and had a nice homage to their creation. Or maybe even the Justice Centurions of America?
