I have one small complaint: she's a bit too stacked to be Violet. Salu Digby has always been depicted as being, well, let's just say "slimmer" up top.

And I'd prefer not to see her outfit colored green and purple. Either of these colours would be fine seperately, but not together, IMO.

This minor nit-picking aside, however, I think that the new Shrinking Violet looks great! And I love her guns, too.

I honestly think that's Nura. Can't think who else it could be.

My first thought was Brin (but I believe he has brown eyes still) and that she had gone with him to "Otherspace" but she has to have been the "Brainy spy" that told him about Cos & crew's break in.

Brin did leave for "Otherspace" before the break in correct?

Personally, green and purple just don't work for me. On Brainy, it does. But on regular flesh-colored skin, it doesn't do it for me. I think though it does mirror her "allegiance" to Brainy. Perhaps Brainy's people based their shrink-tech on Violet's race's inherent abilities? That could be the link between them...

Is she Brainy's experiment, or something? Maybe the Imskians are all tiny and were discovered by shrunken Coluans who visit Imsk to escape the hustle and bustle of nerd life. Who knows, maybe B5 visited and they had a teenaged summer fling at the resort.

Seriously we're sure Brainy likes to trade technology for favours as in Brin's case. Maybe this is the root of Ultra Boy's distrust of him. Vi owes Brainy because she rebelled against her planet's rules. So Brainy gave her tech that let her leave Imsk and grow to human size.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ah.....thanks Barry! But....I have to wait 3-4 months to see her! argh that's killing me for sure...but nonetheless, I am very happy to know that Violet is not a myth! Hooray!!!!

The costume may be green/purple just for the cover or for short term. Many of Barry's sketches appeared green/black. Didn't we see her on colored artwork in green/black.

Only problem is that all the black on the person's eye behind her would make it all funky. Not sure green/black would've worked on the cover.

But I don't care for green/purple. That color is for villains. Or Brainy...or Hulk. Who are almost villains.

Also does she look asian to anyone else? That would be nice. Asian only make up most Earth's population ya think we'd have atleast one on the team.

Hi Barry - yeah she appeared in silhouette in the previous issue...but what's important is that we get to see her in color and gracing on the cover for the first time. now....the issue is...who is the legionnaire holding her?

Actually, she's been among the silhouettes since #2 - the issue that started the silhouettes.

Okay, so which Legionnaires know about her existence? Brainy's pretty much a given, but who else? And I guess it was Brainy who planted the rumor about Atom Girl so everyone would end up thinking she was a prank? Or was it someone else?

I can only guess another Brainy agent...Lonewolf knows about her.

It'll be interesting to see if she's actually affected events in past issues without our knowledge! (it'd be interesting if that were the case, but it reminds me of the last "Heroes for Hire" series where Ant-Man was an unseen member for several months)
