So, a lot of people aren't fans of Earth Man on the team, but if one Legion villain were going to join the team, who would you choose?

Nemesis Kid, easily. If they bring KK back, then it is fair to bring NK back as well.

Ben Pares. The team is seriously lacking in 'stache power right now and he could balance it out.

The Time Trapper. Oh, that's right, he's ALREADY on the team! My bad.

So many have had face-heel turns anyway.
Danielle / Computo II, Spider-Girl and Mekt have had moments on both sides of the fence, in various continuities. Nemesis Kid even got to play hero in the cartoon (as did Ron-Karr, for that matter, and if his comic-book powers were ever expanded upon to allow him to flatten to monomolecular scale, and cut through stuff, he could be an interesting failed-hero turned failed-villain, giving the hero thing another shot, since he was a pretty sad villain anyway).
I'm a big fan of Lazon. I wish he'd been the Super-Assassin to switch teams, and not Blok.
Given his interactions with the rest of the team, what his technology did to Orando, and how his race have treated Tellus' people, Zymyr would be an very dramatic choice... He wouldn't be my first choice (particularly with Gates already hanging around), but if there were no Gates, and no Earth-Man, he would certainly have captured the same 'OMG, they let *who* in?' flavor, for us old-timers.
So yeah, in decreasing order of preference; Lazon, Ron-Karr, Zymyr.

I would go with Quicksand, too.

I would go with Hywyndr the Elemental another member of Zymyr's species. I like the Quicksand suggestion as well.

Yeah, but we never saw the body. I'd like to see Charma team up with Apollo. Could be a blood bath.

Charma has a sister. . . She and Apollo WOULD be a good combo.
I vote for Quicksand.
And Starlight & Starbright, without Starfinger.

Ooh, I was thinking of them as well, although the pair of them are basic flying energy blasters (and possibly sentient energy-constructs?), and the team has a fair number of those already. Something else else to make them more unique would make them more compelling, IMO. (Not necessarily my idea of making them genies / ifrit.)

TYR is a favorite of mine, but I don't see him fitting in with the Legion as a member, maybe as the leader of his own team of bounty hunters.
I guess I'll go with Molecule Master, who could fill the Red Tornado/Vision/Data roll for the Legion.
I also like the idea of Quicksand as a member.
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.
