hahah i don't care how baby/old they look. considering how old lois looks and that clark is the hugest person in the world and like... 19... i'm not really going to complain.
i think imra looks nice, cos looks like a guy from babylon 5 and garth is dorky looking but cute. who cares! as long as they deliver some cool character!! i'd love to see a dweeby garth and slick cos! AS LONG AS THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

I'm wondering now .... is this a little window into Geoff Johns mind?
Because if it is, it would explain why Johnsboot Rokk looks so old, and Imra is an early-middle-aged matron married to a man who looks and acts like he's going through his second puberty.

This show has consistently used the West Coast of Canada acting pool over its life span. While British Columbia has a nice artistic community, this explains how Lana Lang of Kansas can be a dark-haired daughter of Indonesian Dutch and Chinese ex-pats with a west coast Canadian accent. Come to think, given the incoming US President's life story, the casting of Kristen Kreuk as all-american heartland cheerleader Lana Lang is kinda forward looking. Its obvious who the real leaders of the LSH are from the way that shot is set up if not the casting. Lightning Lad is right where Imra has kept her man since she stole that election all those years ago, two steps behind and in the dark when it comes to her professional decisions.

Agreed on liking the look of Imra and Rokk, but not so much Garth. I am just tickled pink to see them on my screen, even if I have to wait until next freaking year...

Loving the choice of Alexz Johnson as Saturn Girl. You guys will not be disappointed with this girl. She's a singer and somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine...and she's also a really solid actress who I think will be perfect for Imra. You guys should also check out some of her music...she has an album coming out in the Spring, I believe.

Kryptonsite has a new and clearer image from TV Guide http://www.kryptonsite.com/legiontvg.htm "Imra" reminds me a lot of 3boot Saturn Girl but the two guys aren't very close to how I imagine a "real life" Garth and Rokk.

Thanks for the link to the TV guide pic Tromium, I think they all look pretty good myself actually. Maybe once we see them all talking and moving around in the upcoming episode they will "look" more like what we hope the real-live action Legion might be. JANUARY 15 IS TOO LONG TO WAIT! AARRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! ;-)

Am I the only one who's going to watch this hoping for a chance to work on her MST skills ?

Apparently the answer is "yes."

Apparently the answer is "yes." Oh, there's definitely going to be enough odiferous cheese here for a MST 3008 reunion. I guess it's time to reactivate my cute little robot sidekick.

I think you're allowed two sidekicks. Possibly three. Y'know, one for each Legionnaire.

Merry Christmas, Legionworld. Some new "Legion" photos from Kryptonsite. http://www.kryptonsite.com/legiongallery1.htm Is it just me, or does "Saturn Girl" look likes she's trying to shoot herself in the head? EDIT: Link fixed.

Love that shot where Garth looks like he's making fun of Clark's sports' jacket.
Dude, you and your pals are still wearing pleather in the 31st century. If I were you, I wouldn't throw stones. [snerk]

Great Legion Rings but I can't believe they made the actress do that old, two fingers to the temple thing.
Where is it written that you can't read minds with your hands in your pockets?

Muscular actors are a dime a dozen in Hollywood and sometime they may LOOK the part, but once they open their mouths and don't ACT the part it's very easy to lose interest quickly from then on. I hope the actor does the Fatal Five proud. Maybe then we might see the rest of the Five in future episodes!

The main reason I'm watching Smallville this season is for the Legion episode. Now that I've seen the previews I fear it all. I want it to be good but these actors look like the One Tree Hill cast of LSH. The actress playing Saturn Girl has a lame shot of her touching her head. Lightning Lad looks like he belongs in a peanut butter commercial and Cosmic Boy looks like a bad Keanu Reeves imitator. I am hoping for a passable episode at the very least. But thus far the episodes have been so weak. Will Geoff Johns save it? Can he save Smallville?
We are Legion!
