Oh, I also wanted to say something about Element Lad's costume. I wonder why they changed it for the comic? Everyone else looks like their animated version.

He could have changed it himself. You know Element Lad-- "The only constant is change." Or it could be a nod to Kyle and his costume-changing ways. Okay, so maybe I'm reaching a little...

Oh, they're probably preparing Element Lad to be the overarching villain of Season 3.
Seriously, though ...
It was a decent, compact story. I always love "here comes the cavalry" scenes, and BB and LL ramming Starro with the ship was a pretty good climax. The art was all right -- I liked the splash page of Jordana smashing through the cruiser's hull.
But there was something missing in this issue -- I can't place my finger on it. Whatever the Infectious Lass and Brainy on Colu issues had, I want more of it, and less of this. Maybe the J. Torres' stories don't grab me as much as those written by other creators. He doesn't capture the voices of the characters or the tone of the cartoon very well, imo -- it's like reading about a different Legion than the one on TV.

Liked this issue. I agree the "heart" that was in the Infectious Lass and Brainy issues wasn't here. but we got a well crafted team-up issue which worked just as well. I really enjoyed seeing the Legion take on the GLC and figure out how to stop Starro. There seemed to be a nice couple of panels showing the Legionnaires using their unique powers which is always nice.
As mentioned above, the BB and LL ramming Starro scene was cute. As was the comment that Brainy, just because he has a 12th level intellect, doesn't mean he is devoid of emotion and compassion for his teammates. Maybe a dig at 3boot Brainy, maybe not, but I for one enjoy an emotionally rounded Brainy.
Long Live the Legion!

Finally got my comics! This was great fun, IMO. Love having a ton of characters to scrutinize!
Jordana's a doll, and is already in demand for Holo Model competitions in Bits!!!
