Yeah, I agree Seymour and LLP. I thought it was supposed to be a ripcord (is that the right phrase?) to yank Clark into the 31st century.)Sounds to me like a writer (Caroline Dries) and/ or an editor dropped the ball. It is ironic that the they used the ring, as something Clark said it was too tempting to do, as the plot device to solve the problem. I knew the reveal wouldn't last, I was just hoping it wouldn't be " Wow, Chloe, I had the weirdest dream." By the way, I totally forgot about the episode and saw the latest on this thread and went "Aw, Dangit!" I went to Youtube and watched it 10 mins at a time. I started watching Smallville in Season 2, and have all the DVD's. And I like the thought of Clark and Lois together. Never could stand Clark and Lana. She turned him into mush and the whole situation stunk. There, I've said it. I'm STILL a Smallville fan. I just take it with a grain of salt. Sue me.
Long Live all them Legions!

hahhaha clark's so stupid. i like how lana took it REALLY REALLY WELL and he concluded, SOMEHOW, that "yeah i can NEVER tell lana :/". she took it in the best POSSIBLE manner, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.
and then he destroyed the ring.
whatever, whatever, we've already been promised legion in the next season. either clark will remember that he never got around to destroying the ring, or the legion will show up and be like "GUESS WHAT YOU OWE US LIKE, 700,000 IN CREDS THAT DON'T EXIST YET BECAUSE YOU DESTROYED A TIME TRAVELING RING, CAVEMAN!"
edit--OH! and i love how chloe or lana or whomever was TELLING HIM SOMETHING SUPER IMPORTANT and he jsut stared at her really vapidly and used the ring.
what if someone was pregs, clark?! THEN WHAT? what if there had secretly been some naked dude in your arctic fortress and she'd just come to tell you about it?? OH WAIT THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. oh my god, what a jerk, i would have slipped him a kryptonite mickie.

I don't remember him saying that, but maybe it was implied since that was what happened with 'the puddle'. I love veryverys idea of the destruction of the ring causing the Legion to come back to collect! Since I read an interview that explains Smallvilles 'Elseworld' status, the Legion ring functioning as a general time machine doesn't bother me, really. Clark leaving something that incredible in a box in his barn, does, though. If I had a devise like that, I'd NEVER take it off! Somebody stealing it would be a moot point. I MEAN, they flew to the North Pole with them at the same speed that Clark could run ( ), and didn't need help with the cold! 'Goof' is too kind of a word for his lack of brains.

Tori Spelling with a legion flight ring.
Does one really need to analyze any further before realizing that this episode was a masterpiece?

TV Guide states that a "kid from the Legion" will appear in the finale! What if it's Garth, and he dies? That would definitely gurantee more screen time for our favorite heroes!

the Legion flight ring appears very prominantly. Some time travelling perhaps?

Just saw the season 8 Legion episode for the first time and was delighted.
Can't wait for the big reveal that Smallville is set on Earth Prime and that Tom Welling will be Superman Prime(time). Seems obvious , what with Geoff Johns writing some scripts.

They've got a group of youngish Kandorian clones for any of that Prime stuff. Lois is the only one who time traveled and she only went a year or two or three, I can't remember exactly. Clark DOES wear black, though.

They're making Superman into a deepr darker character. Problem with that is, he's not. That's what makes him Superman. He's NOT a dark character, despite whatever darkness he's put into. If it seems cheesy and out of place, so be it, because Superman is a positive down-home go-getter.
Smallville's "red and blue blur" is not.

And apparantly now it's a "black blur", which goes just as well in the Elseworld's underpants as it does on television.

Question...I've seen some episodes with Ollie and the like. When did the guest stars start showing up. I may pick up those seasons.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

It seems like the last 3 or 4 seasons.
Brainiac first appeared when Lana and Chloe were in their last year of college, if I remember correctly. He was a teacher there, anyway.
We saw Aquaman pretty early on, too. He and Lois had a thing.
Ollie and Lois went out for about a year, too. Then Ollie's Justice League started forming with Aquaman, Impulse/Flash, Black Canary and Cyborg, I think.
Martian Manhunter from at least 2 years ago. Supergirl, too.
I'd check back 5 years and go from there. But that's just me. Time flies.

Yeha. They're like 15 dollars a season at some stores, so I figure it might be worth it. Especially the Season with the Legion, and the newest season that will have the JSA. When that eventually comes out.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

That's a great deal! I can hardly wait for JSA, too.
Unfortunately, Tess and the Kandorian clones are leaving me a little impatient for them to be done with. sigh
