That and stuff like escorting Dominion ambassadors or accompanying U.P. ambassadors on sensitive missions...

Besides his political experience/talent/connections, one should not underestimate the potential importance that Tenzil's ability to eat anything might have in diplomatic situations.

Oh, I know. But his political life has never been played for anything *but* laughs, with the possible exception of when he was first drafted.

Which means a serious take on it would make for a good story, wouldn't it?

Upon further thought, the LSH itself is sort of its own Diplomatic Squad... "hands across the universe" and all that...
Exactly.

So. Does the LSH now need to recruit a member from both Khundia and ELia?

Getting a member from those historically warlike planets would be a coup!

Food for reflection...

definition of diplomacy:

1. international relations: the management of communication and relationships between nations by members and employees of each nation's government
2. skill in international dealings: skill in managing communication and relationships between nations
3. tact: skill and tact in dealing with other people

That'd fit right in with Earth-man. (From the UP's POV, if not the LSH's.)

Great point about Sun Boy. And we know he's able to turn on the charm when he needs to but can be cutthroat as well, which is a must in politics.

This is such a great idea, must have missed it first time around. I think Element Lad would be a good choice, he's calm and intelligent, Trom is no more so he could be seen as neutral. Other than that Dreamy and Tellus would make sense, and if a show of force might be necessary then Mon-El would be a shoe in.

Legion Worlds NINE - wait, there's even more ongoing amazing adventures? Yup, and you'll only find them in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.
