Given that the thread title says {spoilers} do we have to discuss this one with the spoiler boxes? Bit cumbersome.

Well, there are two possibilities:

1) It was cut/redrawn because DC decided to do something different, and thus it's irrelevant, and ergo not a spoiler.
2) It was cut because, as the poster supposes, DC decided to hold it back to a future occasion. In which case it very much IS a spoiler, and not for the "JLA/JSA/Legion Crossover", because it played no part in it - and so spoiler boxes are required, since the warning in the thread title refers only to that.

"spoiler" refering only to a warning off of readers that don't want to know, not whether or not info inside is a spoiler, because there's no doubt about that now, so


1) All three teams inspired by Supes. That would be a rewrite for the post ZH Legion, but I could live with it.

2) Glorithverse seems to have lost the darwinist lottery, but I could live with it.

3) I most would look forward to Silver Legion's and WaK Legion's reaction to Gates!

I wouldn't. It's one of those "what's the point" changes that damages stuff without any benefit (A post-ZH-styled Koko's presence, incidentally, would put it after Team 20 - and work out how THAT works out in a universe where Veridium is meant to have been some sort of dream...)

It does look like the Legions of 7th grade, but Clark's age is in line with what they've shown in Action Annual and the flash back panels around the DCU lately.

It looks to me like a reference to the "Legion of Three Worlds" adventure that's already been mentioned in JSA at least.

It doesn't mean Superboy directly inspired each Legion here, just that he met them all.

How many pies do you think Ma Kent went through?

Too bad none of them remembers the meeting, except for Thom, because it looks like a helluva party. The Silver Age founders look older in the "wormhole" scene in Booster Gold #1, but it has a similar dorky charm.

Does this mean there's only one "superboy" in the Multiverse? That would come as a surprise.

I'm thinking that's XS's backside, lower left.

There are 52 Universes and that picture only represents Legions of 3 of them....2 of which never had serious ties to Kal-el, at least as far as we know....as has been well documented in their series. The Archie Legion had no deep ties to Kal-El and obviously the W&K doesn't either as far as we know.


It's also been shown that the main Earth is the key to the mulitverse and that is the Superboy of that Earth I am pretty sure....and this looks to be a muliversal crossover.

Well they were kind of inspired of Kon-El.

IMO, you could splice the Archie Legion into the uncharted early history of the TMK Legion with just a couple of minor tweaks.

I just know something big is going to happen...


Mon-El is in the LS Legion...but he's also in the W&K Legion...

Not in the slightest. They were "inspired by" (i.e., talked into it by Brande using) the JLA et al in toto (the four holos we saw were long-haired Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Wally-Flash, although there were implied to be more).

Kon was a member, but Leviathan & Cos, in particular, had real problems with him. They weren't "inspired by him" (no-one even knew who he was in Future Tense until Valor clued them in that he dropped him in the Stasis Zone).

It's really not worth arguing about to me...you obviously care about that version much more than I do...so whatever makes you happy.

Oh sure you could...they both have Mon-El and Laurel Gand replacing Superboy and Supergirl...which makes a lot more sense than splicing either one of them onto a continuity that features Superboy and Supergirl.

Plus they are the two least liked versions of the Legion...
