So if Mon-el was pulled out of the Phantom Zone to be the Seeder of worlds how is it that we have a Durlian running around in REBELS when there was no Durla until Mon-el "seeded" the world?
Did I open up a can of continuity questions or am I just really confused?

You haven't started anything new here. This has already been mentioned elsewhere. There has been no satisfactory answer as far as I am concerned. The Six Minute War, the origin of Starhaven, Mon El being removed prematurely from the PZ (then put back in with knowledge of the Legion he shouldn't have known of yet), the origin of the orange hominid form, all of these things have been changed around for the convience of writers that can not be bothered to work with what has already been established previously. Then you have Dream Girl's hair, Dr. Gym'll's arms, Tellus and Gates' appearances all inconsistent because the artists can not be bothered to take a minute or two to research what the characters are supposed to look like. Ulitmately I blame the editors that should prevent all of these issues, but I don't think they give a damn about any of it.

Most of the continuity issues that have popped up since the current version first appeared in 'The Lightning Saga' are adressed here: thread If there isn't an explination there then there hasn't been one yet.

I don't recall Durla being mentioned as one of the seeded worlds by Mon-El (Valor). In the original LEGION series there was a Durlan (later suggested to be Brande, who was swapped into the future for Phase). I thought the seeded worlds contained strictly human colonists with the Dominator-activated Meta-Gene.
Braal, Tharr, Bismoll, Carggg, Lythyl, Rimbor, Starhaven?, Dryad?, Titan?, some others.
Legion homeworlds such as Durla, Talok VII, Colu evolved with their own unique lifeforms. The timing of the six-minute war on Durla coincided during the 20th century on Earth. The true forms of Durlans before and after the event are subject to speculation and depend upon which version of tale you care to believe.

The 'seeding of te worlds' was first brought in durring the 5yl version of the Legion so itshouldn't have even wound up a part of this version. Similarly, the idea that 'The Durlan' which was swapped for Phase also came from that version. In the current version we have a contradiction caused by Levitz writing that Brande is responsible for the orange hominid form of the Durlans (having PAID to have it designed, no less) while Gates and Moore(? I think) had Cham place a bottled city full of Orange Hominid Durlans on a new world. It was this new home (Durla 2) which appearently went on to have the Six Minute War sometime in our near future which contradicts Levitz's original story that had the Six Minute War taking place durring the time of the Ancient Greeks. Also, Levitz has had the Durlans state that they developed their shape shifting powers dueto the war, but we have CeeGee in R.E.B.E.L.S that already has shapeshifting abilities. Furthermore, it was Levitz's (aforementioned) original story that established that the Durlans were already shapeshifters durring the time of the ancient Greeks when their war broke out. Contradiction heaped upon contradiction because the writers can not be bothered to make the effort to stick to a continuity when it is inconvinient to the story they want to tell NOW.
