This section is solely based on the work done by Chaim Keller in his Legion Help File. I will break it down, year by year, and include the issue notes as they are in the Help File. Should you find a discrepancy here or want to add to it, either PM me or e-mail me with the info.

January through December, 2973

1/5/73 - Imra Ardeen, Garth Ranzz and Rokk Krinn save the life of R. J. Brande (Superboy (1st series) # 147, Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 8).

1/6/73 - Brande persuades the three to become super-heroes. The take the names Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy, respectively and found the Legion of Super-Heroes. Cosmic Boy is chosen by computer to be the Legion's first leader (Superboy (1st series) # 147, Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 8).

1/10/73 - The Legion tries to arrest Doyle Brande for the attempted murder of R. J. Brande, but he escapes by using a jet-pack (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 8).

1/16/73 - The Legion catches Ambassador Lorval of Oianus stealing the Quintile Crystal, leading to their being officially deputized by the Science Police (DC Super-Stars # 17).

2/1/73 - The Legion holds its first tryout, in a public park, rejecting Arm-Fall-Off Boy, Mnemonic Kid and Fortress Lad, but unknowingly taking Fortress Lad as their first headquarters (Secret Origins (2nd series) # 46).

2/11/73 - The Legion stops a fire and meets a time-lost Superman, who disappears in a subsequent explosion (Adventures of Superman # 476, Action Comics # 663).

3/3/73 - Luornu Durgo escorts the three Legionnaires to their clubhouse and becomes the first non-charter member, Triad. While the Legionnaires are testing her, Tinya Wazzo slips into their clubhouse and is admitted as Phantom Girl (Superboy (1st series) # 147, Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 8).

3/30/73 - The Legion stops the mad android Lucifer 7 and captures the Concentrator (
Secrets of the Legion of Super-Heroes # 1).

4/2/73 - Phantom Girl discovers that the Eyth system, which had been believed destroyed by Lucifer 7, was actually transported to the Phantom Zone and the Legionnaires find a way to rescue it (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 8).

7/10/73 - Colossal Boy, Chameleon Boy and the first Invisible Kid join; Calcu-Lad is among those rejected (Legion of Super-Heroes (2nd series) # 39, Who's Who in the Legion of Super-Heroes # 1).

8/15/73 - Kid Quantum joins.

8/23/73 - Several Darkstars invade the Time Institute to stop experiments to view the beginning of the universe; a law is passed barring Darkstars from operating on Earth (Legion of Super-Heroes (1st series) # 295).

9/5/73 - Laurel Gand and Brainiac 5 join; Bouncing Boy, Sun Boy and Shrinking Violet are rejected (Action Comics # 276, Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 9).

9/18/73 - The Legion, acting on a tip from Chameleon Boy's spy network, tracks down Doyle Brande and captures him and some Khunds (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 9).

10/24/73 - Saturn Girl stops the menace of the Positive Man, and the Legion is kidnaped and imitated by Durlan Chameleon Men (Action Comics # 287).

11/2/73 - Saturn Girl returns to Earth and covers several crimes for the Chameleon Men imitating the Legion (Action Comics # 287).

11/3/73 - Saturn Girl is banished to the Phantom Zone by the Chameleon Men (Action Comics # 287).

11/4/73 - Saturn Girl escapes and defeats the Chameleon Men (Action Comics # 287).

12/4/73 - The three founding members travel to the past and bring the legendary Valor to the thirtieth century, where he is made to fail some tests and is initiated to part-time "time-commuter" membership, as the true test was to see if he would take the failures gracefully, or make excuses (Adventure Comics # 247).

January through December, 2974

1/3/74 - Cosmic Boy is re-elected leader.

3/2/74 - Phantom Girl responds to a call from Rimbor regarding Sugyn and meets Jo Nah, soon to be known as Ultra Boy (Secret Origins (2nd series) # 42, Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 1).

4/1/74 - Ultra Boy joins; Reflecto is rejected (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 1).

5/30/74 - Star Boy joins (Legion of Super-Heroes (1st series) # 306).

6/14/74 - Star Boy goes to the twentieth century and brings Valor to help him catch two criminals on Xanthu (Adventure Comics # 282).

7/16/74 - Kid Quantum disappears and is believed dead.

7/28/74 - Shrinking Violet and Sun Boy join; Bouncing Boy is rejected a second time.

8/8/74 - Triad, following the prevailing fashion in code-names, changes hers to Triplicate Girl.

8/16/74 - Sun Boy stops Kranyak.

8/30/74 - Bouncing Boy is admitted after he proves useful in fighting an electrically-powered criminal (Adventure Comics # 301).

9/15/74 - Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy assemble the Legion of Super-Pets to fight the Brain-Globes of Rambat (Adventure Comics # 293).

10/25/74 - Star Boy stops a riot on Takron-Galtos by collapsing a building on himself, putting him out of action for almost a year (Legion of Super-Heroes (1st series) # 306).

12/11/74 - Valor is temporarily freed from the Bgztl Buffer Zone to help the Legion fight a killer android from the past (Adventure Comics # 300, Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 2).

12/15/74 - Lester Spiffany and Storm Boy are rejected for Legion membership; Bouncing Boy tells his origin to the gathered applicants, Matter-Eater Lad is accepted (Adventure Comics # 301).

12/17/74 - Sun Boy temporarily loses his power (Adventure Comics # 302).

12/19/74 - Kranyak breaks free of prison and threatens Sun Boy (Adventure Comics # 302).

12/20/74 - Sun Boy gets his power back and puts Kranyak back in jail (Adventure Comics # 302).

12/22/74 - Sun Boy and Lightning Lad are injured, and they are implanted with a curative capsules by Doctor Landro. Sun Boy's contains a shrunken spy (Adventure Comics # 303).

12/24/74 - Matter-Eater Lad joins (Adventure Comics # 303).

12/28/74 - A Legion attempt to secretly deliver a doomsday bomb fails (Adventure Comics # 303).

12/29/74 - A Legion attempt to capture Meglaro goes awry (Adventure Comics # 303).

January through December, 2975

1/2/75 - Brainiac 5 deduces the culprit, and lures Landro and Meglaro to Umrax, where Laurel Gand brings them into custody (Adventure Comics # 303).

1/10/75 - Saturn Girl is elected leader by prompting others with her telepathy, and immediately orders tests of peoples' powers (Adventure Comics # 304).

1/18/75 - Lightning Lad dies stopping the Khundish invasion led by Zaryan the Conqueror, killing Zaryan in the process (Adventure Comics # 304).

1/23/75 - Valor joins the Legion as a permanent member, revealing that Brainiac 5 had developed a permanent cure for his lead poisoning a few days earlier. Dynamo Kid and Antennae Boy are rejected (Adventure Comics # 305).

2/17/75 - Five rejected applicants, Polar Boy, Night Girl, Fire Lad, Chlorophyll Kid and Stone Boy
form the Legion of Substitute Heroes. Another applicant rejected that day, Estimate Boy, doesn't join that team (Adventure Comics # 306, Secret Origins (2nd series) # 37).

2/28/75 - The Legion of Substitute Heroes secretly stops a Zatonian invasion while the Legion fights decoy robots (Adventure Comics # 306, Secret Origins (2nd series) # 37).

3/5/75 - Jan Arrah joins the Legion as Mystery Lad and aids them in their pursuit of Roxxas the Butcher. After Roxxas is caught, Arrah takes the name Element Lad (Adventure Comics # 307).

3/12/75 - Ayla Ranzz pretends to be her dead brother revived, and later, when her disguise is uncovered on Thieves' Planet (where Chameleon boy "adopts" an Antarean "pet", which he names Proty), joins the Legion as Lightning Lass (Adventure Comics # 308).

3/23/75 - Jungle King and Rainbow Girl are rejected for Legion membership; Jungle King forms the Legion of Super-Monsters (Adventure Comics # 309).

3/24/75 - Jungle King commits several crimes with his Legion of Super-Monsters (Adventure Comics # 309).

3/25/75 - Jungle King is killed by a Gas Creature (Adventure Comics # 309).

4/11/75 - A group of Zyzans capture the Legion and imitate them (Adventure Comics # 311).

4/22/75 - The Legion of Substitute Heroes secretly stops the Zyzans and frees the Legion (
Adventure Comics # 311).

5/23/75 - Chameleon Boy's pet, Proty, sacrifices its life to revive Lightning Lad (Adventure Comics # 312).

6/19/75 - Alkator and Ron-Karr are rejected for Legion membership (Adventure Comics # 314).

6/21/75 - Alkator travels back in time and puts the minds of the Roman Emperor Nero, Adolf Hitler and John Dillinger into Valor's, Laurel Gand's and Ultra Boy's heads. The Legion stops them and sets things right (Adventure Comics # 314).

6/28/75 - Lost World is moved into a dust cloud (Adventure Comics # 314).

7/1/75 - Chameleon Boy acquires a new Protean as his "pet," which he names Proty II.

7/9/75 - The Legion of Substitute Heroes are discovered by the Legion, and a contest is held to see which one deserves Legion membership. Stone Boy wins (Adventure Comics # 315).

7/31/75 - The Mystery Raiders hit Earth, and Ultra Boy pretends to be a criminal and flees (
Adventure Comics # 316).

8/3/75 - After several days of pursuit, Ultra Boy is found by the Mystery Raiders. He leads them into Legion headquartes and freezes them (Adventure Comics # 316).

10/20/75 - Dream Girl joins, Rann Antar is rejected (Adventure Comics # 317).

10/31/75 - Dream Girl reveals that she has imbued Lightning Lass with the power to cancel gravity on objects, and quits. Lightning Lass changes her name to Light Lass (Adventure Comics # 317).

11/3/75 - Sun Boy leads a mission to evacuate the doomed planet Xenn, and suffers from space-fatigue, accusing other Legionnaires of mutiny and casting them adrift (Adventure Comics # 318).

11/5/75 - The other Legionnaires reach Toonar and locate the ship that was lost with Sun Boy. The Legion's constitution is amended to prevent future space-fatigue problems (Adventure Comics # 318).

11/16/75 - The Legion tries to investigate the planet Throon, but fails. The Legion of Substitiute Heroes succeeds (Adventure Comics # 319).

11/27/75 - Radiation Roy is rejected for Legion membership. Dev-Em, on a mission from the Interstellar Counter-Intelligence Corps, breaks into Legion headquarters. Valor is asked to take over his mission, and he takes down Molock the Merciless (Adventure Comics # 320).

12/14/75 - Bouncing Boy loses his power when he accidentally bounces in front of a shrinking ray. He is awarded honorary Legionnaire status (Adventure Comics # 321).

12/16/75 - Glorith, disguised as Science Police Chief Wilson, tries to get the secret of the Concentrator from the Legion and fails (Adventure Comics # 321).

12/18/75 - Glorith, upset at the Legion for her failure, hurls black suns at the planet Althar, where the Legionnaires are, but they save themselves by using the Concentrator (Adventure Comics # 321).

January through December, 2976

1/14/76 - The Legion of Super-Pets tests and admits Proty II to their ranks (Adventure Comics # 322).

1/23/76 - Spider Girl and Double-Header are rejected for membership. In a delayed election due to a preoccupation with the iron curtain of time, a six-way tie is resolved in a contest set up by Proty II ,which Saturn Girl wins, becoming leader a second time (Adventure Comics # 323).

2/13/76 - Doctor Marden King sets the Heroes of Lallor against the Legion (Adventure Comics # 324).

2/20/76 - The Legion captures the Brain-Lords of Khann (Adventure Comics # 325).

2/23/76 - The Legion attends the law-enforcement parade on Rygor (Adventure Comics # 325).

2/25/76 - Kid Psycho is rejected (Superboy (1st series) # 125).

2/27/76 - Queen Azura of Femnaz uses a ray to hypnotize the female Legionnaires to destroy the males when the time comes (Adventure Comics # 326).

3/2/76 - Nearly half of the male Legionnaires go on a month-long survey of the galactic rim (Adventure Comics # 326).

3/3/76 - The female Legionnaires capture the remaining males in death-traps. The other male Legionnaires save Femnaz from its destroyed moon, and Queen Azura lifts her hypnotism of the females, who subsequently rescue the males they trapped (Adventure Comics # 326).

3/15/76 - The Legion responds to a distress call on Krallak and to one on Zuun, where they meet Lone Wolf (Adventure Comics # 327).

3/17/76 - The Legion arrests Karth Arn for several robberies, and discovers that he was an android pretending to be Brin Londo, while Lone Wolf, who thought he had been the android Karth Arn, finds out that he was really the human Brin Londo (Adventure Comics # 327).

3/24/76 - As Saturn Girl plans an assault on Mordru, Ultra Boy signs a non-agression treaty between the Legion and the Jaguar Court of Grykk (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 1).

3/28/76 - Ultra Boy manipulates Mordru into a fight against Glorith (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 1).

3/31/76 - Command Kid joins the Legion (Adventure Comics # 328).

4/9/76 - Command Kid's true nature is discovered, and his demon is exorcised, removing him from the Legion (Adventure Comics # 328).

4/11/76 - The Legion battles Vibrex, whose power necessitates the invention of the Legion's flight rings (Legion of Super-Heroes (1st series) # 267).

4/24/76 - Colossal Boy, Sun Boy, Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl and Valor are pulled into the past by the Lord of Time to fight Karate Kid (Karate Kid # 12-13).

4/30/76 - Star Boy meets Dynamo Boy, who recharges his spaceship and suggests he attend a Legion tryout (Adventure Comics # 330).

1/2/77 - Brainiac 5 is elected Legion leader, and the Legion begins speaking conspicuously of a mysterious "Plan R" (Adventure Comics # 337).

1/7/77 - Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Ultra Boy and Phantom Girl pretend to resign and marry (Adventure Comics # 337).

1/9/77 - The Legion hold a tryout to flush out Murran spies; Chlorophyll Kid and Night Girl pretend to apply and are rejected, Blackout Boy, Size Lad and Magnetic Kid I, the spies, are "accepted."

1/15/77 - The Murran spies are exposed and the anticipated Murran invasion is averted (
Adventure Comics # 337).

2/15/77 - Glorith attacks the Legion, youthening several Legionnaires, and is stranded on a barren planet (Adventure Comics # 338).

3/1/77 - The Legion goes to Vorn to stop Beast Boy's animal attacks, he follows them to Earth and dies there saving a girl's life (Adventure Comics # 339).

3/22/77 - Kid Psycho is accepted into the Legion reserve (Superboy (1st series) # 125).

4/22/77 - Brainiac 5's rogue supercomputer Computo attempts to enslave Earth and kills one of Triplicate Girl's bodies, leading her to change her codename to Duo Damsel (Adventure Comics # 340-341).

4/30/77 - Element Lad is attacked by an alien savage with a knife and saves himself by transmuting the knife into gas (Adventure Comics # 342).

5/5/77 - Colossal Boy saves himself from a Saturnian Stone Dragon by blocking its path with a boulder (Adventure Comics # 342).

5/7/77 - Cosmic Boy fights pirates in an asteroid zone and saves himself from being blasted by shielding himself with a meteor (Adventure Comics # 342).

5/19/77 - Light Lass saves herself from being crushed by a boulder thrown at her by savages (Adventure Comics # 342).

5/27/77 - Matter-Eater Lad eats part of a ray gun with which a humaniod creature intended to blast him (Adventure Comics # 342).

6/6/77 - Brainiac 5 destroys a robot trying to kill him on the planet Arnak (Adventure Comics # 342).

6/24/77 - Duo Damsel saves herself from a Jovian Mastodon by splitting in two (Adventure Comics # 342).

6/29/77 - Calamity King and Color Kid are rejected for Legion membership; Star Boy goes to meet his parents on Karak but instead ends up killing Kenz Nuhor in self-defense (Adventure Comics # 342).

6/30/77 - Star Boy is expelled from the Legion for killing Kenz Nuhor. He joins the Legion of Substitute Heroes (Adventure Comics # 342).

8/13/77 - The Legion stops the fake Luck Lords from their psychological extrotion (Adventure Comics # 343).

9/10/77 - Several Legionnaires are captured by Nardo and held prisoner in his Super-Stalag of Space (Adventure Comics # 344).

9/30/77 - Ultra Boy and Valor return from a mission and rescue the Legionnaires and other heroes held in the Stalag; Matter-Eater Lad is made grossly fat by an odd combination of energies (Adventure Comics # 345).

10/12/77 - The Legion stops Doctor Mantis Morlo from performing his experiments on humans and arrests him (Adventure Comics # 362).

12/8/77 - Princess Projectra, Nemesis Kid, Karate Kid and Ferro Lad join the Legion (Adventure Comics # 346).

12/15/77 - The Legion helps repel a Khundish invasion of Earth and Nemesis Kid is exposed as a Khundish spy, but escapes capture (Adventure Comics # 346-347).

1/4/78 - Invisible Kid is elected leader; Doctor Regulus attacks the Legion and is defeated (Adventure Comics # 348).

1/15/78 - The Legionnaires vote Rond Vidar's time cube the best invention at the Metropolis Science Fair; Universo invades Legion headquarters and attempts to strand the Legion in the past; Rond and his time cube save them (Adventure Comics # 349).

1/29/78 - A madman leaves a zeta bomb in a public place and Brainiac 5 disarms it (Adventure Comics # 351).

2/3/78 - Karate Kid stops a runaway speeder from hitting a crowd (Adventure Comics # 351).

2/5/78 - Ultra Boy holds up the roof of a burning building to allow people to escape (Adventure Comics # 351).

3/1/78 - The Time Trapper splits the Legion into two seperate time-tracks and hides one of them in stasis in the Time Institute (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 53, Valor # 23).

3/15/78 - Valor and Laurel are forced to leave the Legion and return to Daxam when a cloud with odd radiation frequencies cancels out their anti-lead serum. Upon their insistence, two masked Legionnaires, Sir Prize and Miss Terious, are admitted to replace them (Adventure Comics # 350).

3/21/78 - The Devil's Dozen attacks the Interplanetary Bank; Lightning Lad is kidnaped (
Adventure Comics # 350).

3/23/78 - The Hag attacks R. J. Brande, Bouncing Boy is kidnaped by Sugyn (Adventure Comics # 350-351).

3/30/78 - The Legion gathers all necessary materials for a spell to stop the Hag (Adventure Comics # 351).

3/31/78 - Star Boy, Dream Girl and Bouncing Boy (his power restored) rejoin the Legion; Matter-Eater Lad has his excess weight removed; Lightning Lad's arm is re-grown, as Evillo and his Devil's Dozen are defeated due to the reversion of the Hag to her true form, the White Witch, and the betrayal of Evillo by Doctor Zan Orbal (Adventure Comics # 351).

4/3/78 - Princess Projectra fails to deliver a package for R. J. Brande to Gor Haxma, but with the help of Ferro Lad and Karate Kid, retrieves the package and delivers it (Legion of Super-Heroes (2nd series) # 31).

4/4/78 - Princess Projectra, Karate Kid and Ferro Lad capture Black Mace and his Khundish assistant (Legion of Super-Heroes (2nd series) # 31).

4/10/78 - All but five Legionnaires leave for an extended mission in Dimension QK-51.

4/15/78 - The Legion is told of the Sun-Eater's approach to the galaxy, and send out pleas for help (Adventure Comics # 352).

4/16/78 - Unable to get heroes to help, the Legion locates the five most wanted criminals in the galaxy and enlists their aid (Adventure Comics # 352).

4/18/78 - Guided by Tharok, the Legion and the villains try but fail to stop the Sun-Eater. Tharok reveals that Validus is under his mental control, and forces the other villains to ally with him as the Fatal Five (Adventure Comics # 353).

4/20/78 - Ferro Lad dies saving the solar system from the Sun-Eater. The Fatal Five, inadvertently formed by the Legion during the campaign, escape into another dimension (
Adventure Comics # 353).

5/5/78 - The Legion celebrates Parents' Day, and five Legion orphans are lured away, where they are turned into toddlers (Adventure Comics # 356).

5/8/78 - The five young Legion orphans are adopted (Adventure Comics # 356).

5/14/78 - Brainiac 5 manages to reverse the youthening, and the five Legion orphans leave their adoptive parents, assuring them that they would soon be able to have children of their own (Adventure Comics # 356).

5/29/78 - The rogue Controller who sent the Sun-Eater toward Earth begins to "haunt" the Legion with images of Ferro Lad's "ghost" (Adventure Comics # 357).

6/2/78 - The Legion holds a seance and the "ghost" commands them to disband, which they do immediately (Adventure Comics # 357).

6/3/78 - The rogue Controller captures Valor, who he deems dangerous to his plans, and reveals his scheme. Something else else triggers the alarm-signal in Valor's ring and he is saved by the other Legionnaires, who get back together. The rogue Controller suffers the Controller equivalent of a heart attack (Adventure Comics # 357).

6/7/78 - The Legion and the Legion of Super-Pets stop the operations of pirates aboard the so-called "Ghost Ship of Space" (Adventure Comics # 364).

6/9/78 - The Hunter brings the Legionnaires to Simballi to hunt them (Adventure Comics # 358).

6/10/78 - The hunter hunts the Legionnaires, and is killed when Invisible Kid beats him (
Adventure Comics # 358).

6/24/78 - The entire Legion leaves Earth to undertake various missions, such as the prevention of the star Omega Kalphon from becoming a super-nova, and the repulsion of Xakkan raiders from Tartos (Adventure Comics # 359).

7/25/78 - The Legion returns to Earth and finds itself outlawed. Several Legionnaires are sent to prison for violating curfew (Adventure Comics # 359).

3/20/82 - Six Legionnaires help evacuate the doomed planet Dryad (Legion of Super-Heroes (1st series) # 272).

3/25/82 - Mordru's astral body forces four Legionnaires to seek the mystical objects that will summon the Demons Three and five others are held hostage.

3/26/82 - Mordru, considering the Legion's efforts failures, reaches into the past for them and instead comes up with the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America. He forces the two groups to get the objects, and they are successful. The Demons attack Mordru and send his astral body, with Legionnaires accompanying it, to rejoin his physical body. They argue over what their relationship with humans should be, and get the Legion, League and Society to fight it out for them until two are knocked unconscious and one captured (Justice League of America # 147-148).

4/6/82 - Doctor Regulus sends the Immune against R. J. Brande, and a shrinking plague sweeps the United Planets. The Immune and Regulus are defeated, and a cure to the plague is made from the Immune's blood (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 232).

4/11/82 - The Legion stops a Sklarian raid on the Time Institute. Rond Vidar then performs an experiment that turns Jaxon Rugarth into the Infinite Man, who attempts to kill Vidar (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 233).

4/13/82 - After the Legion fails to find a solution to the Infinite Man problem, he returns for Vidar, who traps him in an endless loop of time (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 233).

4/15/82 - The Legion is given the spent Quintile Crystal as a souvenier of their first case (DC Super-Stars # 17).

4/30/82 - Colossal Boy, Shrinking Violet, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad merge into the Composite Legionnaire while helping Imskians hunt Space Dragons. The maddened creature attacks Earth and is stopped and separated by Wildfire, who is critically injured. 5/3/82 - The Legion hunts the fabled Psycho-Beast of Titan and finds it and uses it to revive Wildfire before Marko Chang could use it to revive his son, Redvik (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 235).

5/7/82 - The Legionnaires are put on trial for causing Redvik Chang's death by taking the last Psycho-Beast, but charges are dismissed when Wildfire and Brainiac 5 appear and use the Psycho-Beast's energy, stored within Wildfire, to revive him (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 235).

Brainy destroys Wildfire's containment suit and all his spares and replaces the helpless Wildfire with a robot.

7/6/82 - Ultra Boy is summoned by An Ryd. Brainiac 5 shoots him and maroons him on a moon of Rimbor while Pulsar Stargrave kills her and plants false evidence leading to him (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 239).

9/19/82 - After hiding out for several days, the remaining Legionnaires mount a frontal assault on Mordru, freeing the remaining Legionnaires and "burying" him in space (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 245).

2/14/83 - Chameleon Boy reveals Brainiac 5 to be the culprit behind Ultra Boy's framing; Brainiac 5 admits it and shows the Legion Omega, which he created to destroy the ungrateful Earth. The Legion begins their failed attempts to stop Omega (Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes # 250-251).

10/29/83 - The Legion makes a trip back to the twentieth century to figure out the Superboy puzzle. They are hunted by soldiers, and they are met by a Molecule Master android, which fights them. During the fight, several Legionnaires are taken prisoner by the army, and Phantom Girl brings Superboy with Ultra Boy's mind to Bgztl (Legion of Super-Heroes (1st series) # 280-281). Doctor Anton Halkor steals the Nandorian Relic and plants it in the twentieth century, bringing Batman with him on his return trip. Duo Damsel, Shadow Lass and Shrinking Violet are tricked millions of years into the past by a hypnotized Rond Vidar (Brave and the Bold # 179).

10/30/83 - Batman helps the Legion defeat Halkor and Universo and rescue Duo Damsel, Shrinking Violet and Shadow Lass and return him to his own time (Brave and the Bold # 179).

5/4/87 - The Legionnaires begin helping rebuild the Time Institute, and re-work the time bubbles to provide extra protection against the Time Trapper.

7/19/87 - Wildfire shows off his new energy-form to Dawnstar (Legion of Super-Heroes (2nd series) # 37).

7/20/87 - Once the Time Institute has been rebuilt and the protective equipment prepared, eight Legionnaires, trying to stop the Time Trapper, travel in time and end up in Superboy's pocket dimension. Superboy betrays four of them to the Time Trapper, but the other four get away to Superman's time, where Superboy follows them. Superboy takes the other four back to the pocket dimension, where Superman follows him and fights him to free the Legionnaires. Superboy betrays the Time Trapper, who destroys his machine keeping the pocket dimension safe from the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Superboy dies saving his universe, and is brought to the thirtieth century for burial (Legion of Super-Heroes (2nd series) # 37-38, Superman (2nd series) # 8, Action Comics # 591).

2/1/95 - The Khunds make arrangements for an alliance with the Yakka-Mahor of Talok VIII (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 15).

3/14/95 - The Khunds establish a beachhead on Xolnar, site of the Militia Academy, killing a patrol group from the Academy led by former Legionnaire Berta Skye Haris, a. k. a. Nightwind (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 15).

3/17/95 - Cham's Khundish contact, Orlak, brings a disguised Laurel and a hidden Vi to Khundia on a scouting mission, where they are arrested. Jacques Foccart (formerly the second Invisible Kid) is contacted by Universo, who also leads an Earthgov-resistance movement, about the possibility of an alliance (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 16).

3/18/95 - The Khunds launch a decoy attack on Talok VIII and a full-force attack on Xolnar. Jed Rikaine, once called Power Boy, is killed in the attack (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 16).

3/19/95 - Laurel is brought to Glorith, and Vi sends her to the far future. Mysa, on Xolnar, weaves a spell that creates a force-field around the Academy, which keeps the Khunds at bay and demoralizes them. The United Planets fleet, which had been concentrated at Talok VIII, arrives at Xolnar thanks to Brainiac 5's adaptation of the Khunds' own technology (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 17).

3/20/95 - The Dominators test B. I. O. N. on former Legionnaire Atmos, who dies at the android's hands (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 21).

3/22/95 - The Khunds retreat to their pre-2995 borders.

3/27/95 - Tensions increase on Earth with the Earthgov execution of the Tornado Twins (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 17).

3/30/95 - A Dark Circle adherent on Orando attempts an assassination of Queen Projectra (

3/31/95 - Projectra enlists Valor's aid in stopping Dark Circle agitation (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 18).

4/11/95 - A time-tossed Superman appears and helps the Legion stop Dev-Em's mad rampage on Earth's moon. A Linear Man appears to Superman and destroys the moon, triggering the Dominator "Triple-Strike" program. Earth's defensive systems are taken off-line. Medicus One is destroyed, killing all aboard, including Doctor Gym'll. Circadia Senius is killed in an explosion caused by a crashing lunar fragment. The final part of Triple-Strike, the detonation of fusion powerspheres around the globe, triggers reactions in humans possessing the metagene, including Dirk Morgna (once Sun Boy), whose power causes him to burn himself up, and Devlin O'Ryan, whose power begins to manifest. The young Legionnaires of Batch SW6 are freed from their chambers (Adventures of Superman # 478, Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 19).

4/12/95 - Jo Nah returns to the thirtieth century and is added to the new Legion's roster (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 19).

4/13/95 - A false report of Dirk Morgna's death is released by Earthgov, which actually brings him to an underground experimentation chamber. On Brainy's orders, Laurel takes the place of Celeste on the mission on Earth. Imra Ardeen, the former Saturn Girl, gives birth to twin girls Dacey and Dorritt Ranzz (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 20).

4/14/95 - Jo Nah's mind is evaluated on Quarantine; Rokk Krinn discusses Venado Bay. Mysa Nal is summoned in a dream by Amethyst (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 20).

4/15/95 - Mysa Nal leaves the Legion to search for Amethyst among the remains of Zerox.

4/16/95 - A delirious Devlin O'Ryan meets Batch SW6 (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 20-21).

4/17/95 - Brainy brings Furball to Zuun for tests and gets embroiled in a scheme of Darkseid's. He gets separated from Furball, and contacts the Legion. Furball meets Aria Campbell and her friend, Lori (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 21).

4/19/95 - Furball saves Aria and Lori from their pursuers, and the threesome is found by Brainiac 5. Valor discovers that there might be a set of cloned Legionnaires, possibly the set of Legionnaires including him, in existence created by the Dark Circle (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 22).

4/20/95 - Jo, Kent and Celeste arrive on Zuun, as Darkseid's Probe version of Lobo captures Aria. Brainiac 5 figures out Darkseid's scheme. Science Police Chief Circe contacts Bounty and meets Laurel (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 23).

4/21/95 - Aria is transformed into Gemini and tricked into blasting her energy at Darkseid, who had transformed Furball back into his human "Timber Wolf" appearance. Darkseid disappears (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 24). The Dark Circle agent in charge of the Carggg operation is sentenced to hear the story of Valor to better prepared next time (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 2).

4/23/95 - Prompted by Devlin O'Ryan, the Legionnaires who emerged from Batch SW6 contact the underground and meet with Universo (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 25).

4/25/95 - A force made of soldiers from both Foccart's and Universo's resistance movements, led by the former members of the original Legion of Substitute Heroes, storms and captures the Dominators' underground chambers (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 26).

4/26/95 - B. I. O. N. attacks the older Laurel Gand, who flees to Talus, where Rokk, Kono and Loomis defeat it (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 24, 26-27).

4/27/95 - Circe and Bounty go through Science Police Earth tunnels with the intention of assassinating Pinnacle Command. They meet Spider Girl there (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 29-30).

4/28/95 - The Subs examine the pods in the chambers, and discover one with Dirk Morgna's name on it which does, in fact, contain Dirk Morgna (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 27-28).

4/29/95 - Sade is freed from her chamber and is convinced to join the resistance fighters against the Dominators. Valor consults the Legionnaires on Talus regarding his recent discoveries of Dark Circle cloning activity. 4/30/95 - Tensions on Earth reach the breaking point with the Dominion assassination, on galaxy-wide holovision, of Earth President Tayla Wellington (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 29). Timber Wolf is thrown back in time to save his life by Aria/Gemini (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 3).

5/1/95 - The Subs in the chambers are attacked by four Dominion expermental subjects and defeat them. Valor sets off to see how best to handle the situation on Earth. (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 30). The Naltor Dreamers win the pennant by beating the Winath Jaybirds (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 3).

5/2/95 - Dacey and Dorrit Ranzz are baptized. Lydda Jath Krinn gives birth to a son, Pol Jath Krinn (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 3).

5/6/95 - Shvaughn Erin changes back into a male, Sean Erin. The young Element Lad, distraught after causing the deaths of a number of Dominion soldiers, runs away and encounters Sean Erin. Jan Arrah goes back to his fellow resistance fighters. The older Valor meets the younger Valor Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 31).

5/15/95 - The Chameleon Boy, Princess Projectra and Karate Kid of Batch SW6 are killed, as are thousands of others, in the explosion of the Dominators' underground chambers set off by Grinn. Universo blows up his base and all Dark Circle soldiers in it, escaping first (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 32).

5/16/95 - Cham goes to Yal in search of his father and also finds Kid Quantum, still alive after all these years, and hiding as the Soul of Antares. He stops the Hunter from taking Kid Quantum captive, but becomes the captive of Leland McCauley IV (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 33). The young Legion starts participating openly in the war for Earth (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 34).

5/17/95 - The Dominators formally surrender to United Planets forces, liberating Earth. Jacques Foccart is appointed President of Earth. Circe, Bounty and Spider Girl meet up with the young Sun Boy, Ferro Lad and Cosmic Boy and the self-destroying older Dirk Morgna (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 35).

5/19/95 - Dirk Morgna is killed by Science Police Chief Circe in an act of intended mercy, and she kills herself immediately afterward. Bounty attacks Sade, who injures her gravely, forcing her to leave the body she had been occupying, that of former Legionnaire Dawnstar (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 36).

5/22/95 - The Naltor Dreamers win the Galaxy Series by beating the Toonar Pilots without the help of Starfinger. Imra Ardeen is kidnaped by one of Duo Damsel's bodies in service of Glorith (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 37).

5/23/95 - The Batch SW6 Valor goes back in time and is lost (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 37).

5/26/95 - The two Brainiac 5's come to the conclusion that the Earth is doomed due to six-centuries-old waste known as proton jelly. Evacuation efforts begin (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 38).

6/3/95 - New Earth is formed; evacuation efforts are stopped (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 38).

6/4/95 - Earth blows up, killing two billion people (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 38).

6/5/95 - Leland McCauley IV shows off his collection of living beings, frozen by the Emerald Eye of Ekron to his father and takes him prisoner. Jan Arrah eulogizes Earth (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 39).

6/6/95 - Summoned by Leland McCauley III, the young Light Lass, Cosmic Boy and Ferro Lad go to Gallan and rescue not only McCauley, but also Cham, R. J. Brande, Kid Quantum, and the sentient Proteans. They and the (former) prisoners are driven off the planet by threats of legal action (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 39).

6/9/95 - Cocheta Drisden incites a riot among her fellow mindwiped Dominion chamber subjects. It is stopped by some Legionnaires and by Universo. Nura Nal (the former Dream Girl) asks J'onn Jonzz to lend Mysa a hand (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 40).

6/10/95 - The young Legion and old Legion meet at a cocktail party. Rokk is alerted to the fact that Imra is missing (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 40).

6/11/95 - Cham resigns his position with the Legion to work with the younger team of Legionnaires being stationed on New Earth. Jacques Foccart resigns from the Presidency of New Earth to take his position with the adult Legion, and Troy Stewart, formerly Tyroc, becomes President (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 41).

6/12/95 - The young Legionnaires begin putting their old headquarters back together (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 41).

6/13/95 - The New Earth team of Legionnaires is formally deputized. 6/14/95 - Luornu Durgo, once Duo Damsel, is kidnaped. The Talus Legion team solves the kidnapings of Imra and Luornu and discovers that Luornu's second body, believed to have died in the 2988 encounter with Glorith, was still alive, and that Luornu has the power to project a force-field, which they use to capture Glorith (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 42).

6/15/95 - The New Earth team of Legionnaires breaks up the street gang called the Hand, which had been run by Mano and had been committing acts of destruction all over New Earth (
Legionnaires # 1-2).

6/16/95 - The New Earth Legionnaires hold a tryout, at which X-Bomb Betty and Cera Kesh are rejected (Legionnaires # 2).

6/18/95 - Gossamer is kidnaped and Leviathan badly beaten by Mordecai (Legionnaires # 2-3).

6/19/95 - The New Earth Legionnaires go after Mordecai, who is teleported away by Leland McCauley IV. Gossamer is rescued. Cera Kesh becomes a new Emereald Empress (

6/21/95 - The new Emerald Empress attempts revenge on Inferno, who had insulted her (

6/27/95 - The new Emerald Empress frees the other Fatal Five members from prison to further her own plans (Legionnaires # 6).

7/8/95 - Jacques Foccart and his wife, Drura Sehpt, the former Infectious Lass, arrive on Talus, as does Spider Girl (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 43).

7/11/95 - With the help of J'onn Jonzz, Mysa Nal reaches the Amethyst statue, but is possessed by a spirit of vengeance. She flies off to attack Mordru. Amethyst's spirit enters J'onn and sends him to Talus to seek help (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 43).

7/12/95 - Mysa attacks Mordru, who merges with her and tries to reshape the universe with his newfound power. He is stopped from doing this, so he reanimates corpses galaxy-wide to take over by force (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 43-44).

7/13/95 - Veilmist, Firefist, Bloodclaw and Flederweb join the Talus Legion team as part of a deal with the Khunds for mutual assistance in battling Mordru's undead army. Jonn J'onzz reaches Talus and the Amethyst presence enters Kono (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 44).

7/14/95 - Mordru's servant, Vrykos, recruits Roxxas to help raise the dead of Trom (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 44). Tenzil Kem. Kono/Amethyst and J'onn call upon Nura Nal and head for Tharn. The Legion fights its first battle against the reanimated corpses (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 45).

7/15/95 - Timber Wolf is pulled back to the thirtieth century with Jamm and Angon (who is immediately sent back to the twentieth century) and is added to the Legion's roster, despite injuries that keep him out of action for a while; Drura destroys the reanimated corpses of Talus (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 4). Bloodclaw is killed in battle with the reanimated corpse of Magnetic Kid (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 46).

7/16/95 - Roxxas reanimates the Trommite bodies, and Jan Arrah, after freeing himself from their imprisoning him in inertron, follows them to Pasnic (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 45-46). Harlack the Khundish sorcerer deactivates most reanimated Daxamite bodies. Jamm forces Lydda Jath Krinn, Valor, Shadow Lass, Apparition and Andromeda to satisfy his whims until he is forced to free Shadow Lass from his power in order to save them all from burning up in a sun. Valor and Andromeda handle the rest of the Daxamite bodies. Jamm is returned to the twentieth century (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 4).

7/17/95 - Jan bursts a blood vessel in his brain stoppng the Trommite bodies on Pasnic. The adult Legion ends the reanimated-corpse spell (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 46).

7/18/95 - The adult Legion invades Tharn directly and fights reanimated corpses of their most hated enemies, as well as other spells of Mordru. Firefist is apparently killed when he blasts Devlin O'Ryan, forgetting his reflective powers. Brainiac 5 and Queen Projectra attempt to separate Mysa from Mordru, but Mordru re-merges them and buries the Legionnaires, including Nura, J'onn, Tenzil and Kono/Amethyst who had just arrived. Devlin saves them and the Amethyst presence leaves Kono and separates Mysa from Mordru, and Mysa takes away Mordru's power, defeating him (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 47-48).

7/19/95 - Flederweb and Veilmist are forced by the Khundish army to leave the Legion. Firesfist's still-living body is found by a Khundish army technician. Jan Arrah is admitted to a hospital on Pasnic with Roxxas at his side (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 48).

7/21/95 - Saturn Queen finds the Hypno-Stone, but is stolen from her by Evillo and she is imprisoned (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 49).

7/23/95 - Tenzil Kem responds to a psychic distress call from Saturn Queen but is captured by Evillo as soon as he lands on Tartarus (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 49).

7/24/95 - Stiletta and Styx rescue Tenzil from Evillo's dungeon and bring him to help them and other Tartarun freedom fighters get the Hypno-Stone away from Evillo. Evillo captures them and forces Tenzil to animate a giant robot of his and give it fearsome form. Tenzil makes a mockery of it, and, as Evillo is distracted, the Hypno-Stone is taken away from him. Evillo is imprisoned, and Saturn Queen is freed and given the Hypno-Stone (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 49).

7/25/95 - Tenzil and Saturn Queen arrive on Titan, where she proposes marriage to him, an offer he accepts. Rokk and J'onn Jonzz finish re-burying bodies on Shanghalla, and Wildfire takes over Sun Boy's body (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 50).

7/26/95 - Kono's mother comes to Talus to steal some technology and bring Kono back into her smuggling ring. Tenzil gets married and tells the Legion about it. Jan Arrah recovers from his hemmorrhage and takes a leave of absence to convalesce on New Earth (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 50).

8/5/95 - Several of the New Earth Legionnaires take a vacation in the Tritonis dome (
Legionnaires # 7).

8/10/95 - The New Earth Legionnaires resolve problems between the human/merfolk residents of Tritonis and Marsala and the Devil-Fish that live there (Legionnaires # 7).

9/7/95 - Brainiac 5 overcomes the drug and heads back to New Earth with his fellow Legionnaires (Legionnaires # 8).

9/9/95 - Universo begins circulating doctored pictures of the Legion with Khunds in United Planets offices on Weber's World, beginning with Ambassador Relnic and King Jonn (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 50).

9/10/95 - Brainiac 5 has a dream in which BION fights the Legion and is defeated through his genius (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 50).

10/25/95 - Several of the New Earth Legionnaires crash-land on Antares II and are approached by Proteans acting out dream scenarios. Live Wire accidentally hits the young Cosmic Boy and a boy named Mayf with his lightning while trying to quell a riot (Legionnaires # 9).

10/26/95 - Accordion King and Barber Boy are rejected for admission to the New Earth team of Legionnaires; Inferno meets an ardent admirer, Sadi. Invisible Kid and Leviathan discover that Sklarians are behind the food robberies (Legionnaires # 9). The Legionnaires on Antares discover that the people they are with are actually Proteans, and try to help them against a pack of Khunds who have captured Kid Quantum. Cosmic Boy is taken to the hospital (Legionnaires # 10).

10/27/95 - Kono's mother volunteers Kono's services in infiltrating a pack of Sklarian food-stealing pirates. Inferno and Sadi distribute food to the hungry (Legionnaires # 10).

10/28/95 - The Proteans' sentience is restored and Kid Quantum gains the powers he once invoked through use of a belt-device, and with it stops the Khunds (Legionnaires # 11).

10/29/95 - Andromeda finds the Legionnaires who had crashed on Antares. Inferno and Sadi find the Paris dome blocked off with indestructible chains. Mayf's mind explodes into some sort of psychic vortex, enveloping and freezing the nearby Legionnaires (Legionnaires # 11).

10/30/95 - Kid Quantum joins the New Earth team of Legionnaires (Legionnaires # 11).

11/1/95 - The Legion team on New Earth enters the Paris dome in an attempt to depose the racist and xenophobic Archduke Lothar St. Maixent. They try to rescue ayoung Dominator who was under attack, but their advances are misinterpreted and she teleports them into a prison, from which they escape (Legionnaires # 12-13).

11/3/95 - The young Matter-Eater Lad (in disguise) and Kono infiltrate the grain-stealing Sklarian pirates (Legionnaires # 13).

11/4/95 - With the help of the young Dominator teleporter, the Legionnaires in the Paris dome get onto the Archduke's estate and find that Grimbor the Chainsman is his security chief. Cosmic Boy regains consciousness (Legionnaires # 13-14).

11/5/95 - Matter-Eater Lad's cover is blown, but the Legionnaires come to his and Kono's rescue, and they reveal that Grimbor, claiming authority from St. Maixent, had hired them to steal the grain. This information is relayed to the team in Paris, which confronts the Archduke, who denies all charges, a statement that Grimbor backs him up on. Grimbor is taken to prison and new elections are arranged for Paris, with this information about St. Maixent known to the public (Legionnaires # 14).

11/7/95 - The New Earth team of Legionnaires, working with their minds linked together, restore Mayf to consciousness and rescue their teammates from his mental vortex (Legionnaires # 15).

11/11/95 - Ayla escorts Timber Wolf, under examination by Brainiac 5, on a walk around Legion headquarters on Talus and a trip down memory lane. Mysa, after communing with magical forces, decides that a pre-emptive strike against Glorith, whose power has increased with Mordru's defeat, would be advisable (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 52).

11/20/95 - The Legion tries to strike at Glorith, but the plan goes awry and Glorith emerges the victor, killing Celeste's body (though she lived on as an energy-form inhabiting Darkstar armor), aging Brainiac 5, youthening Kent, Mysa and Devlin and reversing the time-flow of Ayla's body. Jo finds out that she sent Phantom Girl back in time, and resolves to go after her. Her attack on Devlin, though, creates a backlash of her power that frees the Time Trapper from within her, causing her to disappear to plot against him (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 53).

11/22/95 - Glorith travels back to the past to corrupt Valor before he ever met the Legion.

11/23/95 - Glorith returns to the thirtieth century after her efforts to corrupt Valor end in his death and paradox, which had to be patched over by the Linear Men. The paradox shatters the fragile thirtieth-century timeline, and anomalies begin occurring, with people's memories beginning to conflict (Valor # 11-21, Legionnaires # 16). Rond Vidar gets the new time-beacon working and discovers the disruption in the time-line and the approaching end of the universe (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 53).

11/24/95 - The Legion gets to Quarantine and medical examinations indicate that nothing can be done about Kent's or Devlin's youthening, necessitating their removal from the Legion (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 54).

11/25/95 - Spider Girl is formally recognized as a member of the Legion on the way back to Talus. The Legion is stopped during the trip and taken to Weber's World, where they are held on charges of collaborating with the Khunds (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 54).

11/27/95 - With the help of Jacques Foccart, who suspects Universo of framing the Legion, the Legion escapes (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 54).

12/1/95 - The Legion, using disguises, lands on Rimbor, and Jo, after finding them a temporary place to stay, leaves the group to find a way to get back in time to find Tinya (Phantom Girl) (
Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 54).

12/8/95 - Spider Girl, who had followed Jo, returns to the Legion reporting that she lost him in the middle of a gang war. She dyes her hair and begins using the name "Wave" (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 55).

12/9/95 - Dawnstar goes through a trial on Starhaven to confront her fears and shames (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 55).

12/11/95 - The Legion finds Jo (using the name "Dragon") and is ambushed by him and his gang (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 55).

12/12/95 - Jo gathers the gangs together and uses the Legion to subdue them. He reveals that he has discovered one gang, the Broncs, collaborating with Rimbor's government, and enlists their aid in exposing this. He reveals that he trapped the Legion into it because he thought they'd be angry at him for running out on them. Vi (calling herself "Virus" discovers that Rimbor's government is in league with the Khunds (Legion of Super-Heroes # 55).

12/24/95 - The united gangs break the Broncs, and Vi, having gathered enough hard evidence, exposes Rimborgov's connections to the Khunds (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 56).

12/30/95 - Due to interference from the United Planets Militia Academy, the Legion fails to stop the Khunds from assassinating Starfinger, and discover that their next target is Weber's World. Using a time-bubble, Rond Vidar gets Circadia Senius to confirm his apocalyptic findings (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 57).

12/31/95 - Vi tells the youthening Ayla a story to cheer her up (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) Annual # 5). Rond Vidar secretly enlists the aid of the young Brainiac 5 and Invisible Kid.

January through December, 2996


1/1/96 - Valor and Shadow Lass encounter Dev-Em on Daxam on the anniversary of its genocide and observe the incident un-happening as a prelude to Zero Hour. Rokk, calling himself "Polestar," goes to New Earth to fight an upcoming Khundish strike there (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 57). On New Earth, Live Wire, Saturn Girl and Cosmic Boy notice that their memories are inconsistent with the others' regarding the previous existence of Ferro, or younger versions of Bouncing Boy, Star Boy and Dream Girl. They take a time-bubble into the past to investigate, and end up involved in the twentieth-century time-crisis Zero Hour (Legionnaires # 16-17, Zero Hour # 3). Glorith re-empowers Mordru and teams up with him, with intentions of stealing the Infinite Man's power (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 58).

1/2/96 - The adult Legionnaires fight Khunds on Weber's World to prevent the Khundish bombs from exploding. Veilmist offers to betray the Khunds if Jo will marry her, and is killed for this by Firefist. Laurel Gand sacrifices herself in the attempt to rid Weber's World of Khundish bombs. Jo uses Rond's time bubble to go to the past in search of Tinya, with help from Valor. The Legion is acquitted of all crimes, as Universo and Chameleon Chief are revealed to be the culprits (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 58-59). Rokk drives some Khunds away from New Earth (Legionnaires # 16).

1/3/96 - Rokk begins losing his mind due to the effects of the gauntlets that Brainiac 5 invented to stimulate his latent magnetic abilities, and tries to reassemble Earth, with disasterous consequences for New Earth. The New Earth team of Legionnaires stops him by destroying his gauntlets. The Legionnaires hold a funeral for Laurel, and Glorith and Mordru attack them and kidnap Rokk (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 59, Legionnaires # 16-17).

1/4/96 - People begin vanishing as R. J. Brande gets Valor, Andromeda, Dev-Em, Troy Stewart (the former Tyroc) and the Subs to help pull the Pocket Dimension's Earth into the true universe, and find that the planet is unstable and therefore unsuitable to replace old Earth (Valor # 22). Most Legionnaires gather on Winath to begin looking for Rokk, who by this time had escaped into the Library of Time (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 60).

1/5/96 - Glorith and Mordru attack Talus and summon the Infinite Man with the time beacon, and Leviathan is killed in the attempt to stop them. They try remaking the universe in their own image, but are stopped by a disappearing Mysa Nal before the changes are complete. With the help of a re-appearing Superboy, Mordru and Glorith are defeated, but Mordru teleports into the core of the unstable Pocket-Dimension Earth (Legion of Super-Heroes # 60, Legionnaires # 18, Valor # 23). Live Wire, the younger Saturn Girl, the younger Cosmic Boy and the older Jo Nah (who went to Earth upon discovering that Phase of the L. E. G. I. O. N. was not Tinya), along with several twentieth-century heroes, come to the thirtiteth century and apparently seal the entropy rift that was coming from the future, but the Time Trapper and the older Rokk appear, send the twentieth-century heroes home, and reveal that the universe's end is unstoppable (Zero Hour # 2).

1/6/96 - Exactly twenty-three years after the Legion was first formed, the older and younger Legions merge with one another and sacrifice their lives so that time's rifts could be healed. The Time Trapper removes his Iron Curtain of Time, and the entropy rift from the future swallows up the thirtieth century (Legion of Super-Heroes (3rd series) # 61, Zero Hour # 1).
