We can also make references to obscure commercials for hair products. In other languages, yet!

hey Cobie !

if you wanna put product in your hair, but for it to still look DRY and not WET LOOK [ with gel/wax ] try a product called 'Hard To Get' it's in the 'Bed Head' by TIGI !!

i used to use it when my hair was like your current style ....

Years ago I followed Matt's advice and actually ended up engaged--apparently my hair looked so sexy that females did their best to just snatch me up!

One thing that both the fictional Rockhopper Lad and the real John have in common is neither of us has hair on his head. Rocky has feathers and I--I have nothing.

I posted at the MMB that I'm starting beauty school soon. My interest in hair will soon become my career!

Meanwhile, I haven't done anything different with my hair in a long time. I wonder how much experimentation will happen with it in school?

Stay tuned!

I plan to go from long to short. For me, Long is hanging down in my eyes and hitting my collar in the back (shirt collar, not dog, lol). Just watched a Jesse Stone movie. His cut seem pretty good. I'll probably go with that. And thus, I has experimented.

Re Rikey, Rinreed! Reah, Raggy!

Congrats on the career change, by the way. Hope it goes good for you. You and Matt can compare horror stories about customers later, lol.

I've been trying for years to have " gangster hair "... you know, that sort of very-short-on-the-sides but long-enough-to-be-slicked-back-on-top look that every single 40's era movie-mobster has...

but...

I'm a bit too coarse to ever fully achieve it, and always wind up getting it cut once the " Eraserhead " look sets in.

Big, bold, and sassy, thanks to the wonders of seasonal humidity.

Oh, thank you for asking! At Gene Juarez, we call it "airwaving."

I quite enjoy having professional level skill at it. We recently had a "most beautiful" contest with our mannequins. I didn't place in the top 3, but I loved what I did. My manni (I call her Belinda Carlisle because her hair is the color of Belinda's in the "Heaven on Earth" video) got a retro center parted style with lots of loopy flippy curls. SEXY! She just needed a big pair of Foster Grant sunglasses and she'd be ready for St. Tropez! It was fun.

As for my hair, I got it cut REALLY short a couple of weeks ago, so now it's filling in just right.

Naturally, I'm curious about making a change. I was thinking about Anderson Cooper style silver! I'll let you know what/when I decide.

Oh, and I want to mention that I really enjoy watching "Shear Genius" on Bravo. One of my good handful of guilty pleasures.
