The hair. The hair. Always the most difficult question.

There comes a time when all good stylists face the truth: It's a comb-over or a buzz. There is only one correct answer.

I've been buzzing mine for the past year (as a pre-emptive strike). I even did the "Lex Luthor look" as few weeks back (though now I look like a baby chick).

Ultra, your hair looks good (and the rest of you too), don't sweat it.

MLLASH, mullets are bad. Even the suggestion of them (that goes for robots too GRL)

In an insane world, please let us have sane hair!

Thanks for the BAMF, Nightcrawler. Maybe the Advisors here can fold my "Hair Part II" thread into this one.

Re: Mullets - I was reading the Too Much Coffee Man magazine yesterday. There was a page-long letter in one cartoon in which the character apologizes for everything bad the U.S. has done to the world, ending with "I apologize for the mullet"! Hear, hear. (Although I didn't mind them when they first came out, we used to call them "Slut Cuts".)

I just had mine cut on Saturday (about bloody time too. At least a month and a half since I had it snipped last and it was way too long) and it looks much like Matthew's now really. Different colour though. And my sidies are all neatly trimmed (they were getting a little bouff the last few weeks) and long and pointy. Plus today it's feeling very soft and silky. smile

Mine's in that oh-so important phase b/t having it cut last Saturday and really hitting its best possible time in the cycle (approximately this Saturday) when its all kick-ass!

I pretty much rock the short-haired spikey front look thats been in style for awhile. But always dry and not-gelled, so it looks like I naturally rolled out of bed.

Mine is past my waist now and heading south. Scott though absolutely refuses to say I have long hair because NO ONE can have hair as long as his WAS before Marriott corporate nazi's made him chop his gorgeous russett curls off. Scott's hair was down to his butt, and thus I will not have long hair until mine is that long.

I have never colored my hair, but damn I want to! I have a lot of silver (not grey) in my hair, and it's kinda pretty, like a frost job. But sometimes I dream of a deeper brown, or some red, or even going black. Never been vain enough (or rich enough) to get it professionally cut, styled and colored. If only I could go to Matthew's salon!!! If only he and Paul could give my mane a makeover, life would be sweet smile

Well after a couple of years of shaving my head, I've decided to grow it out again.
Its only been growing a few months, so its still pretty short frown

hey Cobie !

if you wanna put product in your hair, but for it to still look DRY and not WET LOOK [ with gel/wax ] try a product called 'Hard To Get' it's in the 'Bed Head' by TIGI !!

i used to use it when my hair was like your current style ....

Matthew.

I was just thinking the other day we haven't had a good post from Dean about hair.

I buzzed mine a few weeks ago with the clippers, #7 guide so I have the Adventure era Star Boy look.

Wow, thanks Matt! I actually think I'll check that out! Though I've always had pretty good hair, I really don't know anything about taking care of it or what, if any, type of product to use.

I might start coming back for more tips! smile

I've often wanted to dye my hair, just to experiment, but since I was naturally blessed with a nice shade of red, it seemed almost sacreligious to change it! But I about a year ago i started having blonde highlights put in, and I love them. It is kind of expensive, so I don't keep them up as well as i should, but I'll never go back to mono colored hair again. This summer my stylist went even bolder and blonder, so I look like a bit of a zebra, but I love how dramatic it is. It makes me feel young!

I usually cut my hair really short in the summer, but this year I think I'll go for the Einstein look.

I'm over-due for a haircut. My neck is all furry!

Oh, and I'm not at Reed Richards level yet, but I've got some gray in my nearly Grell-ish sideburns.

How's my hair?

Unstyled and frizzy, as usual. And with my horrible nose, I look like Witch Hazel. Witch Hazel with GLASSES! eek

But I'm not changing it. I once fell to the temptation to wear it short, and I regretted it immediately. And I couldn't afford to buy a wig to cover it while it grew back.

In honour of the late George Carlin...

"How's your hair?"
"Fine!"
That makes a lot more sense!
