I enjoyed the episode, however i was confused, Sylar saves Micah by posing as him, as Micah watches from behind crates. Then back at Sylar's place he is shcoked that Sylar can shape shift, i understand he may not have realised he had the power but the whole shock thing was kind of stupid.

Micah has previously encountered an illusion-caster who disguised herself as his mother (I think). Maybe he thought Sylar was using that kind of power and the shock was that he could actually shape-shift (including his clothes, it would seem).
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

but she was casting huge illusions, which included the enviroment you were in. Not the same as Shape shifting.

I looked at it as shock coming from the standpoint of "Wow! this guy is absofreakinlutely nutso!!!" with the way he was not just shifting but actually holding a 2 sided converstion/rationalization with him/herself

I've got the first 2 eps saved on DVR. Haven't had the courage to watch them yet. I guess I was hoping for some "WHEEEE! Heroes is back & better than EVER!!!"-type reviews before I dove in. While I haven't seen any specific news, it seems that nobody, myself included, really cares anymore. And of course, the ratings are hitting new lows. Maybe I'll watch some of the DVR stuff on a particularly boring night and report back here. Then again, maybe not....
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

This season has been a bit disjointed but then that could be part of the bigger story ... I still have faith ... the Sylar/Parkman stuff is good ...

Yeah, that's kind of the boat I'm in. I haven't really enjoyed the show since the first season, but have watched the last couple out of habit. This season I haven't even managed to do that.

Until the limp non-resolution that ended season one, I was prepared to have this show's babies.
It's just gotten increasingly more disappointing.
Plus they keep killing off my favorite characters (Eden McCain, Elle Bishop, Nikki) and letting annoying cretins (Claire, Mohinder, Hiro and, increasingly, Matt Parkman) survive...
It's a good thing they found a lame way to keep Ali Larter around. She's at least watchable.

The introduce-an-interesting-character-then-kill-them-off is one of the many annoying things about the show.
Heroes seems to have taken over all of the crappiness of modern comics and none of the stuff that actually used to make comics/super-heroes fun.

This carnival is epically failing to inspire my interest. That's bad, considering they seem to be positioned to be this seasons 'big thing.'
Lydia and her precognitive tattoos bores the crap out of me. (Oh look, a new season, a new art-based precognitive. So nu.)
Creepy tattoo / earth manipulator dude annoys me.
And Darth Maul/speedster-with-kukri doesn't seem likely to survive the season, and not just because really fast people running with sharp objects seem like a non-starter.
On the other hand, Traci losing interest in her old 'power and money' schtick and wanting to make a difference is a great face heel turn. Or is it heel face turn? Oh, whatever. Still, when bad girls go good on this show (see Eden McCain, Elle Bishop, Parkman's jailbait speedster girlfriend) they usually die. Hope she's got another sister out there, so that Ali Larter can come back next season...
Nathan's been more interesting than ever before, now that he's dead.
I think that's a winning formula, writers of Heroes. Please kill off Claire, Hiro and Mohinder next, because I promise you, I will like them so much better that way!
Not caring for Noah this season either. He needs to get up and walk it off. Parkman too. You gots powers. Use 'em. All hiding from yourself does is encourage weakness and excuse the inevitable failure.
Peter still isn't bugging me, although the actors freakish face deformity wigs me. Apparently he's 'hot,' but since one side of his mouth goes up and the other side goes down whenever he talks, I just keep waiting for his head to rip in half and an alien hatchling to emerge...
This show needs more Mr. Muggles. That's for darn sure.

This show is just boring the crap out of me. The show started off by positioning these characters as being part of something greater. Now they're just totally self-involved and there's no sense of drama about the overall direction or arc. The "when will Sylar realize who he is?" story is the only thing to look forward to - I'm not sure why I should care about Claire's roommate or the carnival people, or how Hiro will inevitably skirt death.
Good thing is Mohinder seems nowhere to be found.

Yeah, and now I hear they're shoehorning a lesbian kiss in there between Claire and the roommate next episode. I've no problem with lesbian kisses, mind you, but this reeks of Heroes trying to force in some relevance and attention into a dying show. Ugh.

Hawt girl-on-girl action might be more tantalizing if Claire shed about 30 lbs of makeup and looked like a human being underneath it all and Gretchen was even a little bit hot.
I mean, I'm all about the prurient interest, but c'mon, plain Jane kissing fantastic Plastic? Yawn. Why can't Ali Larter's current character get reunited with her past character (who was miraculously saved from the fire, or discovered she was invulnerable, or something) and the two of them end up in prison together, where one thing leads to another...
It's not hard, Tim Kring, this stuff writes itself!

I thought last week's episode (10/16) was pretty good ... this week's was kinda shaky ... such a hit-or-miss show ...
