Mrs. Petrelli has become one scary mother. Creepy too. What's her power? Dreaming the future, same as Mr. Deveraux. Looks like certain powersets are common. Paint the future - Heroin dude in NYC, new African dude. Flight - Nathan, Claire's annoying BF Empathy - Peter and Invisible Claude mentioned that he'd met other empaths, and that none of them could handle it. Dream the future - Angela Petrelli, Mr Deveraux (old guy Peter was doing hospice work for and whose daughter he almost dated for like 30 seconds). Speaking of "painting the future" could anyone make out who it was the cop had in his arms? Was it the cheerleader or Lightning Lass? I couldn't tell. The body seemed too small to be either Claire or Elle. Plus the brightly colored polka-dotted dress seemed a little unlikely for either of them, which leaves me thinking, Molly Walker. Her face being obscured leaves me also thinking, the top of her head may be missing...

The name of the town was Beverly Hills.
Angela Petrelli is one cold evil woman.

Peter just reminded me of an old David Gerrold novel, The Man Who Folded Himself where a fellow time travels backward and forward through time to affect events and in the process completely loses track of where the "real" time stream ought to be.
I'm wondering if we could see more and more Peters show up who are trying to change the world by changing the past. It gets confusing pretty quickly I would imagine. I suppose it could be interesting to see a story where multiple time travelers manage to work it out and the world really gets saved somehow but I don't have that much faith in these writers. Ironing out wrinkles in time travel stories had given many a sci-fi author a migraine. - readers too -

It's too bad Kristen Bell is listed as a "special guest star." Glad to see Sylar didn't get her, but I would've liked to see her as a regular - it's an interesting character who could have a very interesting and emotional arc.

She's actually the character I'm most interested in right now. Sylar, Peter, etc. bore me and Hiro (and his 'nemesis') is actively pissing me off. Mohinder and Maya never haven't pissed me off, so nothing new on that front... Current favorites; Elle Bishop Ando Traci/not-Nikki two Villains that just died (darn it, I liked the dude who channeled fear into strength and the magnetic powers dude!) Nathan Petrelli Angela Petrelli Elle's characterization really interests me. Some of her interactions with Peter, and with her father, and the mindjob that Noah Bennet hit her with last season, all promised so much potential, but then stupid Sylar showed up and killed Bob Bishop and pretty ruined any chance of that plotline going anywhere.

Any episode that gets Peter's shirt off is a winner in my book Mind you, for sweeps week I expect him to be pantless, as well

I actually enjoyed the nobler take on Sylar/Gabriel we saw in 4YL. With his working for the Company and all, it seems we're going to see Sylar in more shades of gray at least. Sylar's a little more fun and Quinto more interesting when we get to see more sides of him.

It would be boring to have Sylar still be a big villain in season three. It was time for something different. I do like how they have changed things up a little bit. Heroes becoming a little darker, villains becoming a little lighter. Keeps you on your toes wondering what everyone's real motives are. Like Mama Petrelli... still can't figure out where she's coming from even after two seasons...

Any idea who the Big Return is in the next episode, according to the trailer? We heard a voice, but I didn't immediately recognize it.

Could they have been talking about Papa Petrelli? I know he's supposed to be coming back. Isn't he presumed dead?

You heard he was coming back? Where?
Arthur Petrelli (Papa), whom I don't think has appeared onscreen thus far, supposedly committed suicide offscreen before the series began. From the context of the teaser shown, I was thinking it was somehow him also.

It would be cool if Linderman turned out to be dear old dad. Could explain why he has a connection to Nathan that no else seemingly has.

Anyone remember which character(s) was/were shown in that tidbit? I think it was Nathan, but I'm not sure.

Wow nobody commented on last Mondays episode? i think it was the best so far of the season. i totally freaked when Peter broke Sylar's neck then i remember that Sylar had aquired Claire's ability and when Peter turned on his mother was awesome. i really felt sorry for i don't know weither to call the guy "Black hole man" or "Gravity well" all he wanted was to see his family. and when Hiro killed Ando?? i hope he either will jump back in time to save Ando or maybe he lept ahead as saw this coming so he was able to prepare for what was to come and Ando is not really dead. and how did Daddy parkman manage to get out of his "Prison"? and i think that it's genius that he's pretending to be Linderman to manipulate things for "Papa" Petrelli. and the ending scene where Claire's real mom was captured by the "Puppet master" i can't wait to see next mondays episode!! ohh and i totally forgot about Mohinder's "Brendel Fly" mode while trying to find a cure for himself. looks like this could be the best season yet.

At least it was finally a way to put a muzzle on the Maya character. Now if Mohinder could put himself in a cocoon, then we wouldn't have to put up with him anymore either.
Loved Papa Parkman as Linderman.
Wished I didn't hear about the return of Papa Petrelli spoilers.
Seeing Mama Petrelli scared was scary. This "War of the Roses" is going to be good.
"Synthetic genes" - cool.
Ando getting stabbed to prove Hiro's a bad ass - not cool.
Another Ali Larter character is always welcome.
I'm hoping fans and new fans will stick with this show.

WHAT'S TO COME (From E!Online)
Click Here For A SpoilerA Hero Is Going Six Feet Under! And I think most of you will be okay with who this soon-to-be-dead hero is. She (yes, she) has been grating on my nerves personally since day one of this-here season three. (Mostly because I want her off of my hot specimen of a former human.) Is that too obvious? Whoopsie!
A Villain Is Going Six Feet Under! And the real crime? Poor fella just got out of there...Yes, a villain that you and I both love is going down next week, and once he's gone, he's not coming back. Sadness.
So, what say you, are you gonna miss these two from the show? I know I'll miss one of them. Your comments, sobs, rants, raves and requests for photos of Sark shirtless in order to console you are welcome below. Meanwhile...
Mohinder Goes From Bad to Worse: No one knows what he plans to do with those cocoons but he wants to add two moreāhe's thinking of putting in a Nathan-Tracy duplex. Ruh-roh.
Claire Discovers Why She's Special: Remember when Uncle Sylar cut off the top of her head and told her she was "different"? Before too long we will learn why and how that special-differentness came to be, and you will not be surprised to learn that the reason has everything to do with Grandma Angela, Grandpa Arthur and the whole previous corrupt generation of Heroes. (Think back to when Kaito Nakamura handed off Baby Claire to H.R.G.)

That's on odd spoiler. How could a Click Here For A Spoiler a villain that we love die, if we only know of one villain, Sylar? We don't even know the others, other than fear-strength dude, whom I seriously doubt anyone 'loves' quite yet, since he's had like six speaking lines. Could it be Adam? Gosh, that would be nice, but only if he took Claire and Hiro with him, 'cause they both annoy me mightily.
Still thinking that Elle Bishop is the most compelling character this season, and her lack of screentime since the first episode hasn't changed that...
After seeing Mohinder's cocoons all over the back room, my roommate quipped, "I really don't want to know where he secretes that stuff from..." Fortunately we get to see him finishing up another one later and he still has his pants on!

Yeah they finally introduce a likable character other than Ando and poof. Both are gone. Hiro's schtick is getting old (to me) but loyalty is forever. Kick him to the curb Ando, he only wants to be known for saving the world. Like father like son. Ruthless.
