There's a rumor making the entertainment rounds that George Takei may be joining as Hiro's vader, I mean father. Can the SHAT be far behind?

That would be Fan-Takei-Stic!

It would be Shat-sational!

The Boston Globe is reporting that TV Guide will reveal next week that Takei is joining the show.

You've got to be SHAT-IN' me!

Another great episode. I can't think of one that's been a miss so far...

i was disappointed in this episode, no oooomph to it as far as i was concerned. How the nuclear explosion figured into all this even if he didnt save the cheerleader is lost so far on me.

I don't think it quite lived up to the hype, but I thought it was quite good. I guess I was expecting more convergence among the paths of the Heroes.

I take it the purpose of "saving the cheerleader" is that she'll play a key role later on in "saving the world".

It played out as I suspected -- Peter would absorb Claire's power and survive, and save her. Maybe saving the world comes from Claire surviving and confronting her father about her powers? Maybe this turns the HRG-conspiracy in a better, more helpful direction? On the other hand, they've caught Sylar. What will they do with him? Seems unlikely that much good can come of that.

I LOOVE the idea of Eden "causing" Sylar. That's awesome. Bet the writers and producers wish that they had thought of it!

While tonight was predictable and more than a little anti-climactic, the character development was great, especially for Claire and Mohinder. It's delightful to see India and Indians depicted in this show.

OH -- Before I forget. How did Linderman know to include a photo of the painter that Flyboy defaced? More precognition/knowledge of the future from time travel?

I assumed the picture was from the gallery, per Drake's earlier comment.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Loved Peter <swoon> protecting Clare, then running like a bat out of hell when the locker doors started coming his way. When we finally saw the painting and his alleged death, I knew he'd be coming into contact with Clare shortly before that scene would take place, and the ending where he was arrested was too predictable.

The Mohinder story line bores me TO TEARS, I couldn't possibly care less. And I was disappointed out how esily Sylar was taken down, is he perhaps another Radiation Man, where he's not a bad guy at all, just confused in his newly acquired powers and running scared.

-Missed last night's episode because I taped it for the wrong hour. Does anyone know if it re-airs this week or how else I can watch it? Or am I doomed to wait for it to air as a rerun...

I have been following it since the beginning and was sooo looking forward to watching it last night, but my one year old was projectile vomiting and I got a little distracted with my VCR set up, needless to say.

It also looks as though the Homecoming episode will air on Nov 27 at 7PM on Sci-Fi Network. Sci-Fi is also having a Heroes marathon on Nov 29, showing 6 back-to-back episodes.

Just a thought. Maybe they didn't save the cheerleader. Jackie the glory hog did die.

and whats up with hiro? he obviously doesnt save memory lass because he takes off weeks before her death, My belief is that hiro discovered something in the past that played a part in him deciding not to stick around to save her.

I think we will see that next week.

Well, it's pretty clear that Claire was the cheerleader from Isaac's paintings. Plus it makes a lot more sense that saving her would be important.

Maybe Jackie had the super-power to absorb the concussive force of a nuclear explosion.

Stupid Peter! He's doomed us all!

i was thinking for a moment that peter was going to absorb Sylar's powers, but then he ran which put a end to that. When Sylar hit claire, he basically crushed her face ans so on, does he have super strength or do you think it might be his mind, and with all the mind powers he has, its strange that he wouldnt be able to tell superpowered people from normal.

All we know for certain that Sylar has is telekinesis, as everything else he's done can be explained as manifestations of that ability.

I wonder if Peter has to have a knowledge of an offensive power in order to use it. For instance, Claire's power is defensive and sort of works on it's own. With Sylar, his power was a little more vague in origin and usage, so maybe Peter didn't have time to understand how it worked.

I forget, did Peter see Claire using her power?

She may have still been healing when she ran into him, but he didn't really take note of it.

even though peter got arrested, i cant see them holding him because claire should be telling the cops the difference.
