The vague premise sounds like The 4400. I'm not dissing it, just noticing the similarity to another of Clear Channel's shows.
Just spouting off.

I'll probably give it a look especially since Adrian Pasdar is part of the cast. But the new fall show I'm looking forward to is Jericho .

Oh, and unless they've changed the story from the initial synopsis, one of the characters in Heroes, the teleporter, is supposed to be an inmate at the Utah State Prison who keeps waking up outside his cell.

Dee. Lightful. Who else really wants to see this series take off?

Rich Johnston appears to like the preview he was sent. And he noted the similarity to The 4400 and said it was much better than that show. It also appears that NBC is attempting a defined time limit to the show. Five years according to Johnston.

The commercials for this have me TOTALLY revved up. Coming Sept 25, Monday nights, iirc.

Might this become the first ever prime time series chronicling the coming-together of a super-team?

I'm looking forward to this also. I'll give it a whirl just for having Greg Grunberg in it. It's tough to grab an hour to sit and watch a show but I want to watch it and the other new Monday night NBC show with Matthew Perry.

I still want to see this one but out of all the new shows this year I think I'm anticipating Jericho the most.

Both "Heroes" and "Jericho" look interesting. I'll definitely check them out, but with trepidation--so many series start out promising but often are cancelled too quickly or just fail to deliver on the promise their pilot episode showed: "Surface" and "Threshold" from last year come readily to mind. "Surface" was cancelled too quickly and the "Threshold" just got crappier each episode after a promising pilot.
Hopefully, these two will do better. Of the two, I have a feeling "Jericho" has the better chance, what with Skeet Ulrich being somewhat of a "name" star and having a mystery appeal to it like "Lost". We'll see...
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

So far, NBC has me on Monday nights until this and the SNL series prove to be crap.
The only consistent feature of all of your dissatisfying relationships is you.

Monday is my late night at work. My DVR is getting a real workout these days.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

I kind of liked it. I'm in for a few shows.
Sorkin I think has yet another hit with Sunset Strip. I'm digging it anyhow. Monday's are looking good.

I'm onboard; my non-geek bf really enjoyed it. I wonder if it will garner a large enough audience, though.
