We'll probably never really know.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Backwards-talking Walt was certainly accompanied by Whispers during his appearances.
And the Others quizzed Michael on whether Walt ever appeared somewhere he wasn't supposed to be.

I'm also skeptical we'll get an answer regarding Walt but on the other hand, I feel like it wouldn't require too much explanation at this point (re: Walt as a potential candidate).

It's so funny how my views of Sawyer and Jack have taken a 180 degree turn since the first season.
I hated Jack as the square jawed heroic leader and liked Sawyer as the self-interested prick.
Now I can't stand macho hero Sawyer and dig the f*cked up and flawed Jack.

Jack has emerged as the best character on the show again somehow. He's all the best parts of the old Jack and some of the best parts of Locke.
Great episode. More revelations, I'm glad they came right out and told us about Christian once and for all. Now I want to rewatch all Christian appearances with new eyes.
The reunion was great between Sun and Jin. My wife has tears running right down her face. It was very moving.

For the record, I think it's worth noting that the result of Christian's leading Jack to water was the first major division among the survivors, which I would guess was his actual goal.
I, for one, am still loving Sawyer! He managed to con fake Locke, and the obvious differences between his leadership-style and Jack's early on in the series (witness Sawyer's brutal willingness to leave behind Claire and then Jack compared to Jack's reluctantance in leaving anyone behind).
And Desmond was awesome in his brief appearance last night!

I'm also loving Sawyer as much as ever.
Obvious but worth a mention: it was Christian who helped get Locke off the island in the first place (and MiB who told Richard to tell Locke he had to die). Like with Ben, we can see how the MiB manipulated him all along.

I suspect that even after the series is over we'll all be re-watching, analyzing, picking up on and speculating about bits and pieces of it for years to come!

It's been great to see Jack's growth, in just this season alone. His conversation with Hurley last week about trust, his acceptance of Sawyer's directive to leave claire, and he's decision to go back tot eh island- all seem real and very much something he believes in as opposed to the knee-jerk responses from season one.
In contracts, Sayid's loss of character has been tough to watch. The glimmer of hope from his conversation with Desmond last night will get me through next week's repeat.
Sun and Jin's reunion has been a LONG time coming for me. It seemed a little downplayed. And Jin's comment "We'll never be apart again." doens't bode well. Has it ever, in the history of story, proven true?
Sawyer and Kate more and more seem like the perfect couple. He's grown from selfish prick to taking care of his people, and now he's the stern leader making the hard choices. She's become a good side for him, keeping true to her word to rescue Claire, despite the evidence. Good luck to them.
Just spouting off.

The Sun/Jin reunion did seem a bit downplayed for how long they'd been apart, and it was kind of a shame that it had to share an episode with the Jack/Claire reunion, which seemed to overshadow it.

Yes, and the tears came. I know there's another reality going on, so there's more to come with these characters, but....yeah.

So I wonder if we'll ever find out Click Here For A Spoilerwhich Kwon was actually the candidate?

It probably doesn't matter given the fact that neither is...in the running anymore. Certainly, the field is narrowed now. And apparently, if I'm interpreting correctly, Sayid told the person who it'll all come down to that it's him/her. This would make sense if Desmond possesses special knowledge, and this information came out during Sayid's offscreen conversation with him.
(Man, it's HARD to speak of this with minimum spoilers!)

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that's what that meant or not. Though that character would've been the most obvious choice, anyway.

But it's hard to see anyone else taking that role from the list we've been given. So I guess the series ends Click Here For A Spoilerwith a scene similar to the one between Jacob and the Man in Black that opened part one of "The Incident", except with Jack and MIB/Locke filling the roles? Yeah, Edie...that's a possibility, too. Obviously Desmond could help connect the two. I guess the perplexing thing is there's this sense of things not being 'right' over there amongst the characters. Obviously, there has to be a connection. Whether it works out exactly as you surmise remains to be seen. The only other theory I have is that Click Here For A Spoilerbringing the other Locke into the regular timeline somehow might cancel out MiB or what-not. Other than that, I got nothin'!

Somehow, right now I just don't see them giving us a Fringe-esque characters-moving-between-realites kind of thing, but I could be wrong!
