127,000 members? Grife! THAT'S a Legion, you by damn betcha! Ok so maybe we can't officially vote (or can we? We don't know yet) for the new leader of The Legion of Super-Heroes but since we're known far and wide as the books most dedicated fans we might as well give it a shot anyway. Long Live the Legion !!

There was never any question who I was going to vote for: Shadow Lass. And I did.

Sweet! We're off to a fantastic start!
For the record I voted for Lightning Lad. He was always treated poorly whenever he led the Legion in the past incarnations and the way Mark writes him I want to give him an opportunity to really shine for once.

well, as someone from the great city of chicago, I won't vote until I know where the candidates stand on patronage hiring.

Technically (and to my best recollection) Garth has only been leader once and that was pre-boot. He was elected in SLSH #247 and didn't even finish out his one-year term due to his breakdown. He just happened to have a lot go on during his tenure that took 44 issues to tell. See my post here for a breakdown of what happened.

Why can't I vote for Colossal Boy, Cosmic Boy, Dream Girl or Phantom Girl? Is this a Republican rigged election? I declare this election null and void!

It should be obvious why you can't vote for Dream Girl. Although there have been a number of instances lately of the dead winning elections.

Aw crud! I swear I thought I'd written in Phantom Girl and Micro Lad. Dang! Dang! Dang!
I don't see how to edit the poll to add new answers either.
Bloody nass!
I know I wrote them in before I decided it would be a better idea to alphabetize.
Can one of you guys add those names with your mighty administrative powers? If not I'll edit my first post and add the names there and request write ins for those characters.
I guess you CAN vote for Cosmic Boy if you want to (as a write in) but he specifically stated he was stepping down.
Dream Girl? See Scott's reply above if you please.

Garth all the way!! He's going to be a great leader! Get out there and "Shock the Vote"! Or can't we campaign this close to the polling place?

The incumbent seemed to indicate he was not seeking re-election in the most recent issue. The position is open.
Can WhoopNass with Wazzo count on your support?

Can WhoopNass with Wazzo count on your support? I didn't take his comments as a desire to step down...more just wanting to put the choice in the hands of the people. But yeah, taking into acount my av, you can count on my whoopNass support (assuming Cos really isn't running).

I vote for Cosmic Boy. I assumed he was allowing others to vote for him as well, if they so chose.
