what is everybody's favorite superhero/comic book related television show? (this can be live action or animated,dc/marvel/other)
i've always liked Incredible Hulk(with Bill Bixby in the title role) & Justice League/Justice League Unlimited shows.

Maybe it's just nostalgia, but the Spiderman series from the 70's/80's.
I also dug the X-Men cartoon from the early 90's.

Challenge of the Superfriends, with the multitude of super-heroes and super-villains. My favorite episode was the one where the villains keep going back in time to prevent the heroes from existing; the scene where Cheetah defeats Diana in the tournament and becomes Wonder Woman is so great.
My second favorite is the 1981 Spider-Man -- NOT Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, but just plain Spider-Man. As I said in another thread, both shows were made at the same time by the same studio, except one was shown on NBC, and the other (the one I like) was syndicated. Some episodes were better than others, but the really good ones were awesome.

I'm mazed how good Smallville is. That tops my list, although I've liked most of the DC shows that you guys have posted thus far, as well as GAH and Hulk. Lois and Clark was okay, too.

I Probably shouldn't admit this but the Campy Batman TV show of the sixties, staring Adam West, Burt Ward, and Yvonne DiCarlo(sp) is still my all time favorite.
Just the assemblage of amazing talent in the villains alone made it worth watching. Vincent Price as Egghead, Ceasar Romero as the Joker, Frank Gorshen as the Riddler, The various Catwomen...

"Smallville" is probably my favorite in terms of live action. "JLU" is my fav animated.

i used to love watching the Batman series with Adam West(when it was in reruns,but i don't think any stations run it anymore).
even though i'm not a marvel fan, i also enjoyed watching the 90's X-men cartoons. the animation was good for its time.

Gotta go with JLU... it's been an incredible show.. great writing and voice acting... and featuring nearly everyone..
For live action, Smallville is pretty good... but I seem to remember an old Justice League show from the 70's or early 80's that was live action... or did I just dream that?

My favorite Batman adaptation is the first season of Batman: The Animated Series. Especially the episodes with Poison Ivy.

'Smallville' is my current favourite !! and i've enjoyed each and every season so far !!
as for older show shows, i'd pick 'WONDER WOMAN' just because i have such fond memories of loving this show when i was a kid !! the spin did it for me every time !!

Sky High was a lot of fun. Predictable, yet fun anyway! My kids really enjoyed it too, which made it even more fun for their comic book obsessed dad!

Does the 1990 live-action Sam Raimi movie Darkman count, even though it wasn't based on a pre-existing comic book character? Actually, I read somewhere that Darkman started out as a proposal for a film version of The Shadow, but studio execs said it was "too weird." (and then a few years later, they did that horrible Shadow movie with Alec Baldwin.  ) Anyway, Darkman came closer to working for me than any superhero movie (and yes, I know that Sam Raimi went on to direct the Spider-Man movies -- sorry, but I wasn't impressed.)
