What? No one has selected THE BRADY BUNCH yet? ADMIT IT!!! You watched it every day after school-- didn't you?? DIDN'T YOU??!!?? I thought so! I'll bet you though Marsha or/and Greg was cute, too.
Surely THE BRADY BUNCH deserves an honorable or dishonorable mention!

OH!!!!!!!! And I only caught the first couple of seasons of a show on Showtime, but it was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. "Brothers" was about three brothers, Lou (the construction worker), Joe (the ex-football player now turned restaurantuer), and Cliff (the youngest, who just found out he was gay). While it was not a live show, it WAS filmed in front of a live audience. But some of the things they did, the actors and actresses COULD NOT keep from cracking up.
The first two seasons were very well written. The acting was totally top-notch. And they didn't focus on the "gay issue" in every episode. Don't get me wrong, they had fun with it ... but it was all done with some taste.
Like when Lou confessed to injuring his third grade teachers dog. It was named "Whoopie Cushion," and he thought it would make a funny noise if he sat on it. The police officer asked if, indeed, the dog made a funny noise when he sat on it. Lou pulled a Red Skelton and couldn't keep it together and finally blurted out, "YES!!" between fits of laughter.
THAT was a funny show.
Hmmmmmmmm ......... I wonder if it's on DVD???
You can never quit believiing in your dreams ... or yourself. ----- You GOTTA listen to Levi Kreis.

I've only ever watched a few TV shows. Here are the ones that I can recall off the top of my head that I liked:
Family Guy Futurama The Sopranos Oz GI Joe (aw c'mon, it was great!) The Real World (certain seasons for sure, but it counts as one ongoing I guess) Monday Night Football (I guess this counts...) Batman the Animated Series
I guess I don't watch enough television! When I do, it's mostly the Cartoon Network and searching for sexy music videos!

I'm a little unclear about the categories. Are Fox, UPN and WB considered "networks" in this poll? .
