Honestly, I've watched most of the episodes since V returned after hiatus, and it IS getting better! I'm surprised but ultimately glad that ABC is bringing the show back. It's far from perfect, but the improvement has been substantial, IMO. If this continues next season, good things may be afoot. For one, it has a slow build approach and shouldn't blow its load too quickly like Heroes did. So for now, color me delighted.

I'm still kind of on the fence about it. Just when I think it's going along fairly well, there'll suddenly be a scene that just seems kind of stupid.

Oh well, I'll keep watching at least!

With the finale, I thought most of it was pretty cheesy, but the the last ten minutes or so kind of redeemed it!

I have no interest in the upcoming second season -- even the gimmick of bringing back Jane Badler as Diana will not get me to watch; if anything, the thought of cross-pollinating the heretofore separate universes of the original and the new one irritates me intensely -- but I thought I should mention that Neva Patterson, who played Mike Donovan's evil mother in the original, passed away last week at the age of 90. May she rest in peace.

Jane Balder ! I might actually watch it! haha I dropped this show cause it was too much of a copy of the original.

I wonder if Jane Balder will be over the top ruthless like she was before ..... would be a comical contrast with the emotionless Anna. I suspect she'll steal the show.

I loved the original mini-series and really liked the second. This remake leaves me completely cold and I can not imagine what they could do to fix it at this point... wait, what's that you say?... Jane Badler?.... still.... well maybe, but it will still take a near miracle.

So, anybody been watching this?

For some bizarre reason they don't seem to be posting it online, so that pretty much solidified my lack of interest.

Just found out that Leonardo Cimino, who played the Holocaust survivor in the original, died a few days ago at age 94. His was one of the best performances in the show IMO. May he rest in peace.

Morena Baccaran and Jane Badler? Ka-BlaDamn! Likes me some curves. Never got into that show,though. Shame. Ms. Baccaran is a lovely lady and I would think she would be on something that would showcase her acting. She's still one of my favorites from Firefly.
