Growing up I had Charlene Tilton and Linda Ronstadt on my wall along with various comic related ones.
Now the only thing that adorn our walls are the Southwestern paintings and the Southwestern needleworks that Caroline's mom has done for us. But with the new house I have a whole basement to think about putting up posters in.

My master would like the humans who post on this message board to know that on those occasions when his android companion (myself) is offline for servicing, his enthuasiasm to communicate supersedes his patience to wait until I am online again, and he then attempts to communicate himself. Unfortunately, your primitive technology is unable to access the telepathic frequency which he uses.
That and his favorite poster is the "Wanted" poster of himself brandished by the Science Police, whom he despises.
The opinions expressed by Tarik the Mute do not necessarily reflect those of Tarik the Mute's Android.

Yeah, I think I saw his picture in the post office.
Since I don't really have any better use for them anymore, I've made a wall frame that holds my old album covers. They're nice, interchangable, and I can put them at home or in the office.

One of the last posters I invested enough time in to put up on a wall was "The Gashlycrumb Tinies" by Edward Gorey. You can see a form of it here. Aah youth!

I found the "Gahslycrumb Tinies" poster in college too. I still have it on my wall. Other favorites include the George Perez Wonder Woman poster, Amethyst and 'Mazing Man promo posters, the P. Craig Hamilton painted Aquaman poster (yum) and movie posters for "Rocketeer," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Iron Giant." When I was younger, I had the Sean Cassidy poster that came with one of his records. I believe it was at least open-shirted. And my parents didn't susupect a thing.

A bunch of my friends had Edward Gorey posters in college, especially the Gashlycrumb Tinies.
Another fav was M.C. Escher. I'm fond of the "infinite waterfall" one, or the "people climbing stairs endlessly" one (which, unfortunately, reminds me of work these days)...

Too bad Edward didn't live long enough to do an Issue of the Legion.
Oh, the possibilities of that...

I gotta agree with Icey -- the cover to JLA/Avengers #3 would make an EXCELLENT poster... as would that two-page spread that Phil Jimenez did a few years back for one of the Legion Secret Files and Origins...

I think there are going to be some DC editors at the Baltimore Con this weekend - I think I'll suggest that to them.
They'll probably have heard same by then, but it couldn't hurt.

That's a great idea.
I'd try it myself, but I usually find myself too shy to approach industry insiders at these sorts of things...

I can't believe this was five years ago! I remember this thread like it was yesterday.
Speaking of posters, I really wish I'd been able to get a copy of the Adam Hughes "Women of the DCU" poster that they were giving away at the DC booth at SDCC... I'd definitely put it up on my wall!
