Exactly. When I heard howling I started laughing. My 8yr old looked at me strangely (nothing unusual there) and I explained that there was a "Dog Green Lantern". He loved G'Nort. He said, "Woo! I want a dog Green Lantern too! Phshshshs! (kid sound effect)" The kid's a keeper.

Not bad. Batman and Bronze Tiger in a classic Kung-Fu movie style beat-em-up. Not quite my cuppa tea but it was fun anyway. It has all the cliche elements, the white haired old master taunting the students, renegade students seeking absolute power, a touch of class warfare, shadow ninja and two masterful students who must avenge the death of the old master.
Doesn't anybody respect Bats in the cartoon? He sure seems to take a lot of heat for the outfit. Jonah Hex fans might like the opening.
Next week looks like an instant classic - The Justice Syndicate!

I am absolutely love, love LOVING the B&B Cartoon.
It's got EVERYTHING I wish DC Comics had today. Uncomplicated continuity, iconic characters, a sence of wonder and fun and complete stories.
Certainly, the opening vignettes prove that it is possible to tell a complete story in a short space. DC editors who insist on pumping out tales that take several issues and many months to play out can learn a thing or two from this show.
Like others, I really got a kick out of DC's version of Aquaman. I also preferred the Blue Beetle origin here, and actually grew to enjoy the new version for the first time. I also liked that they just went ahead and presented the new Atom without getting bogged down in history of the old one.
It's hard for me to pick a fav. ep., but the Aquaman/Atom one is right near the top.

I missed the Green Lantern corp episode. I'll look for it in repeat.
The Bronze Tiger episode was enjoyable. But am really looking forward to next weeks. YK, I think it is the Injustice Syndicate, not the Justice Syndicate.

You could be right there Quis. The ad highlighted Owlman and Blue Arrow and Silver something (Red Tornado analogue), there was also a group shot that was a bit too quick for me to see who was represented there.
The GLC episode is awesome and one of the best of the series imo. It was really cool that Bats actually liked Sinestro and his, "My sector has the lowest crime rate in the galaxy." authoritarian attitude.
edit: Blue Bowman not Blue Arrow and Silver Cyclone was the name I was stretching for.

I finally caught an episode this morning ... great show ... Joker/Red Hood as the hero was very cool ... great look on Batman's face when he was thinking about his Earth's Joker ...

Yeah. Joker was still crazy but it was "good guy crazy". Whatever that means. Another fun episode. It didn't fit my preconceptions which is a good thing.
I didn't feel like I needed a Joker origin rewrite but it fit into the frame well enough. The Owl Cave (hollow tree?) was pretty cool. Obviously the script writers, artists and animators are having a lot of fun with this show.
I liked seeing some characters other than Superwoman and Ultraman but I was hoping they'd be mentioned at least. I'm not sure they even exist there. Do you think the girl was supposed to be Fire (Beatriz de Costa)?
A two part episode was a bit disappointing. Hopefully next week's with more Owlman vs Batman will be cool.

I wasn't sure at first who the girl was ... thought maybe "Red Canary" until she breathed fire ... guess she was supposed to be Beatriz ...
loved Batman punching Blue Bowman out repeatedly ...

I saw a few episodes and loved the show, but it's too much for my four-year old. He gets too hyper after watching it, so we had to stop tuning in. I keep meaning to tape it for me, but never remember too. Loved the Etrigan episode.

loved Batman punching Blue Bowman out repeatedly ... yeah that was funny. I was trying to see who all the characters were. Owlman - not in the group fist fight Silver Cyclone Blue Bowman Red Beetle Atom - Red with a black chevron Fire - blonde, red and yellow costume Black costumed white haired stretchy guy Aquaman - Blue costume vs Batman (duh) Red Hood The Ghost - black tux and top hat Grodd - White furred, dark face Polaris - Red outfit blue cloak Yellow Lantern - yellow ring and costume, looked like Sinestro Ocean Master - in a gold costume Just guessing on some of those names aarrrggg..I'm trying to find the credits to see if they tell me the character's names and you'll never in a zillion years guess who got the writer's credit.. go ahead guess.. try... bwah ha ha you're wrong! according to Wikipedia, the Injustice Syndicate members were Owlman, Barracuda, Blue Bowman, Blaze, Dyna-Mite, Rubber Man, Scarlet Scarab & Silver Cyclone ... the heroes were Joker, Sinestro, Clock King, Black Manta, Doctor Polaris, Gentleman Ghost & Gorilla Grodd ...
who's Joseph Kuhr?

The Joker was wonderful, but I still perfer Mark Hamill.
I'd say the best part is when he's just running around with that bomb and laughing like he always does.

Network must have changed things up after publishing it's schedule. My DirecTV DVR had B&B as the listing for what it recorded, but the show was actually Secret Saturdays. I should be able to get it on a rerun, I hope. I'm anxious to see this ep. SO far, I'm LOVING B&B. I find it a great mix of Silver Age sensabilities and modern concepts. With the exception of the teenage Outsiders, I've preferred all of the changes made for the show (esp. Aquaman) to what's actually published in the comics these days. I only wish the B:B&B Johnny DC comic was 1/10th as good as the show.

Mystery in Space pretty much stunk, but Trials of the Demon was very good.
I saw them on youtube, could swear that that balance character was voiced by Oded Fehr. Good actor, has done the Dr. Fate voice on JLU.
Jay could be the guest on a full ep and I would be happy. Jay's the best flash in my opinion. Love Wally and Barry, but Jay's the best.
