While I am glad "Community" is back, I find myself tired of their antics. (I feel like a broken record) I prefer when they stick to the characters and their lives in a more human way. Last season seemed a bit split-personality, where certain episodes were "character episodes," some were "we're going to be sooooo clever now" episodes and the latter seemed to overnumber the former. I'll keep watching though because they are damn clever sometimes

I realize the value of moving the characters forward, like having Troy realize that Abed's near inablity to distinguish fantasy from reality is becoming a problem. But sometimes I just want them to make with the funny. At least enough to keep people interested enough for 6 seasons and a movie.

I also loved tonight's episode and feel it was a return to pre-hiatus heights.
Subway- the original Rick version- is my new favorite character. I HATE THE NEW SUBWAY, Blah! That bastard! I hope Rick/Subway finds his way back to Greendale! *dreamiest of sighs!!*
I love episodes that feature a lot of the 2nd-tier characters (even Magnitude, whom I have warmed to) and this one fit that bill.
I also firmly approve of the introduction of Kim. You remember Kim... right...?
Kim and Todd need to team up!
These are dark days indeed for Troybed, though...

I'd already loved Joel McHale from THE SOUP but I admit Chevy Chase was probably my biggest initial draw to check out COMMUNITY when it premiered. My Dad *always* loved Chevy Chase movies and I have fond memories of enjoying those films with him. So I doubly hate to hear of these backstage dramas involving Chevy. I can understand that it probably IS difficult for him, being the oldest star of the show (not counting Leonard, LOL).
