I do not like Russell at all but I ***LOVE*** how he is kicking ASS. I knew a certain someone was going to be toast... love it.

OMG WOW!
Sookie's little hallucination was interesting. I wonder if she will begin to shift her feeling away from Bill now. Especially with Alcide and Eric both waiting in the wings.
The three deaths tonight were all welcomed and will help thin the cast out for the rest of the season.
Pam! the Queen! Both had great lines!
I also don't care for Russell, but at least he takes no prisoners.
Loved Tara, Jason and LaFayette together and Jason reluctantly agreeing to let Bill help.

I'm fine with the show diverging from the books...it keeps you guessing, for one thing. This portrayal of Claudine, however, is very disappointing to me. I was looking forward to the lively, fun-loving, works-at-Dillard's lass (who also kicks some ass), not the boringly ethereal hippie-dippie chick who lives in Cornyland. (Gawd, I hate to think what they'd do now with Claude.) And that whole "steal your light" thing makes me think of that Friends episode where the girls are all reading that self-help book about people "stealing your wind". (And the cave on Lost. Oy.)

Me either, but Sooks may yet encounter the Claudine you like, Teeds...

It's not impossible, I suppose, given that Sookie was in very bad shape and likely drug-addled when she had the dream or whatever exactly that was.
How about that Terry Bellefleur, though? What a doll. I was a little skeptical at first about him being played for comic relief at times, but then most everyone except Sookie is. Well, her too, if you count that bandanna-print dress she wore in Dallas. Ouch.

Oh I think Sooks gets her share of laughs.
TERRY is LOVE of course.
i think his and Hoyt's... umm, natural assets... are greatly underrated.

As it stands right now, Claudine's introduction reminds me a lot of MaryAnne

WHOA. GAYEST. TRUE BLOOD. EVER.
Loved it. And the cast is whittled down some more, fun!
Although I will NEVER EVER forgive Sookie for not pulling the trigger after you know who kicked her door in.

A transitional episode in a lot of ways. Lots of gore this season. Jessica totally rocked tonight. Sookie's house is a mess again. Damn.

I can't tell you how much the constant wrecking of Sookie's house is bothering me. For me, after that last bite of pecan pie was gone (a scene I still cannot watch without tearing up) in season one, the house became symbolic of Gran. LOVED Gran. CAN'T STAND and want to DESTROY anything that hurts the house/Gran. Oh and yes, tonight's Jessica more than made up for last week's Jessica-free episode. Also, I now officially adore Tommy... what a li'l badass.

Damn, I can't remember enough of the books to know if that's how it played out in them or not.
But <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Debbie</span></span> is a stupid b*itch no matter what. But she (book spoiler)<span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">didn't meet her fate till book four, IIRC.</span></span>
I should really rent this series. I wonder how close they're going to follow the plot of book four...

I'm a little afraid I wont like the changes. On the other hand, Lafayette lives! I probably will get it sometime, but right now I seem to want to spend all my disposable income on comics and yarn, so it might be awhile.

So I finally watched the rest of last night's episode.
SPOILERS APLENTY
Tara's experience with Franklin got rid of her death wish! However, she is still dreaming about him, so I am not sure exactly where that's leading. It was nice seeing her and Sam bond, however.
Jason is being a fool. There is something about Crystal that I cannot stand.
Russell and Debbie go after Sookie. Jessica, with her cute little wave, going after the vampire was adorable.
As far as Bill and Sookie at the end, bluh.
And poor Talbot had to pay for Russell's sins. But at least he got to spend some quality time with Eric before Eric staked him.
Arlene telling Sam not to sleep with the new waitress was priceless! And Arlene's vision of Rene' was suitably creepy.

You have the Library of Vampire Congress in your house and I'm bored, take off your clothes is your best come-on? Werewolves could do better, Talbot. Werewolves.
Jessica and Bill: Wayne and Garth. Excellent. Next up: a Queen tape and Sookie's car, I'm sure.

What is "bluh"? There's one Bill/Sookie scene from book 3 I'm waiting to see if they do, but I don't think it would get a "bluh".
