Okay, so now that it's over, DeLay has declared political revenge on everyone involved. And this isn't political. Riiiight.

I don't know what DeLay's personal faith is. But as a man of the Christian faith, I interpret this statement to mean that those "responsible" will have to answer to God, just like the rest of us.
What disappoints me about this case, even more than the fact that the state basically enforced the slow starvation of a living woman, is that it was framed as an "end-of-life/right-to-die" issue rather than as an issue of the rights of the disabled. Mrs. Schiavo was a disabled woman, not a terminal case.
Personal life lesson for me is to choose very, VERY carefully the woman I marry. It could be a matter of life or death.
