I agree. Amber and Rob don't belong in this race. If they have to appear, why don't they do a celebrity Amazing Race and have the winner's earnings go to charity. A&R certainly don't need another million.

Really? I think it is kind of interesting to have winners of one reality show take a crack at another. Do the talents that it takes to win on Survivor cross over to Amazing Race? I'd wager they do, and I expect Rob and Amber to do well.

Judging from tonight, Rob and Amber do have what it takes. They really play well. Really well.
Bye bye Barbie Sisters!

I was really surprised with the late finish by the brothers team. Maybe now that the Goldilocks girls are gone, they'll be free of all distractions. So far, they seem to be the most sensitive alpha male team I've ever seen. My wife and I are rooting for them, although next week it looks as though they're hit another snag.

I wonder why Rob released that train information to the other 2 teams? Why them specifically if at all?
It struck me how annoying Gretchen was of the oldtimers team. SHE ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE SHOUTING!

Good episode last night. Ron is as slick as ever. You'd think none of these people ever seen him pull fast ones before, I mean for goodness sakes he's been on not one but TWO survivors where he drew people in, manipulated them, then stabbed them in the back. I thought it was brilliant how he paid the bus driver (with his alliance's money) NOT to open the back door, hysterical! If those other teams don't wake up soon and smell the coffee they'll be gone toute suite.I find myself rooting for him in spite of the fact that he's so diabolical, because the other teams are SO clueless!

The mom and son team annoy me, ok so they know they don't have any money because they had to beg to take the funicular up the mountain... so why in the world did they opt for the shopping task? (Speaking of which, where did they get the money to take a cab there and then later to the pit stop?). The older couple this year are not endearing in the least. I like the bros, I like the boyfriends (I laughed out loud when the one commented on he'd never been so hated on before in life when the fishmongers where yelling at them, lol). I like the smarter women's team (I'm thinking they'll be in the finals alond with Rob and Amber).

Well, I'm 2 for 2. The 2 teams that have been eliminated have been on my list of losers. I am definitely picking Rob and Amber as the winners. I am not rooting for them, but they play ruthlessly.

Rob is everything I don't want to watch on the race. I yearn for his comeuppance.

rob rocks on this show, i dont see one thing wrong with what he's doing. This is for a million dollars, 11 teams, why be friendly about it? The rest of the teams may be nice but eventually when it comes down to the final race to the pit stop, no one will be pulling punches.
The gays have got to go, they're embarassing.

They give the rest of us a bad rap. Not all queers are nelly like these two, but when America sees this type of behavior they are going to assume that the rest of us are like that. Some of us are not!

OMG!! I so agree with you! I enjoy the show to see everyday people compete. I use to like Amber on Survivor, but now I see she is becoming alot like Rob. His stunt on the bus was way out of line! I guess he thinks that is the only way he can win is by playing dirty. These two really need to go!

Funny how the team with members who honestly express themselves is embarassing, but the team with a member who so readily relies on deception is a shining example.

Isn't that America's problem?

Those guys are being who they are. They don't need to be responsible for people making uninformed generalizations. Personally, I was glad to see the two gay guys really enjoying themselves. I like to see that more than I like to see perpetual scheming or infighting.

I agree. Personally I see this more as internal homophobia rearing its ugly head. If we can't be accepting of the full spectrum of what our community has to offer, then how in the world can we expect those outside of our community to do the same?! There's no shortage of people trying to pigeon hole us telling us how we should and shouldn't behave. The last thing we need is to do this to ourselves.

Don't like them because they're stupid, because they're not using any common sense when they're trying to finish a task, or because they're annoying. But not because they're gay, or because they're not gay in a way that you deem is appropriate for a gay person to act. This would be perceived as insulting and demeaning if it were coming from someone straight, it's just as equally offensive coming from someone within the community.

Why are you guys so aganist Rob and his bus bribe? I thought it was pure genius. Would you guys have any problem if another team had thought of this strategy? I don't think so.

Rob is playing the game. He is using every trick in the book to get ahead and be first. I see no fault in that. The last detour he did wiht the books was great. R&A were the only team to do it in one trip. It wasn't a survivor thing, it was a real life experenice that taught rob that.

The other teams should quit be so concerened about R&A and try and win the race b/c they are good smart racer that Rob has shown to be.

Actually as much as I disliked him on Survivor, I'm really enjoying his antics on TAR7, you have to laugh at the stuff hecomes up with and the fact that SO many people keep giving him the benefit of the doubt! lol

exactly
these people think he's a dumb ass, the mother/son team, the son made a comment about how rob couldnt put a sentence together so he was no threat, he was pretty shocked to see rob on the beach and was trying to figure out how he got there so fast. Well its cause he's got a brain and he just may prove everyone else to be the dumbass.

Well, a team was eliminated last night that I did not have on my "definite loser" list. The mother and son tried to help me out by blowing it, but the 2 fems got lost and that was that. Rob's antics continue to amuse - he plays ruthlessly and very smart.

Yeah the eliminated team was my pick to go all the way, hell even Phil said he was surprised, too bad. frown And I agree Rob is shrewdly diabolical, it's great. At this point I'm thinking he's the most savvy reality tv star that's ever played any game. He's got all the other teams distracted, instead of focusing on their own game their focused on beating him, so they aren't thinking 3 steps ahead like he is. He must be one hell of a chess player.

Love him or hate him, you've got to respect the fact that his wheels are always turning. His 15 minutes are going to be extended as a result of these antics, I'm thinking "breakout star" when this is all said and done.

LOL couldn't you totally see him teaching a seminar at some school, Deviousness 101.

The mother and son team are DOOMED. I'm surprised they made it to the start line. But, I would enjoy seeing them go through one more whiney pathetic episode like when he wouldn't eat just to spite her.

And the retired couple naturally won't make it into the final episodes.

I don't see the jock with the reluctant wife getting too far either.

I would think that the gay couple could keep finishing strong, along with the childless couple, and the devious couple. Of course, that means one of those teams are surely eliminated next week.

Toss-ups, for me, are the brothers and the POW & beauty queen.

Hey, another duo on my loser list got knocked out. Last night's episode was pretty funny when Rob and Amber got on the plane. The looks on the other teams' faces! The teaser for next week looks cool, too.

I love Romber! (a name created by someone else on another forum). They are just HILARIOUS to watch. The other teams need to focus on their own game otherwise they'll continue to play into their hands.

I felt bad for the mom last night, her kid is just dead weight. And I couldn't help but think that the wannabe Jonathon's comments last night (hate him) about the older couple was perhaps creating drama for an upcoming episode where perhaps the home audience will be pulling for the older couple to stick it to them and eliminate them, would serve them right!

Why in the world is next week's episode 2 hours?

Likely, because the ratings for the show are good enough to warrent it. Also, there are 2 accidents, and that makes for good drama.

I guess I am pulling for Rob and Amber - they play so smart. They pulled from 5th to first place, and they continue to impress me.

Romber are having fun and playing smart. The mother/son team -the son gave up.

I agree wiht everyone else, all the teams should stop whining about Romber and play the game.

Can't wait for next weeks eposide.

MArch 29 episode

Talk about two great episodes!!! I was actually happy that Deena and Ron won the first leg of the race. It looked like he was coming around and wasn't going to be so abusive towards his wife. His comment that they attacked the race differently by not attacking each other sounded like he was changing. But, alas, part two he was right back to his nasty self. He hit his wife in the head with a pole and wouldn't even apologize. What a jerk!!! I felt so bad for Gretchen and Meredith in the caves. What a gusty old lady!! She kept her sense of humor and would not let Meredith give up. True class!! While I know they probably won't win, I was glad to see them finish 5th in part 2. What a twist! Not only did they have to hand over all their money and not receive money at the start of the next leg, but now they take everything except passports and the clothes on their backs!! Cheers to Ucheen & Joyce for giving them clothes and a cash donation. Cheers to the other 3 teams for also donating. The brothers sure had a scare! I was rooting for them to make a comeback and they pulled it off by mere seconds!! What suspense!! They were so relieved that the cameraman was going to be alright. Cheers to the other teams for stoping to check on the brothers after they flipped their jeep. Even though it is a race, those are human beings who may have been in the need of aid. Rob and Amber just proved twice again why I hate them so much! First, they wouldn't help out the old couple ( I guess they feel threatened by them, C'mon Rob, you know their not going to win) and second for not stopping to check on the brothers. Low class trash!!! If that had been Rob and Amber, I'm sure other teams would have stopped. They were the only ones who didn't. Shame, shame, shame!!! Was very glad to see Ron go but unfortunately Deena had to go with him. We are down to six teams left and my predictions are as follows:

Winners - Ucheen & Joyce
2nd - Brothers
3rd - POW & Beauty Queen
4th - Gretchen & Meredith
5th - Alex and Boyfriend
6th - As*Ho#e & Bimbo

Of course I'm rarely right, but this is my wishful thinking.
