I think it's funny that they never have any footage of K&J getting upset as a teaser for next week's episode... they are always so well-behaved there's nothing to tease us with!

I am rooting for K&J to win, but wouldn't mind if the actors or the ex-daters win. I am actively rooting against the engaged models and the existence of the JV Squad/Dr. Phil special... yuck.

Good God could Hayden be more hateful and shrill?!!! I was happy to see Adam finally grow a set and jump out the plane. And his chastizing the Japanese ticket agent by calling her "mean" was hilarious! "Do you understand what mean means, you're mean!" lol

Too bad about K & J. One thing I noticed and was disappointed about those two was that she used the "l" word, and he never did, he kept saying how "proud" he was of her. frown

Seriously, if Aaron can withstand all of Hayden's whineing then more power to him. Different people have different tolerances for that sort of stuff. I am sure in real life that Hayden is a great person if not a bit high strung.

Adam telling the ticket agent she was mean was like a little kid telling off another little kid.

I still love K&J and they still rock!

Well I would imagine the same could be said for Victoria and Jonathan.

I can sorta see your point but I think there is a difference.

Hayden can't handle stress well. She whines and gets panic attacks. But she never got downright mean spritied and verbally nasty. Though it was annoying to hear Aaron all the time.

Jonathan on the other hand was just plan mean and smug. He never had a kind word of Victoria and was always using her as an excuse. Jonathon seems to be one of those people who seem to think that they are nice, but basically a jerk/bully.

I would agree with you, my point is that your reasoning for Aaron putting up with Hayden (tolerance level), can be used by Victoria to explain, what to you and I seems absurd, her reasoning for staying with Jonathan. You're using your interpretation to what makes a sound relationship to define one pair, but not using it in the same manner to apply to the other.

IMO Victoria's no prize either, so they desrve each other.

Hallelujah: Victoria became just as bad as Jon before they were eliminated.

Besides the stupid train, however, how about the stupid ticket agent for giving K&J erroneous info about the earliest flight out of Honolulu! Bad luck.

Anyway, I had a 75% chance of liking the outcome last night, and... it didn't happen. Third World Population Control Agent Kendra has now won half the prize.

Ah well... as soon as the second hour started, Kendra and Freddy sounded like they wanted it more than K&J, and by the time they got on the earlier plane, the writing was on the wall. Only bad luck could have stopped them, and it didn't happen, despite my prayers to third worlders to simply *will* Kendra to become pregnant on the spot and pop out a few Kenyan babies into the deep dish pizza. Damn.

yes...boston rob and amber should make a great team.

Also I have noticed that this year as a greater variety of teams - best friends -like three sets, brothers, and the first mother/son team!

Can't wait!

So did anyone watch last night?

I am so sorry that the hillbillies lost on the first leg. They were funny and they were real people.

That first female team to win seems to be more then just life long friends. Love the spanish coming out of their mouths.

The mother/son team may get annoying after awhile. Didn't like them off the bat.

The brothers are lunkheads.

Rob and Amber were actually good. They worked well togethere and played smart. Especailly durning the digging in the sand. Rob put two and two togethere and realized which one had the best time. While all the other dunderhead teams just dug.

Army boy and Pageant Quenn I am not digging here. He seems ok, but will he really donate all the money to help out other solidiers? Will she really let him?

The Barbies were amusing. The gay couple were funny. The couple that are a strange expierment of J&V and Lori and Bolo were ok. Old couple did the old couple thing. The lone minority couple made alot of mistakes, lets see if they improve.

I really wish that the Hillibillies had stayed. They were awesome and funny. Why did one of them know protugesse?

There are some teams that you know right off the bat aren't going to win. Here is my list of teams that are not going to last:

1) the Hillbillies (already gone, but I had them pegged for losers anyway - not in good enough shape)
2) the mother/son - she's too old for this physically challenging and emotionally draining marathon
3) the older couple - same reason as above
4) the gay guys - not in good enough shape
5) the blond girls - would love to see more of them, especially in a mud-wrestling event, but they don't seem to have the physical endurance, nor the brains. I could be wrong here.
6) the married black couple - they just don't seem like winners

This leaves 5 teams, but I'll have to watch a couple more episodes before I am willing to pick who I think will win.

I thought the hillbillies were just precious. Too bad they're gone. It's nice to see more variation in the teams this time. There were so many boy-girl teams last season it took several episodes before I could tell them apart.

I thought all the teams deserved to lose the first leg of the race. Based on the first episode, no team struck me as likeable, except... Rob and Ambuh... as much as I expected to hate them (and I hated them on Survivor), they actually seemed the most likeable and level-headed of the bunch. Strange.

I really hated Rob on both of his seasons on Survivor and really can't stand him again. Amber seems to have picked up his attitude and I really hope that they get eliminated really soon. Rob is too devious and I know that someone is going to put him in his place. I hated to see the "hillbillies" leave..I enjoyed their comraderie. I found the gay couple to be very annoying and a bad portrayal of gay people in general. America watches these two and sees limp-wristed-lisping-sterotypical queens and that gives the rest of us a bad name. Ooops!! I guess I just outed myself on Legion World!!
All in all, it should be a great season (as always) and I am rooting for Mom and son at this point. I also like the older couple and the brothers.

You won't be the first one LF223. smile

I like Rob and Amber. What did they do in the first show to be so devious? They really where one of the few levelheaded teams on the race.

I just don't like the mom and son so far, but that could change. The brothers are so fake actor/model/frat and they are not even that cute.

I'm glad the hillbillies are gone, oy did they annoy me. The ma and son combo is wearing on me to. I actually like the gay guys, and as for they're being a bad a stereotype, like it or not straights don't hold the monopoly on annoying people. Let America get a full spectrum of the gay community, I'd like to think they've seen enough positive ones compete in previous races to realize that one set of irritating ones does not a whole community make.

Definitely dislike the POW/Pagent winner team, the two blondes and the J and V wannabes from last season.

I think I'm gonna end up rooting for the 2 women who pulled in first on the first episode and maybe the brothers.

I like rob and "ambuh", i dont really care for them winning because they already won, but they've done nothing wrong and i've seen far worse attitudes from previous players. I have a pool going on and i have the couple who are trying to have kids, hope they win but they didnt look too good in the first leg.

I don't like the fact that Rob and Amber are in this race, but my frustration is not directed at them, but at CBS. Allowing a couple who have already won over a million dollars between them on another CBS reality show just shows how blatant a ratings ploy this is!! TPTB know Rob is a character people will watch ever since he backstabbed Lex and others on his way through Survivor All-Stars. Producers are probably desparate because ratings aren't at a comfortable level, despite 2 Emmys for Best Reality Show.

I think many of the other teams automatically hate Rob and Amber and think they "know" them. They really have an uphill battle, as you know no one will team up with them through the course of the race. They truly can only count on each other, even during the early legs of the race.

Other than that, I'm not sure who I'm rooting for yet...
