All I can say is that it was a chilling moment over breakfast... the "what if" comment made by Gale made me think "crap!!"

And I'm a little in shock that there's another new episode next week. I'm thinking that's one of them signs of apocalypse

I'm positive that most have seen the episode which focuses more on Ana Lucia and her band of "tailie" refugees. The stories behind the Goodwin and Nathan alliance lead the viewer to think that a lot had been left unsaid - and apparently Goodwin might be a tad more sinister than he appeared. Good use of Jin, Michael and Sawyer to tie-up their part in the Prisoners in the Pit story thread.

Whatever happened to those other "tailie" survivors as well as the two kids who were taken by Other operatives, makes me even more eager to see what develops as the two groups (tailies and Jack's crew) meet in future.

Still thinking about that pregnancy test. If we go with the theory that the crash was some kind of set up, then maybe whoever's in charge decided that they'd need pregnancy tests. Now I'd like to know how many condems Sawyer's got hidden. If someone wants them to have kids then condems would be rather counter productive.

Hmmm...then maybe the abduction of the little Tailies is somehow, significant, Arachne. nod

It's been pointed out that Locke was really checking Jack out during the shower scene. Opinions?

that was kinda strange wasn't it? It seemed very sorta terrtioral/dommniance/power. It was like Locke was seeing if Jack has a bigger piece or something. Some strange subtext going on in that scene. Jack looked hot.

To you. I know this'll come as a shock, but I'm not really into hairy guys. Brin's a very unusual exception.

It came as a shock to learn that Shannon was killed by Ana Lucia - this had to be accidental, surely?

hehe I don't want to spoil it for ya LAM, but it's an ongoing bit between Ana and the rest of the survivors.

Archane, I'm thinking Locke was looking to ambush Jack as he came out of the shower. It puts him on the defensive, makes him feel vulnerable, and more agreeable.

The most recent episode was more revealing than late, but in a low key way. We got more of John's backstory, but we still don't know how he was crippled. Just seeing this guy grates on my nerves. It was a nice bit with him in the hatch, I almost cried in hope.

The sub-plot between Jack and Sawyer was fun. And seeing the Kate and Hurley commenting was even better. They were certainly echoing us viewers.

By the by, the little one-on-one between Kate and Jack was intersting. She came across as oppurtunistic, and he lied to her. Hmmmm.

And next week- laugh

Wow. Love that. I agree CJ, the Texas Hold 'em match between Jack and Swayer was great. Why was Jack in Phuket for? Is that where he got all the tats?

The ending was great. Henry gaining Locke's trust and then have it all turn around in the end.

Can't wait for next week!

Watched LOST last night - so Jack and Ana Lucia knew each other BEFORE the plane crashed...A-L's mother was in the police force AND her superior officer???? It was so sad to see Sayid come across Shannon's corpse, but I was surprised that he kept both his calm and his dignity even after confronting the killer. Maybe seeing (and taking part) in bloodshed must have desensitised him...

Someone from Dharma, maybe.

I really enjoyed this episode, but Jack is getting annoying. He's way too arrogant and I don't like that he seems to be good at everything. He's turning into a Mary-Sue. And I still can't see any sparks between him and Kate.

The ep was great though, the map scene was extremly cool. I can't wait to find out what goodies are in the food drop.

I keep thinking maybe "Henry" is one of those wild card characters like Rousseau and Desmond that are maybe not aligned with Dharma/the Others. I like him at any rate, although to a certain extent I'd have like some of the screen time he's been getting go toward the main characters.

I have to admit, I find something oddly appealing about Gale as well. I get the feeling he's going to be someone who knows a lot and helps the plot advance along, but that's he's going to be kind of caught in between the various opposning forces, rather than simply turning out to be a spy for the Others or something.

Just a thought - just how far behind is Australia's episodes of "Lost", compared to you guys?

Don't remind me. What am I going to do between May and September? frown

As for Gale, in the Canadian preview Click Here For A Spoilerthey show Sayid threatening to shoot him. We hear a gun go of, but of course we don't see what it hits.
