Speaking of flashbacks, It looks like the next episode will be a Claire flashback, so I think that'll leave Libby as the only major character who hasn't yet had a flashback this season.

Last season, we learned to like, or at least respect, these survivors. We saw them do good things, either on the island or in their pasts. It seems they had built themselves a nice little society. And now this season, we get to know the bad things they can do. I keep coming back to Goodwin's comment to Ana L., "They are good people..."
Seeing Sayid lose control this week was tough. I really expected him to remain the good guy throughout the show's run.
I'm glad Jack stood up to Locke, finally. Sadly, he's obviously a favourite of the writers, so no chance of him being Artzed any time soon.
As for the symbols, we never did get to see the first one. But the other four looked like symbols from Dharma logos seen elsewhere on the island.
Hurley, Libby, and Jin haven't had flashbacks this seaon. I'm guessing there won't be one for Libby. As for Henry, will Jack let him out of the safe and mingle with the others despite Sayid's claim?
Just spouting off.

Sarah was buying stuff for her wedding - Boone used to run a wedding supply business. Hurley had a flashback where he was listening to a music CD by Charlie's band Drive Shaft while browsing in a record store. The artwork on the wall in the hatch looks similar to paintings glimpsed in Claire's loft. and lastly....In Hurley's recent dream sequence, he was drinking a carton of milk which had a missing child photo on it. That child was Walt - so I imagine his father was planning to abscond with the kid to parts unknown before the plane crashed. Apologies in advance if these factoids had already been touched upon earlier.

Ceej, I think Hurley did have a flashback episode with that kid from the movie 'Road Trip' (almost positive that was this season, but unsure).
I really like your comparison between this season and last, I hadn't looked at it that way before. Sayid's speech at the end of the last episode was intense.

Yeah, "Everybody Hates Hugo" (which lam also mentions in his post) was this season, and I was counting the Sun flashback as a joint Sun/Jin flashback, so that does leave Libby as the only main character without one thus far.

Canadian Lost fans take note! CTV is airing the new episode of Lost at 7:00pm Wednesday instead of 9:00pm. You might want to check your local listings in case it's not the same across the country.

I saw a few Lost related articles here in Australia - what's the deal with Hurley in that toga? And now Sayid looking as if he ought to be singing "Walk Like An Egyptian"...

Agree! So much info came out and we learned so much more in this one episode. Who does everyone think 'he' is that Zeke and Ethan were talking about?

Well, it looks likely that Zeke and Ethan work for Dharma, so I'd guess one of the upper level Dharma people, either DeGroot, Candle, or Hanso.
It's cool that we found out one of the reasons why the main Losties had such a different experience with the Others than the Taillies did.
I'm wondering if Kate kept the gun Sawyer gave her.
I liked seeing Libby do something.
I also really liked the slightly different take on the flashbacks for this episode. This is the most integrated we've seen them into the plot, with Claire actually regaining her memories as they flash back.

Saw an episode last night, EDE - the back-story of the Sun-Jin courtship...Also, I notice that Sun appears to be quite fluent in speaking English than she was when the series first began. She had lost her wedding ring and this led her to dwell on how things were back in "the old country"

Two big things from the next ep:

Sun asks Sawyer for a pregnancy test!

Cool! Thanks. Did they say if Sawyer had one? It's not exactly something people would generaly take on a plane trip, I should think.

Funny, in the episodes showing in Australia now, Jin was with the other "Lefties" along with Michael and the other guy...I wonder who might have trifled with Sun's affections in her hubby's absence?

I missed it this week, too busy moving cross country. Anyone care to give me a run down?
BTW, LAM, they have only been on the island for roughly 50 days, so odds are Jin would be the father, and she is only getting the idea now.
Just spouting off.

From memory:
Aaron is sick with a fever and rash. Claire wakes Locke, who volunteers to go get Jack (who is on hatch duty). Rousseau wanders into camp and says that the child is infected. Kate chases her away. Jack gets there and says there's nothing major wrong with Aaron; getting fever/rashes is normal for babies.
Claire asks Libby for help in remembering the time she was kidnapped. While in her session with Libby, she remembers being examined by a doctor who is injecting her with something to protect her baby. The doctor turns out to be Ethan.
Claire begins screaming. She decides that she needs to find the place where she was taken when she was kidnapped to get medicine for the baby. Kate agrees to go along, and asks Sawyer (who has found new glasses) for a gun, which he gives to her. Kate and Claire go in search of Rousseau, who Claire is convinced knows the way to where she was kept, since she also remembers scratching Rousseau during the ordeal because Rousseau was trying to take her back to the place after she escaped.
Kate and Claire find Rousseau, who leads them to where Claire scratched her, but doesn't seem to know anything more. Claire then wanders around a bit until she finds the entrance to the bunker where she had been kept.
All the while she is remembering being kept in there. They had built a nice room for her baby, which she had agreed to give them to raise. She is obviously woozy and drugged while she is there. In one of the flashbacks we see Ethan talking to a man who seems like a clean-shaven Zeke. It is revealed that Ethan was found out before he could make "a list", and that someone ("he") would be mad once they told him.
Claire, Kate, and Rousseau find the bunker abandoned, and the medicine cabinet empty. Kate does find, however, some beanies, fake beard, and "Dharma theatrical glue" in one of the lockers. Claire demands that Rousseau tell her where the medicine is, to which Rousseau replies "You're not the only one who didn't find what she was looking for here."
Claire remembers her escape from the bunker. A teenage girl had told her that the doctors planned on cutting the baby out of her. Claire didn't believe it, and didn't want to leave. So the girl chloroformed her and left her in the jungle. Rousseau had found her there. Claire tried to get away from Rousseau and back to Ethan (under the influence of the drug apparently), but Rousseau knocked her out and carried her back to the Losties camp. Claire realizes that the teenage girl who helped her was Rousseau's daughter.
Meanwhile, Eko discovers that Henry Gale is being held prisoner in the hatch, and ask to see him. He confesses his sin of killing the "Others" to Gale, and then cuts off parts of his beard. There's also a scene where Gale asks Locke why he always let's Jack be the leader, which frustrates Locke.

Usually the repeats point to something happening soon, so maybe we'll be moving Kate's story forward a bit...
The only consistent feature of all of your dissatisfying relationships is you.
Don't judge me!
