I like what they did this show. The whole show was a con from the begining. We were expecting a big Locke/Jack fight and guess who has to go and ruin the whole thing. They were building him up to be such a 'good' guy that I am glad that he is back to 'villian' mode. I dind't see that coming at all. But when it did all go down, I was wondering who helped him? My thought was on Ana Lucia, but I sure glad I was wrong about that. Dark Charlie rears his head again.
Great episode and I can't wait to see next's week. <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">The clock goes down to zero!</span></span>

One irony is the fact that the guns are probably safer with him than with Jack or Locke, simply because he's not going to be handing them out to anyone, and probably isn't going to be easily tricked into giving them up.
I love the fact that Charlie as the accomplice was foreshadowed at the beginning, but the revelation was still unexpected at the end.

CJ, Australia's now airing the first couple of episodes of the new season of Lost...this Desmond character appears to have a quirk or two, but he does play "my kind of music"...

I think I'd enjoy it if she went nuts and Sayid had to put her down like a mad dog - hehe... Or maybe they'll just find a reason to stick her character in the hole for a few episodes (it could be the de facto penalty box for petulant actors).
(you can post from a PSP? Wow, I am so 20th century...) Well, CNN and MSNBC have both pulled their reports on the same story and I found this today on Sci-Fi's RSS Feed: Lost denies Ana Lucia rumors .

For a little while I thought that we could write off all the good things hes done as a con, but I rewatched "Exodus" and you see some good behaviour when no ones around. Can't remember what exactly now, of course. Interesting note, the song he was singing on the raft was "Redemption Song" by Bob Marley. Someone on another forum suggested that "If Kate loved him enough, he'd change." That's the attitude that gets women into abusive relationships. It should be "If he changes enough, Kate will love him." Speaking of Kate, I was thinking about what led her to kill. I think that something really bad happened to her (probably something Wayne should have prevented), but she buried it inside, trying to be a tough soldier just like a daughter of Sam's (I think that was his name) ought to be. When she found out that that bastard Wayne was her real father she fell apart.

What confuses me is what I was seeing the other night where Jack was in hospital fatigues and his hair was longer (he had a passing resemblance to Kyan from "Queer Eye") talking to this woman and explaining as gently as he could that she may never walk again. The flashback insert caught me by surprise and I was left wondering what significance it had to his current situation on the island.

He married the lady, I believe. They're divorced now, though.

Damn, I never thought of them being hieroglyphics. Not that I could read them anyway. I was really hoping for something more dramatic. Good ep, but why were there no regular female characters? Except for that pic of Kate. I assume that was her dad? (The one she didn't kill, I mean.) And while I can sympathize with Sawyer position, that was really gross. Poor Hurley.

I couldn't make out the second symbol no matter how many times I paused and reversed and forwarded the TiVo. But with the other four, could this have been it?

Interesting. I could've sworn one was an arrow (not that I freeze framed it or anything). The shelter where the tailies were holed up had a dharma symbol with an arrow instead of a swan and of course the new mystery guy had an arrow sticking out of him...

Damn, Henry is a Other for sure. Good catch with the arrow and the talies hatch drake. I found the pictograms interesting too. And EDE, I didn't catch on to the name till you wrote it. Do you think it has any meaning?
They are finding great ways to connect the characters togethere. It's almost like a six degree of seperation thing for everyone on the island.

The hieroglyphs you speak of - are you referring to the symbols on Desmond's computer, before Locke types in those numbers? (Hurley's eyes nearly popped out when he saw them!)

Is ranch dressing to Hurley what heroin is to Charley?

There was a thread someplace discussing the ranch dressing's motivation (and demanding that it gets a flashback), but I can't remember where. :7 I can't believe how controversial the frogocide is on the Lost boards. Some people think the frog's poisonous, so justice may be served after all.
